Fits like a Glove!
Waited for a while for a case to come out for my 14 inch MBP 2021 but it finally arrived. The fit was great and I like the texture not a fingerprint magnet so far so good!

Speck cases are the only laptop cases I will ever buy!
I own a 2017 MacBook Pro, & immediately purchased a Speck hard case. Not only has it lasted this long, but it has also kept my laptop in *mint* condition. It is simply one of the best purchases I've made. I love my case so much that I thought I'd share my experience with a friend — she was looking to buy a hard case for her 2021 MacBook Pro 14in., & I surprised her with one for her birthday.
All in all — if it's not a Speck case, don't buy it!

Not like use to be
The top part fits fine but the bottom proportion has movement since they don't have clips on all corners, like it did on my 2010 case , causing it to move which over time can mark your MacBook

Durable, aesthetic, clean
I was completely in love with my case the moment I opened the package. The shell felt so firm and durable - a quality product all around. The slightly frosted shell gives my Macbook a clean look, while also allowing for creativity with stickers that are visible through the shell. I would recommend it to anyone!

Beautiful blue color excellent fit for my new MacBook Pro 14". Feels really good also. Only problem is that I just noticed a hairline crack on the corner of the top cover. Have no clue how it happen as I've been embarrassingly babies this computer. Is this unusual?

Poor Quality
I bought a Speck computer cover for my 2014 Macbook and it lasted 7 years without any problems. The case I bought for my 2021 Macbook cracked within the first 6 months on all 4 corners and broke in less than a year. I almost never move my computer from my bedroom, it sits on a lap desk 98% of the time and isn't lifted, dropped, etc. So, for it to break so soon with minimal movement after having my previous laptop cover last so long is disappointing.

I was very content with my earlier case for the 13 inch MacBook Pro. The 14 inch case looks and feels great too. However it starts to fall apart in the corners after about 6 months. I'm now into my second 14 inch case which shows the same defects after 3 months of regular use.

Case has broke from all corners within 4 months
I've had different cases, and some cases make squeaky sounds when closing or holding. This speck item does not make any squeaky sounds, however the corners have broken within 4 months of use.

Horrible Case, Breaks Easily DO NOT BUY
Used this case for Over 6 months now, however after only a month the Corners started to have cracks on them , I only put laptop into my backpack so no rough use, recently the WHOLE Corner Broke and chipped away. Definitly wouldnt buy again

Broke after 3 month
I had high hopes for this product but after three months it has cracked. My MacBook Pro has not fallen so I am not sure why it has cracked.
Going to reach out to customer service to see if they replace the case.

Good case, didn't know it was matte
I've had a clear Speck skin for years and when I finally upgraded my laptop just wanted to stick with the same brand. When I clicked the clear option at buy, nowhere was it mentioned that it had a matte finish, so be aware.

Perfect protection!

Not Wholly Captivated
I was finally able to cover my MacBook after receiving the case. Unfortunately, the feel and finish of the item is not what I anticipated receiving. It is matte finish that has a refined rough feel. However, the primary motivation behind getting this Speck's product is because of the iPhone case that I have for my work phone. The soft, supple, rubbery feel that supports my grip and a potential and has a fantastic secure hold around the phone is not comparable in the MacBook case. Unfortunately, because it does not fit as securely as after taking three months to decide to purchase it, I am uncertain whether I would recommend this for others to buy. Also keeping in mind, the limited colors that are available for the 14 is another motivation toward considering another option that you could potentially try in person before selecting this SmartShell MacBook Pro 14"(2021) Case.

There are black specks painted in my blue case.(maybe how they got their name) the case started stress cracking on the lid corners in 1 weeks time. First and last case I'll ever buy from Speck.

SmartShell Exactly What I Needed
I travel a lot with my Macbook and needed a good product to cover my computer. It arrived quickly and installed easily. I like having the clear plastic instead of a skin or different color. So far, so good! I've had Speck products in the past and don't ever remember having issues with them!

POOR PRODUCT
Very poor product. Material used is cheap for such an expensive product. I'm really disappointed with how poor made this is. After just 2 weeks since I installed the case on my macbook pro, the corners at the top started to crack. and I didn't even bring my laptop out and about yet!!!! REALLY DISAPPOINTING AND TERRIBLE! I really would not recommend this product to anyone.
