The SMART1000RM1U SmartPro 120V 1kVA 800W Line-Interactive Sine Wave UPS provides battery backup and AC power protection against blackouts, brownouts, power surges and line noise that can damage electronics or destroy data. Ideal for backing up data centers, VoIP systems and network closets, the SMART1000RM1U switches to 1kVA/800W battery mode in milliseconds to keep your connected equipment running long enough to save files and shut down safely with no data loss.
Two of the six NEMA 5-15R outlets may be switched off remotely to reboot equipment or shed nonessential loads to maximize battery backup time for mission-critical equipment. The internal battery provides 14 minutes of support at half load (400W) and four minutes at full load (800W). Operating with a high 99% line mode efficiency, the ENERGY STAR-certified SMART1000RM1U saves you money by meeting strict EPA guidelines.
Automatic voltage regulation (AVR) maintains 120V nominal output over an input range of 83V to 147V without using battery power. EMI/RFI noise filtering improves your equipment’s performance and prevents damage. A 450-joule surge suppression rating protects your equipment from harmful power surges. With Tripp Lite’s included PowerAlert® software, the SMART1000RM1U enables safe unattended system shutdown and file saves in case of a prolonged power failure.

I would buy this product again.
I Use the Smarter 1KVA to protect the office computers of my business.
It fits well in a narrow cabinet under my desk.
The features are great, and after decades of using Tripplite products,
I find I can depend on them.
The customer service is excellent, efficient, and convenient.

Many extra years of great service.
We recently installed this replacement of the UPS in our theatre sound rack with the same model as our original install. The original lasted well passed (going on 10 years) its expected life span and the batteries still tested as OK. We replaced it because the cooling fan was finally giving out. Installation of the replacement was very simple for me as an end user. The diagnostic troubleshooting lights on the front are very helpful.

WIll be buying product for my other sites.
Working in such a large organization we need assurance that we will keep going. We added of these to our VoIP phone system to create redundancy and could not be happier with the product. We will be expanding our use of these products and purchasing more for other sites to replace our aged units.
