Great unit!
I needed a voltage regulator for use with my electronic musical equipment at band gigs. Some venues have low voltage levels below 110 volts AC and this can cause equipment failures. With this unit, I don't have to worry about low or high voltages affecting my equipment while I'm playing my electric guitar. Thanks Tripplite!

Glad I found this
I use this to protect some cooking equipment that's hard to find.
Im 50 watts under and it doesn't seem to have an issue. I don't run the full load always so its hard to say if this is ok. Most products don't say hey its actually this amount that you can use despite what they rate it at.
I thought it would be bigger and I'm glad it isn't.
Always not a fan of made in China/PRC.
Glad it comes with an insurance guarantee for equipment. That's one of the main reasons why I also got it.

We needed a line conditioner for our printer which was having an issue with the summer electricity brownouts, etc here in Arizona. We added the product and it helps to a certain extent. I feel safer, but I don't feel that it is 100% the solution. Our lights still flicker when the printer kicks in and when the air conditioner kicks in the printer goes off line.

Another Tripp-Lite Purchase
I had an LC600 for 21+ years of dependable service... but of course nothing lasts forever. So when it gave up the ghost I purchased the slightly larger LC1200. It, too, is now working flawlessly so far and no doubt will continue to give outstanding service and reliability into the far future. Tripp-Lite products are well-engineered and seem to last a lifetime. I would always consider Tripp-Lite as a first option for power backup and line conditioning. It's an investment in protection that makes sense.

To save our sensitive electronics
After having issues with fluctuating voltage, this line conditioner was recommended when the Toyo boiler brain died. The unit immediately revealed a line fault and our loyal and talented electrician was able to correct the problem. We anticipate no more issues with the electronics that are plugged in to the Line Conditioner. Sturdy unit with minimum maintenance required. We are off grid with generator/inverter power system. Not sure if that nullifies the warranty. It is plugged into a house outlet, not directly into the generator. Warranty info not clear.

Long life and cheap insurance for sensitive equipment.
I have two of these units. One I keep my TV and home theater plugged into and the other my stereo system. Both run on different circuits. One unit is over 15 years old and still works as when the occasional thunder boomer rolls through with voltage fluctuations the conditioner will click away indicating it is working. The other I purchased recently when I bought a new stereo receiver for some vintage Klipsch speakers I inherited. My thinking is that this is cheap insurance for items I do not want to lose. But, not too be over confident, I do unplug if I am home and hear the units clicking.

I installed this on top of my fridge to protect it from voltage fluctuations when I turn on the microwave or washing machine. I measured the output voltage and it maintains 120V all the way. When it comes down to 115V, the Line Conditioner changes circuits and the voltage comes back to 120V.

Seems well made and operates as advertised.
Brings up the low line voltage in my old Apt. that's literally at the end of a transmission line. Used for the microwave and toaster, as the other appliances seem fine with 105 Volts in Summer. This unit seems to be an autotransformer with the extra windings switched in with mechanical relays as needed. Filtering seems good. Would be nice to have solid state relays to avoid the occasional clicking sound though.

I bought this upon recommendation of a plumber/HVAC professional to protect the electronics in my furnace and on-demand water heater. When I plugged it in, it did not smoke and the green lights lit up. I have no way to confirm how effective the line conditioner is until we have problems with the electricity being delivered to the house. This is like insurance or other safety devices -- you won't know how good they are until you need them, and there is no way to test their limits ahead of time.

14 Years and Still Going!!
I bought my first LC1200 almost 15 years ago! It is still installed and running like a champ. Since that time I have purchased 3 others, all for my home. I purchased my most recent LC1200 last week (August 2022). These little things are awesome! I have lived in south Florida for 25 years and have never lost a device connected to one of these. What do I have connected, you might ask? Well, one of them is connected to about $10,000 in recording equipment. Another is powering my network. And the last 2 units are connected to 3 desktop computer work stations. All very delicate, electronic devices and the LC-1200 protects all of them, without a miss! Should I even bother to tell you that I highlt, highly recommend these little beasts!!

Very high value in comparison to the specs
Pros: If Tripp Lite being truthful of their specs then this product is a highly good product that I recommend to have on expensive PCs. Visit their site for the full specs because response in time, the voltage range and so forth are very important. It usually detects low voltage when turning on the PC but I believe that's normal and that it's functioning.
Cons: The surge protection on this is rather low (I think it was 1200 Joules) and it's an expensive product so I wouldn't use it without an additional surge protector that is hooked before it in the electrical path/line.
Overall Review: The power supply does work like a voltage regulator but I don't want to stress it too much so I spent extra money on this. I hooked it up to a Tripp Lite 2400 Joules surge protector to increase protection including for the AVR.

Great small line conditioner
We recently had both a router and cable modem fail in a short space of time in our new home, circa 1970's construction. Were worried about the electrical in the room, so we decided to add this to our layout to try to prevent any future issues. So far, so good! Now our router, modem and a file server run off the device and it's given me reassurance that at least the quality of power to these sensitive devices is good.

Strong clean power without the worry disastrous surges
This line conditioner helps provide a steady 120v to my classic guitar tube amps. The amps now seem a bit louder with extra clean headroom, which is what I desired. The only slight issue is that I do get a consistent hum from the amps that seems a bit louder than before without the conditioner. I guess the extra voltage just showcases the quality of the tube circuits but it would be great if there was some sort of feature to reduce noise in the lines. I'm not an electrical engineer and so I am not sure if I am identifying two different issues here, but it would be a nice feature for audio equipment.

Tripp Lite 1200W Handles our Freezer
Installed the 1200W 120 V unit for our critical home freezer. We are so far out on the end of the power grid that the Power Company cannot certify that routine surging will not occur. We do not want the freezer to suffer surges as the compressor does not like the contant voltage swings or intermittant outages due to trees falling on the lines. Tripp Lite works in this application for us in addition to all our electronics.

happy i bought this one.
had this one for close to 10 years using with an epilog laser and never thought much about it until i moved recently. the power at the new place is not as steady so the line conditioner is doing its job when the voltage varies.

Solid solution
The LC1200 line conditioner works perfectly for conditioning all power plugged into it. Our home office no longer trips the circuit breaker that already has a surge/limiter in it. Recommend!

Church Organ
Bought the Tripplite LC1200 on the recommendation of a certified electrician. We were having problems with maintaining continual power to our church organ. Upgraded power cords, newer outlets etc. Nothing seemed to work until the LC1200 was installed directly from an outlet to the organ. All is functioning to date. The LC1200 is working as advertised. Would recommend.

Perfect for protecting expensive laser device
Installed in our dedicated outlet for a laser medical treatment device. This was recommended by the manufacturer. We were surprised when our laser blew a fuse during one of our test-cycles. Fortunately the Tripp Lite was on it, so we were sure it had surge protection as well as the voltage regulation. The laser goes back for repair. The Tripp Lite stays. Solid product!
It would be better in white. The Amazon description said it was "white" but it is black. White is a better aesthetic in our medical setting. Other than that, no problems with performance.

LC1200 is the best!
Just ended up purchasing a LC1200 which, happens to be the 2nd I have purchased (the first went with the divorce. The LC1200 is/was a tool I plug in and forget about,…until we have a brown out, which happens often, then the lights click and I know I am protected. Best $200 ever!
