Our AV rack cabinet provides 12U of storage space in a sleek secure cabinet for storing EIA-310 compliant 19” rack mount devices such as telecommunication and AV equipment. The rack creates a robust storage solution, supporting a total load capacity of 1764 lbs (800kg).

Hassle-Free Equipment Installation
With adjustable mounting rails, this 12U floor standing network cabinet allows you to easily change the rail depth to up to 29.1” (740mm), ensuring wide compatibility with standard rack-mountable computer components. To keep your server room tidy, this 19-inch wide electronics enclosure leaves added depth for cable and power management behind your audio, video, and IT equipment.

The floor and ceiling panels can also be removed for customization, and the rack features grounding lugs that enable you to ground your equipment for added protection.

Securely Protect Your Equipment While Still Being Able to See It
To ensure you have full visibility of your equipment while securely locking it up, this data cabinet has a stylish glass window on the front door.

The rack also has removable side panels with independent locks quick-release mechanisms that enable you to easily access your equipment while still keeping it secure.

Ensure Your Equipment Is Running at an Optimal Temperature
The rear door of the stereo equipment rack is mesh, and the front door is vented, working together to increase airflow to provide passive cooling.

The top ceiling panel features square venting holes that are cage nut compatible, which provide mounting points that enable you to add additional equipment at the top of your rack.

The RK1236BKF is backed by a lifetime StarTech.com warranty with free technical support.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid constructionWe purchased this rack for a remote office to house a Dell R630 and some other components, they fit just fine with zero fuss. The only complaints I had with this product was it arrived with two dents on the side panels from shipping and also had one screw hole on the top that was not fully drilled through.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome RackBought this a year ago and its built like a tank. All doors are removable, and the swinging doors are fantastic. The top panel has really nice brush cutouts for running cabling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Built like a tankOver the years I have dealt with many different rack systems, thou not the largest, this by far is the most sturdiest built piece of equipment that I have ever seen.Really the only con that I could find while putting the cabinet together, was the treads of some of the bolt and screw holes were not cleaned properly after painting which makes for difficult screw inserting. This can be fixed easily enough by the end user if they insert the screw before hand, on certain parts like the side posts, to help alleviate the chances of cross threading. If your looking for something small enough to fin inside a small office, to drop a couple servers and more into this in my opinion is the perfect solution.
