Add seven USB 3.0 ports and two USB fast-charge ports to your computer. This 7-port USB 3.0 hub functions as a traditional data hub for your computer, as well as a two-port charging station for your mobile devices. Now you can easily add seven USB 3.0 ports and two 2.4A fast-charging ports to your MacBook, laptop or desktop. It's the perfect addition to any home, office or hot-desk environment.

Two 2.4 amp dedicated charging ports (DCP) provide fast charging for your smartphones, tablets and other USB-charged devices. The charging ports are located on the top of the hub for quick and easy access.

The charging and data ports work simultaneously, so you can conveniently fast-charge your mobile devices while still using your USB 3.0 devices. The hub will also charge devices even if your computer is disconnected, in sleep mode, or turned off.

Increase your productivity by adding seven USB 3.0 (also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1) ports to your workstation. With support for data transfer rates up to 5Gbps, the hub is perfect for connecting high-bandwidth devices such as external hard drives, printers, scanners, high-resolution webcams, video cameras, and more.

This USB 3.0 hub is the ideal accessory for your laptop or desktop computer. Its small footprint takes up little space on your desktop, and there's plenty of room between each USB port, making it easy to plug and unplug the devices you use most often. Plus, you can set the hub up in seconds, with no driver installation required.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought a dud! I bought this product and no power is getting to the device. I tried the USB ports on my PC, and they are all good. I plugged in the USB devices one at a time -- no power is reaching the device. I'd like my money back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nothing works - no charging - no power to devices Plugged the unit in and hit the power button - a couple of the lights flashed blue then went dead. the 2.5amp power sockets dont charge any devices the 7 usb3 ports do not work or recognise any devices that work in other units. No blue power lights on device - unsure if device dead or power supply. product was going to be used to charge a tablet and mobile phone and support several usb devices - nothing too over the top but it just doesnt work. Unsure if defective product or just a poor device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not as advertised It works but it is advertised incorrectly. I purchased this model of hub because the pictures show that it does not have a block adapter. A block adapter does not fit into my baby proofing cover. I was very disappointed when I opened the box and found a large block adapter. I was really annoyed when the retailer I purchased it from refused to allow me to return it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great in theory, perhaps I got a dud... I bought this to use as an all-in-one power supply & hub for an ultra low power Raspberry Pi 4 based server/NAS/DVR. During set up I noticed that one of the charge ports felt a bit loose (i.e. the USB plug felt a bit wobbly when plugged in), though it did still seem to work. As I only needed one of the charging ports (to power the Pi) I just used the other socket which felt more solid. Then two 2.5" USB hard drives as well as a USB-powered TBS DVB tuner were connected to the hub. Everything worked perfectly for just under 4 months, and then everything suddenly stopped working. My voltmeter revealed that the power supply had failed. I cannot tell if the hub or power supply was the root cause of the failure, the wobbly port could possibly have been a symptom of some internal damage. In any case it has now been returned to the retailer and with the refund I have just bought a smaller Startech USB 3 hub (HB30A3A1CST) and a separate power supply for the Pi, which overall works out a bit cheaper, but with less room for expansion. I thought my original plan was a neat solution that minimised power adaptors and offered me plenty of future expansion options. I don't believe anything was being used incorrectly. The overall max power consumption of this system (would have been about 22W, which given the 48W power supply should have been no trouble). Also note that I'm aware the Raspberry Pi 4 spec sheet states that: "A good quality 2.5A power supply can be used if downstream USB peripherals consume less than 500mA in total", but given that in my setup the hub was providing all the power for the downstream peripherals, a 2.4A supply should also have been plenty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible Unit Purchased a couple of months ago have just tried to hook up. Apparently someone had this before and it didn't work for them as it had several loose plugs in the box and 0 instructions. Terrible repackaging. No plug works with unit and does not get power. Now I cannot seem to find the box it came in. I will find it but either way I'll never make another purchase fro Dell. A shame as it's all I've used since 2004.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does exactly what it is supposed to do. I needed something that was smart enough to handle memory sticks, hard drives, mice, keyboards and cell phone simultaneously. Other products I tried would not allow my laptop to properly I.D. the devices plugged in - this one does. Two (minor drawbacks: it is difficult to tell when it is on or off unless something is already plugged into it, the slots on the back for wall mounting only allow a horizontal mounting position.
