The Robotis Dream kits come with everything students need to create 4-legged and 2-legged walking robots. Suitable for kids between the 3rd and 6th grade, the STEM robotics kits introduce the students to scientific principles and basic concepts of electric power, force, infrared, microphone sensors, center of gravity and more. The recommended student-to-kit ratio is up to 2:1. The R+ Design app helps students assemble their robot correctly, while the R+Task app lets them control the robot with simple commands. The apps are compatible with iOS®, Android®, macOS® and Windows®.
The robotics learning kits offer 12 lessons for a total of over 24 hours of learning. They come with a rechargeable Li-ion battery and a workbook. The workbook contains robot-related exercises to help students improve their problem-solving skills through simple experiments and explain the principles behind the kits. There are 12 example robots to build, and each of them introduces the students to a different concept.
