Inexpensive Power Conditioner
I've used TrippLite hospital grade surge protectors for my computers and stereo gear for years, and they do a solid job. It seemed this would be a reasonable choice particularly for the stereo. I've tried a couple of much more expensive power conditioners for my main stereo system. One made no noticeable difference. The other seemed to fog or veil the sound, especially high frequencies. This does it's job. It's not a night and day improvement. The system already sounded very good with the hospital grade surge protectors, but there is a reduction in background noise. I played one of my favorite playlists before and after connecting it, listening carefully, and it seems cleaner, just the music. Very nice, and not thousands of dollars!

I would buy this product over and over, and I have!
I use it to protect an advanced content creation PC along with 3 QHD Monitors. Very reliable unit, I had used previously the 1800 and 2400 watts version concurrently and thanks to these my equipment was protected from the weather incidents and power company brownouts.
I decided to go with same brand as I have experienced for years the reliability of this product.
