Tripp Lite Guarantees It
Tripp Lite's guarantee is worth it. Plus, they are the only ones with the clip mount system which is great if you care about design.

High quality item
High quality item. I was able to mount this on my branded garage slatwall system by using the tabs that came with it (with washers to create spacing required to get a nut/larger screw in in). We use a flavor of these power strips at my engineering job. If it is good enough for them, it is good enough for my workbench.

High quality, great features, warranty support
I use Tripp-Lite products for 2 reasons: reliable quality products; and they stand by the product with warranty support. They also offer a breadth of products not found many other places. This item, for instance, has 8 outlets spaced over 24 inches, with gives lots of room for plugging and unplugging things. Additionally, I purchased the 10 foot cord option, so I will not need to insert an extension cord into my circuit. The build quality is obvious just by feel. No chintzy construction here.
