If your looking for a headset loom else where, stereo is best for gaming first pair was damaged, secound pair was good. Dells customer services was amazing.

Great headset
It’s a lot of wires, but cable management is easy. The mic quality is wonderful, and the headset is crisp and loud. The RGB on this headset is nice, if you don’t like rgb, you can turn it off. And mic talkback is nice to hear.

Have a slightly large noggin or ears, avoid these!
Sound quality and controls are very good, but the (non-expandable) headband and earcups are WAY TOO SMALL for my noggin. If you're an adult, you better think twice about ordering these without first trying them on in a store - I know, yuck, but it may save you some pain and agony later.
I've tried larger aftermarket earcups, and that helped with the that issue somewhat, but nothing can solve the lack of an expandable headband (no, the stretch-band doesn't even come into play). To fit the earcups on my ears comfortably, I have to set the metal headband on the top of my skull. I tried so many different aftermarket options that I ran out of time to return these, which is what I should have done in the first place.

cant beat it for the money
so far this is the best gaming head set I've ever owned, the sound is second too none and very comfortable. still learning the GAMEDAC but its a nice platform too plug into, this is a wireed head set thats worth every penny.

Great Soundi. Proprietary Plugs Are Hassle.
Dell service and delivery was terrific. The SteelSeries Arctis Pro Headset is really comfortable, and sound terrific. The only I thing I don't like is the proprietary plug design that SteelSeries incorporates. As someone who disconnects his headset after use, when shutting down my computer, I find it was difficult to connect the plugs to both the headset and the GameDAC. SteelSeries needs to seriously think about a redesign here.

Best gaming headset on the market
Hands-down, the best sounding gaming headset on the market, AND when factoring in the DAC with ESS it's probably the best overall headset value for other uses like listening to music. I've tried (and returned most of the so-called high-end gaming headsets. They all work fine with their noise cancelling and surround sound features, but where most fail is in overall sound quality. And that's where the SteelSeries Arctis Pro excels. Don't hesitate to pick these up for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
