A great buy with lifetime warranty guarantee.
I have had several speck cases for since, maybe, 5 years. I liked speck iPhone cases because they are not bulky and comes with lifetime warranty. The cases I had in the past would have wear and tear with minor crack on the bottom. Speck sent me replacements at no charge. The case on the bottom side is typically weakest part because there are 3 openings for the speakers and charging port.
Recent purchase was my second presidio case. This case I have now has diagonal ridges on both sides on the back. It does not feel slippery.

This case is great! It fits my iPhone 12 Pro perfectly and the blue color goes great with the midnight blue iPhone color. The grippy things on the side make it very easy to hold on to. I like that the material is kindof a mix between a hard plastic and a softer silicon-y case; it feels great. I feel very confident that my phone is well protected in this case.

Really happy with this case. Color looks great (easy to spot in a dark car or purse), comfortable to hold and like the feel of the grooves/ridges. Presidio2 is a big upgrade, just like the iPhone 12
I got this case for my new iPhone 12 and it's fantastic. It fits snugly, is thick enough to protect the phone but is also thin enough to not get in the way, and is very comfortable to touch and hold. It's a big upgrade over the older Presidio Grips as it's 1 solid piece and is soft touch, and adds to my phone experience. Very happy to be a repeat Speck customer!

MagSafe Capabilities are Minimal
While I have used Speck Cases for years, this one just didn't work well. While the case itself wasn't bad, it reduced the usability of Apples MagSafe capabilities to near 0. If you plan on solely using lightning, I have no issue with this case, otherwise, I urge you to look elsewhere.

This case is great for keeping a grip on your phone. the ribs are handy and make a pretty cool latin percussion instrument on the go! For me, the only downside is it's not compatible with MagSafe charger or my magnetic dashboard mount.

Looked at ALL the different brands for a week before purchasing! Outer box was in first place because it can protect the phone so well...but after feeling it on the phone, the commuter was just not enough security and the other one was too bulky. I had speck before on iPhone 6. It lasted and protected my investment for years!!! I wanted one again, but didn't like my wife's clear case because the plastic felt hard and slippery. Presidio 2 grip, answer to it all. I wish it was leather, but leather doesn't protect. It's plastic. Not hard like the clear one. Feels soft in the hands. The buttons are solid, not a rubbery feel over the iPhone buttons. It's great. It's sleek. It's classic. It's protective. I know my phone will last and I won't get tired of the design. Great job speck. Thank you

Very happy with this case. Because the color is throughout t the entire case, it's so easy to locate my phone on any surface color. The ridges help with having a solid grip with no slippage. The buttons are raised a little which means they are easy to access even in the dark. Great case!

Great case for the iPhone 12!
Just put one of these on a new 12Pro iPhone as a replacement for the Speck I had on my old 8+. Very nice deep blue color with the textured back and sides I need to get a firm grip on my phone (I've got dry hands).
Looks good and doesn't add a lot of bulk but gives your phone the protection it needs when you spending $1000+.

I like the feel of the grip. I have had them for many iphones. But the grip doesn't use the magsafe ring so the induction charger won't stick to it. You can charge through it, but it would be nicer if it would stick.

Great case, redesign needed a little more work
So this is my 3rd grip case for an iPhone (I've had one for the Xr, 11, and now the 12) I have to say I'm a little disappointed in this "redesign" the grips are "smooth" def not rubberized as they have been makes the case a little slick and no very "grip" I'm debating if I should just exchange it for a non grip as they don't seem to be as useful as they used to be. Overall the Presidio cases are great just feels a little like they missed the mark and modified a good thing to something a little less than great

The new style is not good at all. The case did not stay securely on my phone and just felt cheap. I miss the 1st version of the Presido series when the inside layer of rubber felt more secure and durable and actually lipped around to the screen. Moving backwards, Speck.

This is the third iPhone for which I thought a Speck case and I always loved them until I received this one. The case for the iPhone 12 fits the phone very Weill, however the construction of the case has changed. Specifically the grips are no longer comprised of silicone (which kept the phone from slipping off smooth surfaces), but from the same materials as the rest of the case. It still provides a good grip in the hand, but not so much when not being held.

I've used speck cases for my iPhones 7 and XS for the past few years. I was recently gifted a new iPhone, for which I purchased another brand of case. My spouse dropped the phone every. single. time. I handed her my new phone in its otter box. I'd ordered a speck case for a backup and decided to switch the new phone to the new speck case. I wish I'd done it the first day! This case is much lighter, and overall just feels like it was made to be in your hand, and perfectly fits the phone.

This case is a lot different from the previous presidio cases that speck made. What made the presidio grip special was the rubberized grooves and the lip around the screen that made the phone feel confident in your hands, without fear of dropping out. This new presidio grip case however changed the rubber grooves to match the material of the hard plastic like the rest of the case. This makes your phone more slippery in your hands unlike the one before. The new matte material is also a finer matte finish compared to the old one, making it pick up more fingerprints from the oils in your hands. This case is also too thick to use with the new MagSafe charger. The only thing good about this case is the build quality, it's built like the usual speck cases. Overall disappointed in this new presidio grip case, they ruined what made the old on so good.

Great Product - Shipping Not So Much
I have been using Speck products for a few years now and I am glad I purchased this new one for my iPhone 12. The shipping process was a little painful as I paid for next-day delivery and didn't receive my product for 4 days, hence the 4-stars instead of 5. What made it worse is customer service hung up in my face when I called to gripe abut the delivery time. They blamed it on the shipping company although the tracking information said they had not received the package from Speck yet. Nonetheless, the product itself is decent and I will more than likely purchase again in the future.

I got a new iPhone and realized as soon as I held it that I would need a good case for it - it's a slippery little thing! The Speck case is the answer - easy to put on the phone, with a soft comfortable grip. And even so, I have managed to drop my phone or knock it off the table a couple of times with no damage to the phone or the case. I had not used Speck before, but feel good about this product and would recommend to others.

Not impressed at all. The name of the case is presidio Grip and it doesn't grip at all. Slides out of my pocket and on the dashboard of the car. Doesn't grip leaning it on stuff to watch videos. I've bought nothing but Speck cases for my last 6 phones and this one doesn't live up to its name.

Was super excited to get this to only find out all of the rubber grip material is now hard plastic. Except for the volume and sleep buttons. Avoid this case as it now slips out of your hand easily and slides across smooth surfaces. Returning my case.

I was very surprised and impressed by the quality and solidness of the case. I had had a Presidio Sport case for my iPhone 8 that held up well. I was hoping that this case would be available for the iPhone 12, but unfortunately it was not. I tend to drop my phone a bit and from the reviews all of the Speck cases for the iPhone 12, all were slippery, even the Grip ones. I particularly liked the rubbery coating on my Sport case but this was not available on any of the Speck iPhone 12 cases. I asked a Speck rep through chat help and he wasn't sure how grippy the case was. He said just buy a case, and if you don't like it return it. I took a chance with the above "soft touch" case and it's great. The finish is a bit tacky and very grippy. It's an excellent case. I hope this helps. Good luck.

I always buy the Speck Grip cases. The material is not slick so the phone won't slide out of your hand. They come in multiple colors so everyone in the family can use one and not confuse their phones.

I like changing cases on my phones. I used to purchase cases from several different companies. When I discovered the Grip cases from Speck, I stopped buying the other brands. The colors are nice and the case has a smooth hand feel. But it's the "grips" that keep me coming back. I have significant arthritis in my hands and I've yet to find any another case that keeps my phone in my hand as well as this one does. I hope Speck never stops making this case.

This is my 3rd Speck grip type iPhone case. Am hooked on these because they protect and do not slip while placed on a slick center console in my car. Also easy to grip and won't easily slip out of your hand. Pretty fast delivery. Would recommend to others.

Talk about ruining the one best thing your company had going for it. We have been fans because you used to actually make these with grip. There are plenty of slippery plastic cases out there. Cutting corners gets you nowhere. I will probably never be a customer again.

Best phone case ever.
Used a speck case on my previous iPhone and using one now for my iPhone12 that I've had for just over two years. Last week it saved my phone. I accidentally left my phone on the side of the bed of my husband's pickup truck. It flew off the truck at 55mph on the highway. Used "find my phone" to find where it landed. The screen protector was messed up around the edge of the phone, but the phone was fine! A couple of scuff marks on the case from impact. And that was all. Can't recommend Speck enough.

Second time buyer, good case, I'm okay with the updates.
This is a good case. Fits very well and I like the impact protection (cushion/thickness) it seems to provide. I had the iPhone X version of this case; had to replace it under warranty after 2 yrs b/c the rubber grips were peeling off. They've molded the grip lines as part of the case now; so theres no more "rubber" grip. I liked the rubber grips but given their obvious propensity to peel off, I can understand why speck did this. The new grips are harder given theyre part of the case, and dont offer quite as much traction as I'd like, but I think it'll still do the job just fine for me and my butter fingers. it comes out of the pocket easier without the rubber grip lines too. Overall a solid case and itll last me a long time.

Ditto on a previous reviewer's comments. The Grip has been my go to case for years. The grip was the main reason for purchasing. When I decided to upgrade my phone, this was what I ordered as usual. Very disappointed, not really any grip to speak of, especially at this price. Not sure it should be call the "Grip" anymore. Unfortunately, will be looking for a replacement and most likely returning.

I always protect my iPhones with Speck cases. They provide great protection for my new iPhone 12 Pro. The side buttons on this new one seem to work more easily than previous models - just a light touch activates each button. The rim of the case rises above the screen and protects it from breakage should I drop the phone.

Great Protection for iPhone 12
I have used Speck iPhone cases in the past. When I recently upgraded to the iPhone 12 I initially purchased an Apple brand leather case. After a few days I felt that the Apple leather case was a bit slippery to hold and did not provide the drop protection of my previous Speck cases. I ordered your Presidio Grip case and am pleased with the fit and protection it offers.

Yes the grip is a harder plastic than before, but I think feels better! And it will last longer too I'm sure. Case overall has a great feel to it as the plastic is not hard like an otter box symmetry, which is a great case too! I think speck really hit it out of the park with this case

Go back to your basics
whether it protects your phone it most certainly does. My issue is the discoloring in less than a month and the texture of the phone that attracts finger prints and grease. Go back to the way the cases were before, my iPhone 11 Pro grip case was perfect.

Case seems fine- the plastic is thinner than my last Speck case and I thought the grip part would be 'grippier'- it is just the same plastic as the case but raised. The order took almost a month to arrive so I would suggest you buy in store. I've only had the case for 1 day at this point so can't really evaluate longevity.

Still my fave iPhone case! This is my 3rd one through three different iPhone models. With the rubber grips on sides and the back, phone stays firmly in your hand and doesn't slide off surfaces when ringing or vibrating. Plus I love the raised edge around the screen. If you drop your phone the glass screen does not touch the ground. Very protective. Also very durable. Please keep making these!

Decent, better than the clear case but not perfect
This case is much better than the Clear case I bought for the iPhone 12 originally, which was much too slippery. I only gave this one 3 stars because it's still not as nice as the other 2 Speck cases I have for the iPhone X and iPhone XR. If anyone from Speck can tell me which iPhone 12 pro case matches the ones I have pictured here, I would greatly appreciate it. This particular case is still kinda hard plastic, and doesn't have the nice "rubberized" feel like the others I have, (which I love) but it is still kinda "grippy".

I have used Speck in the past, about 7-8 years ago on older iPhones. I just upgraded from an iPhone 8 and I was hoping Speck lived up to what I had always known them to be, and thankfully, it did. I purchased the Presidio2 Grip case for the iPhone 12 Pro and I love it. I watched a lot of reviews on different cases and this one seemed to be the best, and so far it has been. The only thing I would say could be improved is the ridges on the back of the case should be rubberized to add a little more grip, like the old Speck Candyshell Grip cases. Those were my favorite cases I've ever owned. Otherwise great product and definitely deserving of 5 stars.

was generally drawn to speck because of the hard shell cases and grips. this one is weird...soft, shows fingerprints, and way duller than the picture shows. i thought the night violet and black case was more of a hot pink and black (based on the pictures), but the color is way more subdued and purple. extremely disappointed with this purchase

Overall love this case. I have been buying the same one for every iPhone I've had. They are very protective, considering I drop my phone a lot and I've never had damage to the phone. The newest version for my 12 pro is a little different than the last case. What used to be rubber accents on the case are now plastic. I found that the rubber parts on previous versions used to stain and discolor very quickly making my new case look dingy. So for some this may be a pro, however changing the material to plastic has definitely taken the "grip" out of the Presidio Grip case.

The case for what I paid is a little pricey. It is comparable to cheaper silicon cases on the market. The grips are not as rubbery as I expected and doesn't really give any different grip than any other silicon case. The cover over the volume and off buttons are very stiff so you have to press very hard for a response. The 3 stars is for the rating on the drop height. Hopefully I won't drop my phone from any higher distance than 3 feet.....

Had the previous grip case from Speck for iPhone 11. The old one seems more rubbery and has more grip than the new one. The new one for iphone 12 is harder and ribs are plastic not rubber. Better than a smooth case, but doesn't seem as good as previous model in my opinion. I use phone when hands are wet or with gloves on and the extra grip really helps.

I would not recommend. Prior to my iPhone 12, I had an iPhone 6S, also with a case. While the grip and design earns the phone two stars, the change in design from silicone interior (like the CandyShell cases) to this version is devolution. It feels cheaper than my prior Speck case. The third star is a base line for the "lip"/"lift" that the phone has (around the perimeter of the front screen), which I find safeguards the side-cracks and flat-falls of my phone.

A huge step backwards form previous generations
I've used Speck grip cases for many generations of iPhone and they've always been pretty great. The grips on this generation are hard plastic instead of rubber, which essentially ruins the core functionality of this case. It's terrible and they need to fix it and create an update to the case.

The cases aren't the same silicone grip that they used to be and gets dirty very easily. I've had mine for 2 months now and it's so dirty that I need a new one. And I've tried to clean it and it won't come clean. I used to love these speck cases but I am not a fan of the new grip and silicone durometer.

I've used the Presidio2 Grip model cases for my last 3 iPhones. They are manufactured a little different now (grips seem molded in now or "1-piece", still great, but my XR Presidio Grip had separate grips of different material than case that were a little grippier.) Fit/feel and finish is outstanding. Volume buttons, side button are excellent and a little improved than on previous revisions. Always buy from the official Speck site, they have better options and colors than the 3 generic Speck cases in every cell/electronic store. Shipping is incredibly quick too. I love this case and it just looks next level compared to other cellphone cases I see and hold out there. I've gotten compliments on it. Pair the colors right (I bought my phone color based on what Presidio2 Grip case I was going to use.) and it's ??

I am not sure what all of the "grippyness" complaints are about. Yes, it feels less tacky than the older model it replaced, but unless you are walking around like a zombie with your phone planted in front of your face and if you have the grip strength of an average human, the current version is just fine. The upside to the new material is that it doesn't get hung up as easily when going in and out of your pocket.

I really enjoy this case. It's stylish without being too flashy, comes in a nice colorway, is easy to install, adds some nice grip to the phone, and doesn't add too much bulk to the phone when added. This case is slim, but sturdy. I went from an iPhone 8 to an iPhone 12 Pro. The phone significantly bigger on its own, so I'm very relieve this case doesn't make it feel giant! Also, I'm horrible about dropping my phone. Speck cases are my go-to! I haven't had a cracked phone since I started using Speck cases 4 years ago. Definitely recommend Speck cases.

Speck consistently delivers quality.
This is my fourth Speck case, the first one for this phone. My previous cases were for my iPhone 4, then 2 over the course of 6 years for my iPhone 6. The speck cases have that inner soft material that rests agains the phone, a snug fit, and a raised edge so you can set your phone down either way and not worry about the screen or cameras touching the surface.
I've dropped my phones a few times (mostly on carpet, but once or twice on tile) with no noticeable wear. I prefer the grip style because it feels solid in the hand, yet still slides in and out of my pocket easily.
While I've only used Speck brand cases, my friends and family have used various brands, and none of them ever seem to be as satisfied by the level of quality and protection as what I have received from my cases.

I have a speck case for my ipad that i really like so shopping for a case for my new iphone from Speck was an easy decision. I went for the grip case for just a bit more security but was worried it wouldn't be comfortable but it still slides in and out of my pocket easily and it is easier to hold onto. Love the color selection, navy blue which i know isn't that radical but it matches the phone so that is nice.
I did message support before purchase to make sure the wireless charger would still work with the extra thickness of the grip texture and got a quick response which was also welcome.

This I-phone 12 case is as good as my old I-phone 7 case. Excellent grip / Excellent fit / Excellent protection without any unnecessary bulk. I will also add that my I-phone 7 slipped out of my pocket at work and fell 11 feet to a concrete floor. The Speck case had a little cosmetic damage but the phone was completely in damaged. I have used Speck Grip cases in the past because they were very "grippy", unlike any other case. The previous models would probably wear out a little faster than a normal case but the stickiness of the case and resistance to sliding on smooth surfaces made it worth it and I had no issues re-purchasing them.
This new one is NOT remotely the same. In an attempt to make it last longer, it's no longer a "grip" case. I thought over time it would get better and stickier...it absolutely didn't. Yay! (sarcasm)....I have a case that will last longer...but doesn't have more grip than any other case. Calling this a "Grip" case is false advertising.

Unfortunately, Speck replaced the textured plastic that hid fingerprints on older models with a smooth plastic that shows EVERY fingerprint. Too bad, too, because it is an otherwise great case. Also, color options are too limited.

This case provides a great deal of protection but the problem was it didn't look too great on the iPhone 12 pro. The blue color didn't look as great as I was hopping to for my iPhone 12 Pacific Blue. I don't like clear cases due to fingerprints. This case feels slightly bulky to my taste and I decided that pronounced grooves probably is not the best during the pandemic times. The bottom line: very protective but bulky and not elegant. The groves are a concern in our difficult times like that.

They have made a change to this case for Iphone 12 and the back in no long rubber ribs and the case makes the phone slide. I use to buy these for the fact it would not slide and so now its like any other case.

It's the perfect case for me
The case overall is terrific. It's the perfect amount of grip in your hand, yet easy to side in and out of your pocket. I gave 4 stars because when I put the case on I feel like it's smashing down the volume keys and side button. Also, before I bought it online I tried the case out in a Verizon store and they had one display box open so you could test the case out on your phone before buying it. The case I received wasn't sealed so I was kinda disappointed because even though there was nothing wrong with the case it seems like this was maybe a display model. The only reason I know that is because I almost bought this case in the Verizon store and the one they gave me was sealed shut with the Speck sticker at the bottom so you couldn't slide the case out. I'm being a little nit-picky but when I buy something brand new I like it to be sealed and since I know they had a sealed box in the store I would expect Speck to send me one that's sealed too.

I've always loved Speck products ever since I got a case for my first iPhone over 10 years ago. The cases are very durable (lasting 2-3 years, usually), and as someone who drops my phone a decent amount, I've never had a cracked screen. Highly recommend. I only wish they let you customize the colors a bit more...

This is my third Speck phone case and I love them just as much now as the day I first bought one! I always used other brands, such as Otterbox and Lifeproof in the past but after finding Speck, I've never gone back. These cases are extremely durable and I have never had to replace one due to product defect/damage. I have only ever bought new ones when I upgraded my device and needed a model to fit the new phone. I especially love the Presidio2 Grip case. My hands are always slick and I hardly ever drop my phone thanks to it! The case is durable and protective without the bulk of other cases. If you are on the fence about buying from Speck, just do it!

Excellent product, some wireless charging challenges
I've been a long-time Speck customer for my iPhone cases over the years. I just upgraded to the iPhone 12, so of course wanted to go with Speck products.
Overall, I'm very happy with the case - it does tend to cause some lost connectivity when trying to wirelessly charge the iPhone. It's often a hit-and-miss approach, trying to position the phone in just the right way so it will at least begin charging (how long it charges - all the way or only partially, resulting in the dreaded "red LED" on the charger - is inconsistent). The fallback options are to remove the case to wirelessly charge the phone, or use the lightening port at the bottom and forego wireless charging.

Love the ribbed back.
This purchase was on a new model phone. I had purchased one that had molding over the buttons that didn't work. This one is excellent because it allows direct contact to the buttons.
I have previously purchased the ribbed back models, and like the anti slip feature.
I had purchased the flat backed model at ATT because they were out of the ribbed. Next time I'll order on line.

This case has a matte feel to it and I love it! I honestly love the matte feeling more than glossy because the case never feels oily or greasy. I also LOVE this new design. The material of the case is a hard matte plastic and the inside has rubber to protect your phone from drops. The front border is the same material as the back and it's all connected, but it's still easy to put on your phone. Also, to take off the case you have to pull at the rubber corners. This case is also amazing because it won't discolor overtime like the old cases did. It won't discolor because it's a hard plastic material instead of a soft rubbery material. I also love how grippy the case is! Another reason I love this case is because the pink color it has is the most beautiful pink. It reminds me of bubblegum and I love it!

Old phone had old Speck case that always served me and those I know well. I drove it into the ground. When I got another phone I bought another, much relieved you still make this exact style! Love how the case grips surfaces. My friend's Speck case survived her phone falling off the roof of her car as she sped along a country road. Thank you for making a product that works so well.

I can personally attest the superb durability of this product. I recently dropped my phone on a county road in south Texas that was frequented by lots of oil field semi trucks. Before I was able to retrieve the phone off the pavement, two semi trucks had actually run over the phone! Although there were some scuffs on it (and actual tire tread marks) there was no real damage and the phone is completely operational! The screen was not even cracked! Very happy with this product and highly recommend it!!!

I've always loved Speck cases; I've been using them almost exclusively for years. The grip case has been my preferred case for years, but they've changed the design. The ridges for grip are not rubber anymore; they're just molded into the plastic of the case. They don't give any extra grip. I'm really disappointed because part of the reason I like the rubber strips is so I can set my phone down on a surface, especially one that's on an incline, and it won't slide around. And, it's not just the strips, but the bezel on the front also. Speck--PLEASE go back to using actual rubber or something that actually grips.

"Grip" poor name choice, "slip" would be better
Returned product. I really liked my previous Speck cases however this one was disappointing. I liked how protected my phone seemed however the name is very misleading. Case slides around on surfaces and is slippery in hand. There are plastic ridges but they do not have any real "grip".

Beware - Speck has changed the grip design
This must be my tenth Speck grip-style case, and the first where I've been disappointed. Speck has changed the design of the grippies from a rubber-like feel, to plastic grippies. I'm sure it will protect my phone, but I will be dropping it more because of the redesigned grippies.

I have used the Presidio Grip for several years now on a few different iPhones. The rubber grip was the biggest reason for this. So naturally when I ordered my new iPhone, I ordered this case. Very disappointed that the "grip" is made of out the same hard plastic as the rest of the case. Sadly, I'll be returning this and looking for a replacement.

I use the Presidio2 Grip iPhone 12 everyday, and it works great! I ordered it with the clear for a different phone, (that's a different review). The buttons were a bit stiff at first, but then loosened up. This has the rubber grips that I was expecting, so it's secure when I hold it and doesn't move around so much when it's laying on the console of my car. I like the color and feel that my phone is protected. The only thing is it took three weeks to receive from the order date. I have been using Speck products for my phones for years.

No grip
I loved the old Candyshell cases, and I have loved the various Grip cases over the last several years, but this one is very different. They ruined it by removing the rubber grips. They are now hard plastic and slippery. I'm sure this makes the case more durable than the old ones, but it defeats the purpose of buying a grip case. I will be returning it. Hopefully they listen to feedback and fix the issue because I really like Speck Grip cases when they are done properly.

Not like the Candyshell grip
I upgraded to the iPhone 12 and was hopeful this would be like the Candyshell grip with the sticky/rubberized grips. Unfortunately, the "grips" are made of the same plastic as the case, which don't provide any grip at all. Sending this one back, in hopes Speck expands their very limited choices & brings back the Candyshell grip for the iPhone 12.

These phones are an investment and I have sorted through a lot of phone cases to find that happy medium. The right grip without being to bulky. These cases are perfect for in and out of the pocket. The grip is outstanding, especially as you use them. At first our cases felt surprisingly slippery but as I used them they become more grippy (possibly due to the manufacturing process). In any case I have found these cases to be the best at protecting your phone from normal drops, best grip by far and yet still thin enough to easily pull in out of you pocket. Best case I have found hands down.

Solid and looks good
I do like the stylish feel/look which is why I selected it. After a few kinks ordering it on Amazon, I finally decided to order it directly from SPECK which turned out to work much better. Solid and looks good. So pretty much what I wanted.

Love the improvement from iPhone X presidio grip
I had the Presidio grip for the iPhone X and loved it. Over the years though, the rubber grip on it started peeling off, and the plastic hard shell began to crack.
Still, I loved the design concept. For this model, the grips are improved in that is part of the hardshell's molding. I don't expect these to rub off over the new couple of years. It seems sturdy, I like the bubble sides for drop protection.
My only wish is that it was somehow even more grippy but the design of the grip being a part of the molding and case, I understand why it is the way it is. It's still got that 'not slick' almost TPU soft texture to it that isn't slippery where there aren't grips.
I like it a lot! I'd buy more if there were more color offerings too (besides black and gray)

great grip even with wet/gel hands
I never have to worry about dropping even when hands are wet (or gel'ed) which thanks to the constant need to use hand sanitizer during the pandemic is a plus. I've purchased some version of this case with every iPhone iteration - I have tried some others that had a cool pic or design but end up going back to this style of the comfort grip and the fact i don't stress even if I do drop the phone because the case can take a beating.

Rubber Grippiness Gone-RIP Candyshell Grip
Have used a white/black candyshell grip for years and loved it. These new models are a huge step back. Grips are not grippy, don't even think they are rubber. Plastics look cheap, lacks the shine of older models. I don't think they will be bringing the Candyshell Grips back. Good idea for someone to make a knockoff of that older model, and the customer base will already be there. Regards, Former Satisfied Customer.

The rubber bumper and grips are gone ??
I have bought the previous versions of this case for every iPhone I've had, but this case is terrible! This is NOT an upgrade, no matter what is said by customer service or the people who designed it. Gone is the rubber bumper around the face and the rubber grips that kept the phone securely in your hand and free from cracks (if it did get dropped). I am so disappointed, even angry, that I bought a new iPhone 12 Pro and can't protect it with the grip case I swear by and loved in the past. PLEASE bring back the case everyone wants and put this sad "upgrade" in the clearance section where it belongs.

I hated this product, material is extremely cheap and not as good as older versions for the older models of phones . My iPhone X candyshell was 1000 times better and the only case I ever used! Currently using otter box because this one is horrid.

Great case and super grippy
I've been using these cases for years. The grip makes it easy to hold on to, but even when you drop it, the case absorbs the impact. I love the raised bezel allowing you to put the phone face down and not worry about scratches. Overall great case.

I drop my phone about 20 times a day and it protects my phone. Works with the wireless charger. Had this with my previous iPhone 8 and loved it so had to re-purchase. It is a bulkier case but if you're ok with that, definitely invest in it. The little grip things did start peeling off after a while with my old case and it hasn't happened to this one yet so either they have fixed this problem since then or it's because I just recently got this new one but just be aware of that as well. Overall, I love and appreciate this investment.

Speck has been my go-to for cases for a long time. Presidio Grip being my favorite. I have arthritis in my hands and with this case I worry less about the phone slipping out of my fingers. I've never had reason to be disappointed or dissatisfied with this company or their products. Well worth the price, in my humble opinion. I recently upgraded my my phone and the new yellow case is bright and cheerful. I like it lots!

very slim so doesn't add much size to the phone itself but seems to be pretty sturdy if it does drop. grips are smoother than expected (thought they would be more rubbery to prevent slips) so the phone has slipped through my hands but overall really like the case

The third or fourth Grip that I have had for my iPhones: they all protect well, are very easy to hold, do not slip out from a slick pocket, are reasonably light weight, and are attractive.
Only 4/5 stars because every single Grip that I've owned has frayed or split near the bottom where the speaker openings are, despite me being careful. (On one Grip, the grip strips also started to peel.). Quality control could be better.

Exactly what my husband was looking for. He had one of these Presidio Grip covers for an older iPhone and it worked great for him. He drops his phone all the time if cover does not have the grip feature on it. This new one works just as great as the older version for his old iPhone.

Grip isn't rubber, just hard plastic
I've used speck cases for every iPhone since the iPhone 4 and always gone with the grip case. Just like a lot of other reviews, this year I was disappointed to find that the grips are no longer rubber and just raised hard plastic. It just slides across any surface, and right out of my hand. I see in some of the other reviews Speck responded about keeping design and durability in mind but with all my other iPhones whenever I would drop it, it never damaged the phone and barely the case while those had rubber grips.
I think the materials of the 11 Pro case should have been reused in this one.
I am also not a fan of the new matte-like texture of the case. I haven't run into this yet, but I feel like the case will acquire scratches very easily from objects like keys for example.
But overall I do think the case will live up to its expectations and protect my phone in the event I drop it.

Feel Safe With Speck Cases Phone Cases
I am a quadriplegic with limited grasp and grip in my hands. I have been using Speck's phone cases for years on various iPhones I have owned. Speck's line of products have kept my phones safe from occasional falls to hard surfaces . What I am particularly impressed with are the grip features on the cases that enable me to easily pick up the phone and hold it while I'm using it. I would recommend Speck cases to anyone - no matter what device that needs protection.

Nice grip case that can charge wirelessly but MagSafe accessories don't attach. In fact, I found myself holding my phone to the MagSafe charger to make sure it would charge.

I have always purchased the Speck grip cases for my phone. I decided to try the clear case for my iphone 12 PRO. However, this case is 100% molded plastic It does not have the soft ridges that I have become used to (and love). This makes the case very slippery. It even slips just picking the phone up. I will not be keeping this case.

This case is very easy to hold on to. Grooved edges really help. Reinforced corners. Very happy with this case.
