Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purchased to smooth flow from emergency generatorIn preparing for hurricane season I tuned up the emergency generator and re-stocked my survival supplies. This generator carried us for 8 days the last hurricane. Then my wife says: "if it eats a circuit board in our high-tech fridge again I want a whole new fridge". I went to the generator manual and it says that one must use a 'line conditioner' for delicate electronics. Since we have a new flat-screen TV since last emergency use, I figured we don't want to purchase a new refrigerator AND a new TV. Hence, this purchase. Have tested it for a full 4 hour run and, so far, no blown circuits boards. Hah! the fridge stays! This thing is HEAVY! It must have a lot of stuff inside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ProductThe Line Conditioner was bought several years agoto help protect UPS battery backup systems andseveral computers. The unit has worked flawlesslyand also helps us identify when the power companydrops or raises their line voltage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertisedTripp-Lite LCR2400, 2400 Watt 3U rack-Mount Power Conditioner works as advertised. It provides protection and very stable voltage to my expensive stereo equipment. But Tripp-Lite seems to be missing the boat, by not building this unit in a more attractive case for the Audio File and Home Theater community which could be a gold mine for Tripp-Lite.Example;Remove the duplex outlet on the front panel, remove the circuit breaker from the front and put it on the back side. Redo the readout lights on the front panel replacing some with a LED digital voltage meter plus install a 12 volt output trigger to power on attached equipment on the LCR2400. The Trip-Lite logo should be reduced in size and placed off to the side. The price would naturally need to be increased by at least $100 but well worth the extra money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would recommend this product to my customersI bought this product to solve a sign wave problem with the standby generator and the UPS for my computer. The Generator doesn't produce a clean enough sign wave for the UPS to recognize, therefore, when the generator is running the UPS would not recognize the incoming power and would not switch off battery. Once I installed this product and tried it, that problem was cured. The Power Conditioner/APR cleaned the sign waves enough for the UPS to recognize and go off battery power when the generator runs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Past experience with productI just bought a replacement for the unit protecting my TV,etc. I have had 3 units since the early 90s. I use them to protect my sound equipment in a band. You never know the quality of the power system your plugging into at various locations, including occasionally generator power. I converted one unit to TV at home use when I bought a 61" HD TV in 2003. We are in the country and the voltage fluctuates a lot. Occasionally I have to run a generator when power is out. My TV use LCR2400 has been continuously on since 2003. The voltage indicators are often fluctuating. This unit recently took a hit (lightning surge) and won't come back on. It protected the equipment downstream, exactly as it is supposed to. I got my money's worth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great 2400W 120V power ConsitionerI bought this power conditioner to make the power going to my sauna more stable. When plugged directly into the 20A 120V outlet, there were times when the voltage was unstable, and the controller in my sauna shut down temporarily. So I got this TrippLite product and have never had a problem since. I put the TrippLite into metal box with some holes for the cables. And it's great. Now the sauna never shuts down. And the metal box enclosure doesn't even get hot to the touch, so I know the TrippLight is not getting hot either! It's a great product that has both the 20A and regular 15A sockets on the back. The TrippLight does what is says, i.e., provide power line conditioning. This makes the electronics it is attached to work better!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from surpise benefitI just purchased this line conditioner. Haven't had a surge problem yet, but the unit has a line fault warning, which triggered, so I thought the unit was defective. I plugged the unit into other outlets, and didn't get the same warning, telling me the problem was real and specific to this outlet. The unit essentially told me that the contractor didn't wire this newly installed outlet correctly. So I made the contractor come back and fix it. Worth the money right there.
