?? Perfect for traveling for work and fun!
This backpack is a game changer for those of us who have to make long trips to see family, friends or for work! I adore that the backpack back pocket folds down flat so TSA can check my electronics quickly and I really can’t imagine living without my new favorite clothing compartment with the clothing security strap (which has made packing clothes a ton breeze!).
There is tons of storage space and so many side pocket for all your bits and bobs which makes it easy to pack for a variety of needs.
The straps are very comfortable and the bag itself is surprisingly light for how strong it is. The cup holder compartments expand too which is great as I have little and biggg water bottles.
This has also been a big help when traveling with my little one as I can bring a ton of diapers, clothing and bottles in the deep storage compartment and then lighter items like toys, pacifiers and burp clothes in the various pockets! Over all this is a really great backpack!??

Targus for the win
The backpack is definitely suited for technology and portability. Targus is a high quality company that put together a great product for people on the go. The backpack itself is light and very well designed. It may have more features than I need but it will easily accommodate a larger electronic device- maybe several. I have a larger laptop that I have not been able to use and now I can have both my current laptop and new larger laptop with me. This has many straps, pockets and buckles to adjust to whatever you need to accommodate. I appreciate the ability to review this product for Influenster & Targus. I was gifted this in exchange for an unbiased review.
The backpack has amazing cushion to protect against any damage and I really appreciate the internal organization. It states that it is checkpoint friendly which is so helpful if you are someone that travels and worries about this. The main compartment expands to accommodate clothing if you want a one and done. It retails for $89 USD

My go to bag when traveling
This 17" Voyager EXP Travel Backpack is very sturdy; it's made of high-quality padded material. It's very spacious with plenty of compartments for a tablet, a laptop,
And a portable speaker in one fit. The main compartment can expand from 27 L to 30 L. I took this backpack on my camping trip, and I was able to fit my electrics and have my water bottle and my identification card in the pocket on the shoulder strap. I also like that I can add a lock to the lockable zippers, and it fits comfortably on my shoulder. This backpack is my go-to when traveling or camping.

Love this backpack! It is absolutely amazing for all my gear. It’s big enough for my 15 inch laptop, my headphones, and all my other goodies! The straps are comfortable, they have padding and feel very top notch. The water bottle holder features a zipper for different sized bottles, there’s two different handles to hold the bag from. There’s lots of pockets and nooks in this thing. It’s so nice! The bag is made of material that is easy to wipe dirt off and seems very durable. I am very happy with this bag!

High Quality Travel & Work Backpack
As a tech girly who frequently travels to NYC with laptop and equipment in tow, I LOVE this backpack! It is great for my work trips and makes my back comfortable. It holds a lot and looks practical. Not a fashion statement but I would rather have something strong and functional. Highly recommend.

Best backpack
This back pack is incredible! There are SO many pockets! It's an organized dream! It comfortably holds my laptop, my additional screen, the charger, a keyboard, headset and all of the associated wires and accessories, and I STILL have room for more. On top of that, it's surprisingly not bulky! I'm so impressed that I'll be getting my husband one for travel.

This travel backpack made byTargus US . It is a 17 inch voyager EXP travel backpack. It was given to me in exchange for my honest review and let me just say this thing is made so well it’s so strong. The material is amazing. It’s got a ton of compartments. It’s super for the pool for hiking for anything I mean, it has so many pockets and so many places and it stands up that has like a little feet where it will stand up if you have enough stuff in it it’s very nice. It’s not cheaply made by no means it’s good security. The straps for your back are comfortable.

Awesome for anybody or a tech on a go
So I was super excited to be selected for this item. It’s a really cool laptop backpack you’re able to put not just your laptop so many other things on the go I’m not a very tech girl so I did give this to my boyfriend as he is a nerd for all technologies, so this was perfect for him. The weight of the backpack is perfect. It has so many pockets and places to hide your wires and a snug place to keep your laptop, safe and sound and it’s super easy to assess us anything you need on the go very excited and happy to receive this.

I was so excited to claim the Targus 17” Voyager EXP Travel Backpack, and it does not disappoint! If you are looking for a bag that balances work and travel perfectly, this is it.
The Highlights:

Absolutely love this bag! It’s a sleek, professional design. It is perfect for taking along on business or travel. It has so many pockets to help keep you organized. There is a pocket on the top for my charger and my keys so I am not digging for them down in the bag. I love the padded compartment for my computer. So much room for other things in addition to my work items. Easily stay organized and have everything I need at my fingertips. Highly, highly recommend this bag!

I received the Targus US 17” Voyager EXP Travel Backpack to review, and I have to say it’s really nice. I like all the pockets that you can fit extra stuff into. I like having the extra strap towards the bottom to make traveling easier. It fits my laptop as well as the cooling deck I have. Plus, it fits close and it is comfortable. And I like how it distributes the weight.

This is a very nice, roomy backpack. It fits my 17' laptop with no problems and still has room for other items. Material and bag seem very sturdy and well-made. I love the extra compartments and the fact that it’s expandable. I think from the quality the backpack will last you a while.

Perfect for flying
It's so easy to go thru TSA with the computer pocket on this bagpack!!! It's padded, and it has a section for the laptop and a section for documents, awesome for us peeps working and traveling. Bonus points for being waterproof.
Besides having every pocket you might need, it also has a passport holder and RFID protection.
It's light, comfortable, you forget you're wearing it.

Functional and Durable. Great Travel Pack
Very functional compartments. Perfect for my 2 to 3 day buisness trips when I don't want to put a bag in the overhead compartment. I carry 2 to 3 days of clothing, my laptop, and normal travel accessories. Having the bag open flat is a game changer for finding what I need. I wasn't 100% on the color from the online photos, but it looks great in person, and gets rid of the "black abyss" that most bags have. This is my 3 Targus bag in over 20 years, so I know it will last.

Very nice, but too small
Really a nice and well thought out backpack. It was my second favorite though, as it is just too small. If this were a little bit bigger it would have been a keeper. Unfortuantely I am sending it back.

Excellent storage, design, sturdiness
We needed to replace my husband's rugged Targus computer case, which must be close to two decades old - so we checked for an updated version and found this backpack. We are so happy with it. We decided to go ahead and order one for me as well, and it was a good decision. All the zippered compartments and pockets make organizing tech while traveling much easier. I'm looking forward to flying with this - because handling the laptop issue will be so much easier.
How much do I like this bag? So much that I showed it off to my coworker the first day I brought it to work (She wrote down the Targus brand name so she can look for one of her own.)

Much smaller than expected
Bought this product a few weeks ago and have been using since. The product is well constructed but is much smaller than expected. When compared against other backpacks I have had with similar listed capacity, this bag fits much less and feels small in comparison.

Nearly Ideal Business Backpack
I bought this to replace a Targus CityGear 2 backpack I used & enjoyed for 7 years. It was time for a new one and this appeared to be a significant upgrade, which it is. As far as I can tell, the materials and build quality are all first rate. The interior is surprisingly spacious for a 30L rating, most of the compartments are well designed, and the orange interior makes it easy to find things. I particularly like the zippered admin area just behind the front zipper pocket which keeps frequently used items well organized and easy to access.
The straps and handles are comfortable and the padding feels nice on my back. The laptop compartment is easy to access and well protected, and opening it up for TSA is a breeze. The tablet pocket on the opposite side also works great for storing documents. The retention strap above the water bottle pocket is a nice touch for keeping your umbrella held in tight from snagging on stuff. The bottom is durable & well padded and if you pack it properly it will stand up on it's own just fine.
However, IMO there are a few things that could have been done better. My biggest disappointment is that the little zippered pouch opposite the water bottle holder seems to have been designed for access only while you're wearing it and backwards when you're not. This makes access to the zipper almost impossible while the pack is sitting in my passenger seat. So I tend to use it for things I don't need very often. Also I've discovered, unless you fill the backpack to near capacity in each compartment, the exterior can tend to cave in a bit and not look quite as professional as in the photos. However, I'd say as long as you fill it to about 2/3 it will still look pretty good.
I tend to just use one strap and sling it over one shoulder, but I have noticed the straps tend to loosen pretty easily. So if you like to wear it on both shoulders, you may find yourself tightening the straps often. I added velcro straps to keep these from dangling around so much, but I wish they would have included something from the factory to make them work better.
Finally, while I like the idea of the semi-hidden sunglasses/phone pocket at the top, the zipper pull is so small that it can be hard to find quickly.
All in all a very good value for the price and I do highly recommend this model for business/tech use if you can overlook these minor complaints. ~DPL

Nice look and great organization
This bag is awesome. I've been looking for one that can handle multiple laptops while protecting them. The two sleeves fit my 2 15" screen (1 laptop, 1 monitor) and there is still space for my 17" laptop in middle of them. I'm excited to use it for travel and appreciate how much easier it is to take it out for TSA without everything else falling off the bag. The design is also sleek so I 100% approve the purchase so far.
