Solid sure protector. Love the extra spacing on the sides so you can use bricks and non-standard plugs. Only downside is 100Mb/s limit on the ethernet which is only a problem if your internet speeds exceed 100Mb/s. Other than that it is a great product that is rated enough to hold all of my living room devices.

So close to being perfect for this style of of surge proecto
Needed a secondary power strip to go with my UPS system. I have too many devices that have odd shaped power connectors. I wanted a system that would allow the odd shaped brick with regular tips. This strip is really well done but the two things that keep it from being a 5 star is they put the USB ports on one side. if you have a wide connector plugged in that interferes with the USB port and secondly they needed to space the outside outlets further apart. I get that the phone and cable surge protection ports took space away but just a little extra distace between each outlet could really help. Overall I'm very happy with it. It's thin, has a long cable and works great thus far.

Solid product! I live in FL, the lightning capital, and over the past 7 years either my neighbor or myself has lost a tree due to it being struck by lightning. ~ Absolutely amazing, and scary as hell, to see tree roots blown out of the ground and the trunk splinter like a toothpick! Anyways, I just built a new high end rig w/ a 35" ultra-wide and am tired of shutting it down and unplugging it during a storm. Now I can continue working and not have to worry about something happening to it. Im a loyal customer.

Since installing it about a week ago, it has performed as expected. (I had previously bought the same kind of surge protector from another company and had had to return that one which did not work.) I appreciate the light indicators telling me that the line is grounded and the surge protector is working. I haven't experienced it shutting itself off when overloaded yet, but I also appreciate that feature.

Highly recommend to anybody to buy.
Even thought the electric station is just three blocks away, when we get power outages the electricity takes hours to come back. With this surge protector I protect my computer, monitor, internet coaxial cable, modem, router, a VCR machine, and a VHS/DVD burner. At my house I have four Tripp -Lite surge protectors. I even have one for my refrigerator.

My other surge protectors were 20 years old and didn't have as many options as the old ones. The price is right when protecting two computers, three printers among other things like USB ports that can be used to charge phones and tablets. The protection that's offered if something did go wrong and my devices were damaged is one of the best I've seen.

I like the insurance policy the unit comes with and the price of the unit. This is not something I would use for traveling. I would have preferred that the cord plug was a right angle plug so I could plug it into the top outlet without having it block the bottom outlet. I didn't like that the usb ports only support 2.1 Amps total instead of 2.1 Amps each. I'd prefer each outlet to support at least 2.4 Amps each. I also wish this unit had rubber feet to help keep it in place.

I like the surge suppressor because it has 12 outlet on it and they are spaced out just right for what i have to power up.
It also has 2 usb charge stations on it which helps out a lot. I like the 4320 Joules that it has, others that i looked at had
less than that, which made a difference to me. And I like the idea they had to shows wither the outlet is grounded or not,
and if you are protected.
There is nothing that I dislike about this unit at this time.

My history with Tripp-Lite devices made this an easy choice
Two Isobars were full protecting my computers and accessories so when I updated and added new devices to my A/V system I needed more plug-ins. I wanted a Tripp-Lite product because of my long term satisfaction with Isobars and the strong warranty - one of my Isobars was replaced free of charge after over 30 years of continuous service! I went to the Tripp-Lite website and after a thorough review, chose a Protect It! 12 Outlet Surge Protector. Besides the protection, one of the features is the receptacle layout because some accessory devices use large transformer plug-ins, and the layout of this device allows them all to be plugged in without losing a space. Also, I can pull one plug without having to pull two others to get to it. Everything works and I am looking forward to many more years of my electrical devices protected by Tripp-Lite.

This product works for me
I bought three of these to replace questionable surge protectors. After doing some research, I thought these would work for me without being too expensive. We have one for our modem/computer room. One by out kitchen table for laptop recharging/plug in, and one behind our stereo equipment. It has lots of plugs and other connections. It has gone through at few power surges without problems. The lights make sense to me so I know that it is still able to handle a surge.

You should only buy Tripp-Lite surge protectors. I have never heard of one failing to protect equipment in a lightning strike. I also have never heard of others protecting equipment connected to the when lightning strikes, the equipment connected to them was fried. I have had over 40 years of working with computers professionally.

Great build quality and just what I expected from Tripp-Lite
I'm very pleased with this surge protector so far. It allows me to arrange the power bricks sufficiently so as not to block any of the outlets and even though it runs nearly 24 hours a day isn't even warm to the touch. I have an old, metal bodied Isobar-4 that I bought in the late '80's or very early '90's and it is still working to this day. It's why I bought this protector and I have no reason to believe it won't last just as long.

This product has a very high clamping voltage and rapid clamping time. The instructions say the coax ports are marked in and out They are not. Apparently, however, they are bi-directional. I tried them both ways and they work. Great specs for a great price.

Most other products that I've seen around the same price point seem to have half the rating or less! Therefore, I strongly recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a simple surge protector and who wants the best protection for the price.

Useful power strip to protect your devices
This is a very good product. First, I appreciate the Joule rating being over 3000 and the fairly slim design of the power strip, which allows for easy mounting under a desk. It also has a nice number of ports fairly well spaced out and in different directions to accommodate various sized plugs. The only negative is the brightness of the indicator lights for Grounded and Protected with the Grounded indicator the brightest of the two (2) lights being a bit of an announce in a dark room (e.g. bedroom).

We got a whole home surge protector installed, and bought 3 of these as a back-up/stage 2 for anything that got past the home/stage 1 protector. Loved the design that includes spaces for 6 of the larger electrical "blocks." It hooked up fine but I do have one small issue with these outlets. It may not affect you. I mount mine high on the rear of my desk, cabinet, etc to get them off the floor, and also to allow me to turn them on/off easier instead of having to get on the floor or move furniture around in order to get to the switch.There are 4 slots on the rear of these units to allow you to mount them, using small screws that then slide on the slots. Common idea. Many items allow this. BUT....this design needs some work. First off, INCLUDE THE SCREWS! I made one trip to the hardware store to buy screws, and found that all of them did not have a head thing enough to allow them to slide on to the unit....b/c the case design does not allow for a normally-sized screw head to be used. I called Tripp-Lite and spoke at length, asking "what are the specs for the screws? You guys have allowed for a screw head of about 1/16" tall. So far, I have been unable to find one that fits."
They had no specs or sizes of screws that would work. No knowledge at all. No idea really, about what I was talking about. Multiple people had to get involved in the call, and still, no answers. I asked "If the specs are so tight that only certain screws will work, why not just include 4 of them in the package?"
No real answer.
The guy at my hardware store went above and beyond and finally tracked down some "pins" that worked, but they are more like nails, not screws. And screws would be better to hold the unit on.
As I said, might not be an issue for you. But it was for me. More maddening for me was the feeling that 1) they had never had anyone ask for the screws before and 2) I got the feeling that this was the first time they had actually been made to pick up and look at their own product.

Glad I purchased this serge proctor
My old serge protector didn't have enough room to plug in the new desk lamp I just got. My daughter, recommended Tripp-Lite. I now have a few extra plugins and it is not much bigger than the old one. I can now charge my phone, using a USB slot, at my desk too. This serge proctor is working very well for me. The warrantee is great, although I'm not expecting to need to use it.

Would not hesitate to buy additional Tripplite suppressors.
Bought this product for my new iMac. It had all the features I wanted in a surge suppressor as well as a quality brand name I am familiar with. It is quietly mounted out of the way providing protection of my iMac here in the lightening capital of the US. Also, very competitively priced.

Can't go wrong with TrippLite!
After researching several various brands and offerings from retailers, I decided on TrippLite as they received excellent reviews. I bought two of the 12-outlet surge protectors for my home office. These replace two CP protectors that I had that wore out (some outlets were no longer working) after an electrical storm hit the area. Very happy with the multiple outlets and spacing so I can plug in larger power plugs. Also love the 8' cord so it's easier to reach my wall outlet. Great product thus far!

Excellent choice for high value equipment
There are lots of companies that make protective power bars, and most are good enough for use in a city. If you want one that is going to provide more protection and unlikely to fail outside a city where there are more power disturbances, first pick a company that makes reliable equipment for an industrial market - such Tripp-Lite. Our TV out in the country emitted a small white flash with a little pop and never worked again when a thunderstorm went by last year even though it was on a simple surge protector bar. This one has a higher rating and also protects the satellite dish cable. It should be quite boring for ten years after which we'll replace it just in case. The layout of the plugs is also convenient, for the different power blocks that have to plug in.

Works great and I like the design of the outlet placement. Perfect for a setup with multiple PC/monitor/consoles. The layout allows me to not have to worry about devices with larger AC adapters that would have otherwise covers neighboring outlets, wasting one.

Tremendous quality and value
This surge protector is used for my ethernet, router and copier. I also use the USB ports. The layout is very convenient and the protection level exceeds my needs but gives me peace of mind. I have hooked the plug into an outlet, and plugged in all of my electronic devices to it. So far, the outlet has a combinated all the plugs, without any seizure. Definitely feeling a lot more reassured knowing that all of my equipment is plugged into the strip.

I use it to protect two monitors, my docking station and my laptop. The only bummer is that the light from the power on switch is too bright. The could have used a simple low powered LED and not make the whole switch a light.

I have a number of "wall warts" and other plugs that are non-standard in size so I needed a power strip that allowed me to plug them all in. I also needed to be able to wall mount the power strip to keep it up off the floor and out of the way. The USB charging ports are a nice feature, especially since it seems like everything charges off USB these days.
My only complaint is that mounting screws were not provided and I had a hard time finding screws that fit in the shallow slots, but that was resolved with a few minutes with my Dremel on pair of screws I found in my collection.

I truly love my Tripp-Lite power surge protector!!! I recently started working from home and my equipment required multiple sockets. The computer equipment cords came packaged in zipper bags with Tripp-Lite imprinted on them. So I figured it must be a trusted brand. I went online to find if I could purchase it locally and I could, but it was cheaper to purchase my surge protector online. I only had to wait 2 days for it to be delivered so I said what the heck I can wait.
