Tripp Lite Smart Online UPS systems offer high performance power protection ideal for critical server and network equipment in a variety of application environments. Online, double-conversion Uninterruptible Power Supply / UPS maintains perfectly regulated output power by continuously converting raw AC input to DC, then re-converting output back to AC. Sine wave AC output with +/-2% voltage regulation powers network equipment continuously, even during severe brownouts and overvoltages, all without depleting UPS battery reserves. Maintains battery-derived AC output during power failures with zero transfer time. Extended runtime options available. Interactive LCD interface reports UPS operating mode, detailed UPS and site-power data, plus enables a variety of UPS setup and configuration options. Highly efficient operation in optional economy mode saves BTU heat output and energy costs. Network management interfaces support communications via USB, RS-232, contact-closure and optional SNMPWEBCARD network interface. Built-in DB9 port offers both enhanced RS-232 data and basic contact closure monitoring ability. HID-compliant USB interface enables integration with built-in power management and auto shutdown features of Windows and Mac OS X. Includes PowerAlert monitoring software and complete cabling. Emergency Power Off (EPO) interface. LCD display reports UPS operating mode, line power availability, battery mode operation, inverter operation, ECO mode status and output power availability. Audible alarm with push-button momentary alarm-cancel and silent-mode configuration options. Programmable self-test. Fault-tolerant auto-bypass mode. Battery independent restart. Field-replaceable, hot-swappable internal batteries and external battery packs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid backup for critical equipment. We use 2 of these to give us buffer time and protection for our Epson wide format printer. One each for the printer and one for the heating element. So far this unit has performed as needed and made it through a brief weather induced hiccup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holds up to a harsh environment running on generator power Bought in 2021. Using to power a work station and several other components that are powered by a generator. The double-conversion UPS is great. Awesome support too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product, Highly Recommended. I have had my SU1500XLCD for much longer than it was registered (Don't ask me how I forgot to register THIS of all products)...I would say approx 4 years give or take and it still functions well. Maybe a 6 months back I had to replace the battery(s) finally which is expensive, and the replacement seems cheap, it may be going back to Tripp-Lite since it came with a cracked cable (Third Party Seller, but the cables are different than the original) and that would be my only complaint. It has served me faithfully without a single error all this time, still does and I ran it in double conversion mode (full protection) at all times, almost constantly for all that time. I can get 2 hours on battery (If I really want to drain it, which you shouldn't) using my custom rig, monitor, and speaker setup listening to music, programming, or watching movies. Playing resource intensive games cuts that in about half, depending on the game...sometimes more. This has seen voltage ranges between 124 and 110 without complaint or damage to my system in any way from the box, i never let it run if i noticed such a low voltage personally. All in all, it's still good enough after all these years to buy again if it weren't so expensive for me, the only thing that would have made this better is Lightning Strike protection to preserve your battery life, but you can only ask for so much I suppose. I can certainly recommend this product if you can afford it, and can't afford your equipment getting damaged or your computer shutting down without time to save your work. I can't speak for the replacement batteries, but I still got almost 4 years off the original set running it without eco mode or anything to extend its life. I can be run in multiple different countries through the settings and shut down remotely with the application that comes with it which can be as simple as USB for local shutdown. All in all, I love this thing...and i'm sure it saved at least my Power Supply multiple times

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very capable and reliable. Excellent for PCs and Monitors. This UPS backs up my computer and two monitors. I particularly like the double conversion feature so that if the house power does fail, there is a zero conversion time to UPS power. If the power does house power does fail, I typically shut my computer down but the 1.35kW capability does give me some time in case I am in the middle of something. I would highly recommend the UPS to backup computer systems, entertainment systems, and medical equipment that would be critical if the power were to fail.
