The Transition Networks SPF (mini-GBIC) Transceiver Module is tested to offer superior networking performance. It works with Gigabit Ethernet data link protocol and enables a data transfer rate of up to 1 Gb/s. It comes in a plug-in module form factor and works with standard mini-GBIC slots on most switches. This 0.66-watt module spans distances up to 328 ft. and includes an Ethernet 10Base-T/100Base-TX/1000Base-T - RJ-45 mini-GBIC connector. It is designed to be used with Gigabit Ethernet Switches and Routers, Fiber Channel Switch Infrastructure, xDSL Applications and Metro Edge Switching.
