Ideal for your home or office workstation, this Protect It! 8-outlet surge protector features a surge protection rating of 1200 joules to defend your sensitive electronic components against strong power surges and spikes. Because residential power outlets have three wires - hot line (H), neutral (N) and ground (G) - the TLP88USBB protects all three, covering the two protection modes: full normal mode (H-N) and common mode (N-G/H-G).
Plug your PC, printer, wireless router, game console, television, sound system or other home/office electronics into eight NEMA 5-15R outlets to protect them against dangerous surges, spikes and line noise. Three outlets are widely spaced to accommodate bulky power transformers without blocking adjacent outlets. Built-in safety covers prevent dust and debris from falling into unused outlets.

Its a downward plug and prevents you from plugging two of these into the same outlet. Maybe that's on purpose but I should have been able to know this openly.

They work so I keep buying more Tripp-Lite Surge Protectors!
I use the product for many of my electronic devices around the house. I use it on computers, audio equipment, televisions, printers, and any electronic device for that which I need a Surge Protector. I don't purchase the other brands anymore. They did not give me the lifetime warranty coverage, so why bother?

I bought this for my daughters college dorm room. It never made it to college. I borrowed it before she left I decided to borrow it and I used it for some speakers In my family room and I love it. Works great and have had no issues with it.

I would buy this product again
It's a great product it is nice to have it that way not to much energy is going in and catches on fire. It protects what ever I have plugged into it which is nice to have especially since I have a lot of stuff that needs plugged in like some tvs or my computer and a printer.

I've always trusted the Tripp-Lite products, clearly they're an industry leader. I love the fact that surge protectors now have USB charging capabilities. The more the better for flexibility!

Handles all of my electronics.
My cable box was being replaced, the cable guy asked how old my current surge protector was and I said probably 20 years old. He said they should be replaced about every 5 years. I found this on Office Depot website. I really like it as it has room for those big block plugs.

seems to be a quality product.
the AC outlets are well designed and nicely spaced to make all of them usable.
My wife tells me the product would be more useful if it had different types of ubs connectors.

Great protection at a great price
I recently purchased two 8 outlet surge protectors because I needed two USB ports and the extra outlets for apple watches and iPhones to charge and be protected. Great purchase and I've had no issues. I've purchased Tripp lite before for my router/wifi modem and they never disappoint!
