1500VA online, double-conversion UPS system for critical server, network and telecommunications equipment. 2U rackmount form factor with an installed depth of only 19 inches. Expandable battery runtime with optional BP48V24-2U (limit 1) and BP48V60RT-3U (multi-pack compatible) external battery packs. Full-time sine wave 100, 110 or 120V output with +/-2% voltage regulation. Online, double-conversion Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) actively converts raw incoming AC power to DC, then re-converts output back to completely regulated, filtered AC output. Operates continuously without using battery power during brownouts to 65V and overvoltages to 150V. Highly efficient operation in optional economy mode saves BTU heat output and energy costs. NEMA 5-15P input plug and NEMA 5-15R output receptacles. Network-grade AC surge and noise suppression. Zero transfer time between AC and battery operation. Network management interfaces support simultaneous communications via USB port, DB9 serial port and SNMPWEBCARD slot. Built-in DB9 port offers both enhanced RS-232 enabled monitoring data, plus contact closure monitoring ability. HID-compliant USB interface enables integration with built-in power management and auto shutdown features of Windows and Mac OS X. Supports simultaneous detailed monitoring of equipment load levels, self-test data and utility power conditions via all 3 network interfaces. Includes PowerAlert monitoring software and complete cabling. Emergency Power Off (EPO) interface. This product keeps your computer from crashing due to power glitches.
This unit already saved my system computer from crashing twice in just one week due to power outages. Ordinary UPS's have to switch power which often would drop out our operating program. Love this product.

I specify these at remote transmitter sites.
This product has been a solid performer at remote transmitter sites where I need to protect sensitive electronics. Modern FM transmitters are essentially a computer that controls the RF section. We have not had one problem with these units. The web card access option is an essential feature. I am 100% satisfied.

Powerful UPS with external option.
Great UPs, high quality, external 48v connector for additional battery packs, just check the dimensions, UPS is quite deep, will not fit many network racks but has high power and good backup time.

We use five of these in our small office server room, three to protect the servers and two more to protect switches and routers. Gives excellent battery life for the price, easy to use desktop monitoring software, and standard NEMA 5-15 plugs means we didn't have to install any special wall outlets. Excellent value for the money, definitely recommend! Don't forget to purchase the optional heavy-duty rack ears if installing in a two-post rack.

At my last place of employment, we liked this product so much that it was a no brainer to add a second to our infrastructure. Easily rack mountable and never gave us any trouble.
Once we're up for a refresh here at my current position, we'll be going with Tripp Lite.

Poor quality assurance
I tried these at the insitance of my (then) CDW rep. We bought five of these units. Two required technical support during installation to get them to startup. One was DOA and had to be replaced.

Super solid unit. I use this in my recording studio I know my gear is protected. Only issue fan is a little but other then that it's great

I have bought this product twice, works great.
I had the non-rackmount version of this for over 7 years. It was an absolute champ. I love the double-conversion, as it gives me a good feeling about feeding my equipment a clean 120v 60hz.
It works fine with Network UPS tools, connected to either linux or a TrueNas.
When it did fail, it failed in a way that kept things working. I didn't have backup protection, but not everything died immediately. This gave me enough time to replace it.
I have also put a noctua fan in the back of mine, because it lives in the office with me, and the stock fan is a bit too loud. Noctua fans have a close CFM and a much much quieter noise level.
