It keeps it in place too and I love how it has the laptop sitting higher. It works out perfect. I have recommended it to friends and family

The cushion on the bottom is super comfortable on my lap. The fans are very quiet during use which is great when doing conference calls. The adjustable stand allows me to use while standing or seated. It is compatible with both my work and home laptops. Plug in is easy via the USB port. Absolutely great product for those long days with no overheating of my laptop. Also the stand fits easily in my laptop bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super quiet This cooling mat was really nice. It folds down flat and can easily be popped up to use. My laptop sat nicely and easily on top. When the laptop isnt on top the fan can be heard but as soon as the laptop is placed on it it is so quiet I forget it's on. It was simple to plug in and use. The only problem I found was that i wished the stand secured and held in place. It easily plopped apart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quite fan The chill mat fan was very quiet, plugged in easily to my computer, and kept constant till I unplugged. The stand had three adjustable heights the two lower ones worked OK but when I put it up to the highest one, my computer just slid right off I have an average HP laptop, Maybe it would work fine with a iPad. Also, the padding was very very thin. All it was was cloth on top of metal and I could feel it on my legs.

My Targus LAPTOP CHILL MAT has maximized the cooling features and angle enhancements. I can plug in my chill mat. It powers two different 1900RPM under fans. The USB port is the perfect length, so there are no drapey wires. The fan has a faint sound. I can adjust the viewing angles to three different tilts. The padded under mesh is smooth and soft. They formed the under trey with the mesh in a rectangular form to distribute the weight evenly while maximizing the cooling space. It holds a universal laptop fit of up to 18 inches. My computer is raised a bit higher now. I use a wrist pad in front of it to help meet the height. It would be an enhancement if they could build it with a pull-out wrist arch. Overall I'm impressed with my Targus LAPTOP CHILL MAT.

It works as described and helps keep my laptop from overheating. There is a padded bottom, so it can be used comfortable on a lap. I am very happy with this product.

This computer stand by Targus has greatly help keep my computer cooler when working. I like being able to adjust the stand to 3 different angles, which makes it more comfortable on my hands. The bottom cushion is nice especially if I want to have my computer on my lap. This product seems to be very well made and I like that the fan is very quiet. Overall, I am very happy with this Chill Mat for my computer.

Props my laptop up while cooling it down. I love that it’s adjustable. Doesn’t take up anymore room than a regular laptop stand but provides so much more than the basic kinds! Also love that its grey and black and matched my aesthetic.

This adjustable stand work great for me, make it feel natural to work on. I love this product and I highly recommend it to anyone looking at this to buy.

The noise level is minimal but obvious and it does the job when I am working 12+ hours at a time. No worries about overheating.

I don't have to worry about my laptop overheating or anything. I also love that the fans are very quiet and don't make noise. And the cushion on the bottom is very comfortable on my lap.

Sometimes, if I've been typing for so long in one position, my wrists need a change in elevation and the way they rest. Introducing this stand!! It has multiple levels that it can sit the laptop at, and when I would need to change the level for ease of my wrists or just based on where/how I was sitting, this stand made that so easy. Definitely love this stand!

It is raised off the desk so that I am not hurting my back and it cools the laptop off so that it doesn't get hot. Works great and plugs in easily to the laptop.
