TP-LINK's Archer C7 comes with the next generation Wi-Fi standard - 802.11ac, 3 times faster than wireless N speeds and delivering a combined wireless data transfer rate of up to 1.75 Gbps. With 1.3 Gbps wireless speeds over the crystal clear 5 GHz band and 450 Mbps over the 2.4 GHz band, the Archer C7 is the superior choice for seamless HD streaming, online gaming and other bandwidth-intensive tasks.

The Archer C7 operates over both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, ensuring amazing wireless performance. Simultaneous dual band offers you the flexibility of two dedicated networks - with multiple times the bandwidth for your needs. Simple tasks like sending e-mails or web browsing can be handled by the 2.4 GHz band while bandwidth intensive tasks like online gaming or HD video streaming can be processed by the 5 GHz band - all at the same time.

TP-Link Archer C7 AC1750 Wireless Router is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 95.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great home router I use this at home and have multiple devices as well as a lot of wifi smart home devices connected. Works flawlessly. It is definitely not short of features and programmability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent speed at a reasonable cost. I replaced an older router with this unit and the difference is night and day. I'm running 2 Apple TV's, 2 iPads, and 2 smartphones. Nothing bogs down and streaming on 2 Tvs at the same time has with no issues

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do NOT buy!!!! I spent hours trying to get this work. It will not recognize all my devices and when it did; the internet won't work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mystery router, but mostly great! Runs great thru cat6, wirelessly locked into 5ghz it clocks at cat6 speeds with T4U adapter and dlink DWA-182 adapter. However, with a brand new Linksys wusb6300 that ran fine with other routers and equal to the T4U, it ran at one/sixth the speed, exactly. A mystery since both use realtek RTL8812AU chipsets. I have latest tplink firmware in the router, and latest for adapters. The Linksys is on a w7 o/s, as is the T4U, the dwa182 is on w10.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Home Router FamilyMan here again, reviewing a new WiFi router from TP-Link, which I was given as part of a free sample program. Please note, that I always review these products from the standpoint of a family man using multiple laptops, TVs, IoT devices (such as outlets, lights, and other home automation devices). This particular device, the AC1750 is a very good mid-tier router. If you are looking for a well priced medium sized home router, this device fits the bill quite nicely. It has quick WPS connection, parental controls, and security. But what's more important is the ease of setup using TP-Links Tether App which also allows you to have a simple interface whether on the PC or using your Mobile phone. The AC 1750 also supports dual mode 2.4 GHz and 5GHz. But some of you may not know why this is important. These dual channels can be used to link multiple types of devices simultaneously using different bandwidth consumption. For example, connecting your Internet TV or your Laptop, you would want to use the higher streaming capability of the 5GHz. But when you are connecting simple IoT home automation devices you can use the 2.4GHz. Also of note, the 2.4GHz transmits further (reaches further) out for devices across multiple rooms. Or in my case, I set my wife and her laptop and phone on the 5.GHz and me and the boys on the 2.4GHz, why you ask? Because I want to make sure she never gets slowed down by the boys playing some latest game on their gaming console (yes, the 5.GHz is made for gaming, but a Happy Wife is a Happy Life). I recommend this device for those with families of children not yet using very high bandwidth gaming devices, especially if you have bought the average or normal internet plans from your provider. However, if you have bought the high-end plan, this will allow you to pretty much do everything you want anyways...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Speeds, Easy to Configure This is a wonderful SOHO router that will provide adequate speed for almost any average home or small office and is simple to set up even for those who have minimal experience in doing so. The router comes at a very reasonable cost considering the fairly lengthy feature set. The inclusion of AC technology is also a plus, especially for crowded apartment complexes. Submitted as part of a free sample program.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No QoS setting, no way to prioritize Chromecast streaming Chromecast sees strong signal (4 bars) from the Archer C7, but streaming video frequently pauses to buffer. Supposedly QoS settings could resolve this, but the Archer C7 doesn't appear to have any QoS options.
