Oriented prongs
I like this one because of the way the prongs are oriented. I trust this name brand. The lights on it tell me what is going on.

Economical, well made surge protector
I have been very pleased with this unit. In particular, having the plug on the end orientated 90 degrees from the other outlets helps situate larger plugs nicely. The only downside, which was more based on my misinterpretation of the product description made is sound like the wall plug was a low profile wall hugger style, and it is a standard plug. If I could, I'd say 4.5 stars.

These surge protectors really work.
Other surge protectors didn't prevent damage. I bought 3 surge protectors for two computers. modem, printer and television. Right away there was very loud thunder/lightning close to my home and there was no damage to the electronic gadgets.

Make sure a stiff 4 foot cord will work for you!
My old Tripp Lite power strip gave up the ghost after 15 years of daily use powering & protecting my computer system. Why would I NOT buy another one. The old one had a 6 foot cord but the new one only has a 4 foot cord which I thought wouldn't be a problem until it was.
That extra 2 feet which I didn't think would matter did. The power switch is now a long reach under my desk away from me which makes it inconvenient.
The cord is pretty stiff so unless you bolt it down which I can't do as it sits on top of the computer case. it moves very easily.
The models that came with the longer cord were not the same specs as my old one.
I hope this one lasts 15 years!

Great for your electronics
Bought this outlet surge protector for my computer and printer. It is great because of the design. All of the plugs fit without interference with each other. This is a very high quality outlet surge protector.
