Tripp Lite's SMART1300LCDT Line-Interactive Tower UPS System offers voltage regulation, surge suppression and long-lasting battery support for personal computers, network workstations, home entertainment systems and media centers. Internal UPS circuits support entry-level PCs or individual VCR/DVR components during power failures. Prevents data loss, viewing interruptions, lost recordings and loss of component programming. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) circuits continuously regulate brownouts and overvoltages from 92V to 150V back to usable levels, all while maintaining a full battery charge. Offers complete power protection in an attractive all-black cabinet design. Includes 8 built-in outlets, 4 with full battery backup and surge suppression for vital system components and another 4 with surge-suppression only for accessories not requiring battery support. Built-in USB port and included cable enables optional unattended system shutdown without data loss in case of extended power failure. I use this battery backup to protect not only my computer and monitor, but it also protects my internet router in the case of power outages. I used to have a single battery Tripplite system, but this double battery system lasts much longer. I also like the three year warranty.

I purchased a different manufacture's UPS after a battery replacement it could not ride through a voltage dip causing everything to have to reboot. This model has a easy to read display and rides through the power dips. You get what you pay for!

I would like this UPS even more but with lithium batteries. -I cant believe a lithium battery actually costs more commodity wise when accounting for weight and thus frame/mold consideration and of course freight into account with lead acid. With Lithium batteries; this could probably be 1/3 size and 1/10th the weight. But, I am happy it saved my computer and my work from power outages.

This is being used in an industrial application where a computer monitors a production line. Loss of power requires not only computer reboot, but starting a number of S/W apps. I already used it when we had an outage and it lasted almost 3 hours powering a network, router and a monitor. I'm not giving it a 5 because it's very noisy when operating. I muted the beeps that it does every so often, but the fan itself is making a lot of noise in a small home office environment .

This is a great product that the batteries last approx 3 years. I love Tripp Lite quality products and have been using and recommending them to folks for many years. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purchased this unit and it does nothing!!! it came in without any CD or anything so I headed to this website to get drivers for it hoping that it will not be a total waste of money but here I 'am and there is nothing but some update files for device that I installed and it basically shows up in my control panel as a device found /name but i still don't have a menu or anything no battery status well on device I see full battery but soon as I unplug it from outlet everything goes off ad the device does NOTHING !! TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY

Power outage today, unit didn't allow my pellet stove to skip a beat, meaning pellet stove didn't go into shut down mode after the first blink, kept running until I selected manual shutdown and still had 80+ minutes left of runtime. I should have bought this when I first bought my pellet stove, which would have eliminated a whole lot of aggravation and smoke filled room.

Still use Tripp-Lite in my home from computers to music production. This battery backup protects my home entertainment center. Love the 4/4 outputs. After such a long, great track record, I would never consider a different brand. When I recently had new computer built, and added a pricey new monitor to the system, I wanted a UPS that also maintained an even power level supplying all this new tech. After using the very helpful search and compare tools on their website, I chose this unit. I can rest assured that my new expensive equipment is continuously being protected. I liked the product so much that I bought the same model again. After about 17 months, this product failed. Tripp-Lite honored their warranty and sent me a new replacement product. So I'm happy with the UPS and happy with Tripp-Lite.

We've been having some sort of power issue, and the other UPS we had, a different brand, shut down my computer, even though it took the hit and could be started again. This Tripp Lite UPS is properly handling the problem. We still need to find out what's going on with the power, but the Tripp Lite UPS keeps my computer running uninterrupted. Great product!

I was attracted to this model, because of its size and the informational displays and usb charger. I just connected the unit, fired up the pellet stove, pulled the house plug and pellet stove continued its run, uninterrupted, and indicated a 94 min run time left. I was pulling 81W, hair dryer on high pulls 1500W. I am most pleased with this purchase and product.

I have had no issues with this unit and it is working as expected. I use this unit in my home as an electrical gateway for all my audio/visual component in my theatre room. I live in a rural community with frequent and extreme power issues. I get strong surges (and short duration brown-outs) and rapid on/off electrical issues but I do not have long periods without power. Since installing this unit, I've only had one such event and it transitioned without issue. I had a need for two units so I bought this one and the equivalent model from a major competitor. So far they are both working but I like this one better. The competitor unit has easier battery removal/installation but the usability of this unit is better and since I don't plan to remove the battery except to replace/service, that ease is not very valuable.

Some UPS' will only output, when plugged into an active current, and won't switch over to battery backups after an outage. This very much is a portable power station.

Our experience has always been positive and we never had any issues or failures that I am aware of. This particular model is simple to operate, yet has the voltage, amp draw, and hz readout on the display. We plan to continue to use them in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the price! This is a great UPS. I have had experience with Tripplite before when I worked in a server room and had to protect sensitive servers. The unit I bought seems to work great and with all I have installed on it the load is very small. It does get a little warm near the back, but nothing I am worried about.

The Power Alert tool also works well. This is a UPS you can count on! I use it in my home office. The installation is also simple.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this again So far so good. It came in next day. I plugged everything in and all is worked great. Even the product registration was simple with a scan code to go. I like that they put the serial number on top of the unit so you don't have to dig around to find it. We don't have power outages here but we have blips and brownouts. It already fried one piece of equipment so I've put all of my computer and sensitive equipment on this. Now I'm sure everything will be good

I turned it off and connected to the power line and unit started chargeing right away. The unit is plug and play. Is woirking flawlessley and I am about to order a second one.

It works well except the display is not fully functional. Second unit (brand new) powers and protects a laser printer. It works well, including the display. The defective display of the first unit prompts me to withhold one star in my rating but overall both devices fulfill their main purpose.

Shortly after we installed it, we had a power outtage while my wife was working and this baby worked like it should have!

I still checked the product reviews before purchasing and consumers still rate them high. Some didn't like the cooling fan noise, but this unit doesn't have a loud fan. System works great as promised.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It worked perfectly the day after set-up So far, it worked perfectly. It was easy to set up. Plug it in and press the main power button on the lower front. The instructions say it needs to charge its built-in battery for at least 24 hours. Lucky for me I set it up when I did, because the power went off the very next day, but my computer stayed on (for a normal shut-down) and I heard the low beeping alarm from this unit that tells you it has switched to battery power. It's a bit heavy, so I would guess that most home users will put it on the floor like I did. In that case, my only suggested refinement is that the screen should be on the TOP of the unit for easier viewing, rather than having to get down on the floor to see the end of the unit. The serial number, which you need to register and also for the warranty, should be on the order form itself and all the paperwork, as well as labelled more prominently as "serial number" on the box, which it is not. I was not sure that I found the right number, among all the other numbers.

I live in Florida and this is such a lifesaver with all the lightning and random storms that wreak havoc on the power down here. As soon as it arrive about a week later brownout city and not one issue with the equipment or the UPS.

My first use occurred about five days after installation, utility power was off for about an hour, but the Tripp Lite UPS kept the DVR recording. The UPS smelled pretty strongly of that "new electronics" odor for a few days, but it is fine now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 7 YEARS ON ORIGINAL BATTERIES I purchased my first SmartPro LCDT 1500 in December of 2013 for use in my office where I have 2 desktop PC's, 2 monitors, powered speakers and subwoffer, 1 router, 1 modem, a phone, printer and video capture device. I live in a rural area where 1 to 15 min. power disruptions are frequent in the spring and summer months. These power disruptions are particularly frustrating when I'm 1 hour into trying to capture or edit a 2 hour video. My SmartPro LCDT 1500 eliminated these frustrations and WOW, THE BATTERIES LASTED 7 YEARS! I was so pleased with the unit that when the batteries recently gave out after slightly over 7 years, I ordered a new SmartPro LCDT 1500 for my office and replacement batteries for the old one that I will now be using in my garage. Over the years I have tried other UPS's from other manufacturers but none of them come close to the quality of Tripp-Lite.

The facility is prone to black/brownouts and power spikes that cause the fuse to blow out on the table. So far (for about a year) this thing had protected the fuse and we have had interruption-free work!

This is my second tripplite product for my personal computers. When I worked in the plasma industry, my center used one Ups made by Tripplite for every four pheresis machined to safeguard against power failures. These unites perform flawlessly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I recommend this Tripp Lite SmartPro 1500VA 900W 2023-Nov-17: Purchased. 2023-Nov-20: Delivered and installed in a rural home. Since Nov. 20:.1-power outage of 4-hours. 2-outages were short term, and 1-brown out, The new Tripp Lite SmartPro 1500VA 900W worked flawlessly to protect my workstation. It's set to shutdown Windows 10 Pro after 1-minute and 30-seconds when triggered by a power outage which it did on the 3-power loss events, and it maintained up-time on the computer during the brown-out. The local power utility company is upgrading their network so outages are to be expected. The new Tripp Lite SmartPro 1500VA 900W replaces an old SmartUPS 750 which still had battery power but no longer performed its job. The old SmartUPS didn't support the computer from crashing on every power anomaly -- power outages and brown-outs. Another great feature on the Tripp Lite SmartPro 1500VA 900W is Ethernet surge protection. The Power Alert software, Home edition, covers all my basic needs. Over the years, I've found that purchasing a high quality product like this Tripp Lite SmartPro has proven to be a good business decision.
