The SATDOCK5U3ERHard Drive Duplicator and Docking Station lets you clone a 2.5in or 3.5in SATA hard drive (HDD) or solid-state drive (SSD)tofiveother SATA drives simultaneously, as a standalone device.The duplicator also lets you erase up to 5 drives, without a host connection.
You can also use the duplicator as a 5-bay HDD / SSDdocking station, by connecting it to a host computer system through either USB 3.0 or eSATA. With support for high-capacity drives (tested with up to 6TB), this is a simple and cost-effective way toboost your data storage/backup capabilities.

Did not worked properly once!
I tried all combinations, went through the book to duplicate HD.
Did not worked once!
Freezes betwwen 20% and 70% of the job every time.

Warning! Does not support 4Kn drives
It took a while to realize that this product does not support 4Kn drives, only those that support 512n or 512e. No updates are available, so if you need to duplicate an enterprise drive that is 4Kn format you need a different product.
Otherwise it is a good product, we own 10 of them and so far only one fan has failed. The fans are tricky to replace, but if you take your time and keep track of all the screws it is possible.

Does a quick job with SSD
I did have one unit that was giving me a bit of trouble in the beginning (bought 2). I called tech support and they were not able to fix the issue so they sent me a new one. The unit does work, but will not support anything other than Mech and SSD drives. I needed to clone multiple M.2 Nvme but the unit is not compatible. Overall a good unit, i run a 500 plus outfit, and they've been good so far! (5 Months) D I'd buy again, we've tried a few Startech products.
