Cost was too high to replace again. I don't remember online description including how slippery/not grippy about this case is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not worth it. This is the cheapest OtterBox I have ever seen. Extremely thin, kind of brittle, and the design is a sticker. It is not part of the actual case. I bought this case straight from OtterBox, and when I received it, the sticker was already peeling in one corner.

By the time I traded in my iPhone 12 Mini, my old Otterbox case was falling apart from so many drops, but the phone itself was in pristine condition and looked brand new upon trade in. The Pro Symmetry Series Case fits well on the phone, though the material is a bit slippery so it slides around easily. I was hoping for a rubber grip like my previous case, but using the case with a phone strap works fine for me to make it easier to hold.

I love the slimness of the design while having confidence in its drop protection. The only thing I’m disappointed in is that the color in the picture on the website was a much noticeably different hue than what it looks like in person (the High Desert Marble color) .The brownish hue is a lot more of a vibrant red orange/salmon in person.

The case needs to be better engineered in this area. This case is worthless in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality has declined I had this same case for my iPhone 13. It was excellent and protected my iPhone through many hard drops. The new case for the iPhone 16 does not feel nearly as protective. The material that wraps around the front is thinner and slick. When I sit the phone face down on a table, it slides around. The previous case was thicker in this area, wrapped around the front better, and did not slide around at all.

Other than the color, they looked the same, but this one did not have the lightly "grippy" edge to keep it from sliding when laid on its face. The edge is also les flexible making it more difficult to instal and remove. Other than that…it looks good, protects well and…it’s Otterbox.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! Better than Apple’s Great case, better than Otterbox’s 15 case and WAY better than apple’s. Apple’s is slippery, and the new camera button is annoying (inadvertent presses all the time). Because this just has a cutout for the new camera button, far fewer accidental presses. Also this is less slippery than Apple’s case and better protection! This is also better than the 15 case from OtterBox because the white MagSafe strip magnet doesn’t come off when I take my phone out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed. Incredibly disappointed with this case. I have had so many symmetry series cases for various phones and have loved them for many years. This case is different than all of the others. It's a cheaper plastic - hard and thin and difficult to grip. There is a seam along the back where the sides meet the back panel which is sharp. It's uncomfortable to hold and to slide in and out of the pocket. Worst of all is the opening for the camera button. It makes it asymmetric and feels very strange to hold for typing or scrolling since there is a big divot that no iPhone case has ever had for many years. Bought a $1200 phone and this makes it feel cheap. Wanted to love it, as I have been a loyal symmetry user for probably 10+ years. Sadly this design change has lost me as a customer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worst customer service and bad case Came out defective with the hole to plug the charge moved to the side, so I can’t charge my phone or connect it to anything with the case , I could not use it and had to go buy a different case, I asked the company for my money back and it has been a nightmare, first they required proof so I send them the photos and after I did that I had to send the product back, si I had to package the product and drive to drop it off at a ups, and now have to wait a couple weeks until they can give me my money back! And the they had the audacity to tell me I am going to he charged for the shipping cost OF RETURNING a DEFECTIVE PRODUCT! When I should’ve been compensated for my wated time and money… worst customer servide ever, I will never buy from them again, plus the case does not protect the side of the phone were the camera button is and it doesn’t provide much protection to the glass and back camera it leaves almost no room on the front sides to absorb impact. For a 50 dollar case I would’ve expected a much better quality product and a good customer service.

Had to return the case and I went with a different brand, even though I’ve been a faithful otterbox customer for years.
