Tripp Lite's 1800 watt (peak output) Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) system protects sensitive electronics, computer accessories and home theater equipment from power-related damage and performance problems. The LC1800 extends the useful life of connected equipment by providing optimum voltage conditions for enhanced efficiency and cooler internal operating temperatures. Reliable transformer-based voltage correction circuits maintain 120V nominal output during voltage fluctuations between 89 and 147V. Three levels of voltage stabilization offer targeted response for overvoltages, undervoltages and severe brownouts. Prevents equipment damage and power related performance problems for computer accessories, printers, home theater equipment, a/v components and other sensitive electronic devices. Network-grade AC surge and EMI/RFI noise suppression. Supports loads up to 1800 watts (peak output) or 1500 watts (continuous output), 15A maximum. I have a wall A/C that every now and again trips the breaker
I have a wall A/C that every now and again trips the breaker. So after doing a lot of research and reading reviews I eventually bought this because it is supposed to help with that, and it did. Not one trip since buying this, so it does what it's supposed to and does it well.

Using it as surge protection on Melco Embroidery 16 needle machine. We have a lot of lightning with thunderstorms. Just want to keep it safe and be able to know where a design is if need to shut it down.

This is the second Tripp lite power conditioner I have purchased.
I use this one in a small office setup in the house.

Works great - Easy to set up
We have two high dollar peices of equipment plugged into the power conditioner and have had no issues. It is literally "Plug n Play", nothing to configure. Well designed and solid.

A very useful product
I am a machine technician at a manufacturing facility and we here having problems with the incoming voltage for several of our machines. We ordered two of these items and they solved the problems we were having. I would recommend this item strongly.

Works very well!
I purchased this to use on a computer workbench. I paired it with two Tripp Lite power strips to protect equipment from surges and keep the power conditioned and regulated while I worked on computers. It has worked extremely well so far.

This saved our expensive blenders
When we opened a new retail location the building had high voltage and it was burning up our expensive K-Tec blenders. I added one of these Power Conditioners to each of the 3 units and have not had any voltage problems since.

Don't know if I can trust this unit
I was using this unit to protect my $15,000 commercial embroidery machines. Somehow a voltage drop occurred and damaged two of my machines beyound repair. I filed a claim. They said they tested the unit and found nothing wrong with it and had no explaination for why it didn't protect my equipment. This cost me $30,000. The warranty meant nothing. I don't beleive I'd ever trust this unit again.

Our building kept blowing UPS systems on a regular basis after both controlled and uncontrolled power outages. Our IT company wanted to sell us a $1K upgrade but wouldn't explain to us why only after a few months our UPS kept blowing. I also questioned why we needed a UPS since we use laptops as our workstations. So, after some research I decided to try a power line conditioner before making the 1K investment. I am very happy with this power conditioner along with the added protection of AC surge protection. So far, no issues and saved $920.

Great.
Works great. Pretty hefty unit. Only thing to keep in mind is that it is only rated for 12A continous. It can only do 15A briefly.
So the wattage rating its advertised with is not sustainable.

Great investment!
I have a large 10,000 watt standard portable generator (non-inverter) used to power the house during power outages but the power supply is not stable enough for TVs & Computers. To correct the problem I could spend $10,000 to install a GENERAC auto Switching generator to run the entire house / Spend $3,000 to replace my existing portable generator with an "Inverter Generator" (yeah, they cost 3x as much as a standard unit) or purchase a few TRIP LITE POWER CONDITIONERS to put on critical devices in the house for about $100 each. If this generator ever needs replaced I will upgrade but this is PERFECT for now. I used TRIP LITE when I traveled to Afghanistan & Nigeria and it worked great!

Bought the Tripp Lite 1800 to protect a power sensitive electronic equipment. Easy to use plug and play design. Low profile . Well built minimalist design . does what it is supposed to do best.

I would recommend this product for high-current subwoofers
Works very well, keeping the amperage consistent for amplifiers. Not 5 stars as the TrippLite has no battery backup option built-in.

Fixed the issues with my front-loading Maytag washing machine. Apparently low voltage caused the washing machine control panel to act erratic at times.

Protecting sensitive electronics in an old house
Living in an old house with old wiring, I bought two of these to use on circuits that had sensitive electronics. I can hear the occasional clicks to know when they have engaged. And on one circuit, the high-voltage warning light can sometimes turn on a few times during the day. Overall, it has brought some peace of mind beyond that offered by a surge-protection-only device.

Use on a large HP LaserJet printer - already paid for itself
Use it to condition the power going to a large HP LaserJet printer. It has already done it's job, due to some recent line noise due to storms. Couldn't be happier with this product.
