Have used the Speck cases since I bought my first iPad. They are tough, excellent quality, easy to use, and always protected my iPad from damage.

Unstable
This arrived quickly and has multiple aspects I like, including the color and snap closure. However, it does not put the iPad to sleep when the cover is closed. Moreover, it's very, very unstable when on a softer surface like a bed due to its multiple functions, meaning it is not rigid and folds constantly. I would only recommend this for use on a desk.

Overall good but functional details overlooked
For the most part it works as needed but it seems like the company just didn’t pay attention to details in the design. The multiple notches on the bottom are pretty useless since the angle the iPad sits in doesn’t change dramatically. On that note, the bottom part is split into two plates which makes it very hard to put it up at an angle on the couch or other uneven surfaces. The part where the iPad fits into is also mounted crooked. There’s a loop that fits a stylus but it’s in an awkward location that makes it not very accessible from either the angled position or folded over position. I probably would’ve returned it but I threw away the original box and you need it for returns.

iPad case
Case protects well and is the style I wanted. However, the Auto Unlock/lock feature does not work. Went to my local Best Buy where I purchased the iPad to get a different case and it now works. I had only ordered this because of the color option not being available in store. Disappointed it does not recognize with the new case.

A Repeat Purchase
I had a Speck cover on a previous iPad for ten years. It looks like the dickens now, but it held up. I was happy to see the company still in business. It's easier to hold the 'Pad with the cover on. I'd only dock the cover for being heavy, but that's the trade-off for the protection.

Practical yet attractive functionality
I have an old iPad with an old beloved Specs cover on it. When I got a new, updated iPad, I wanted a case for it exactly like the old case. Luckily, the new case I purchased is the new version of what I had and I love it. I expect it to wear as well as my old one!!

Love my IPad case!
The ipad case is actually better than I expected. It's so sturdy which makes me feel like my ipad is totally protected but it's also functional with the ipencil loop and it actually stands up properly for watching videos etc. The flap on the outside makes it perfect for taking photos and videos as well. The only thing that would make this case better would be an inner loop for the ipencil. I think it would protect it more.

Safety First!
I recently bought the brand new iPad, and I am extremely clumsy. This came about last week, on December 24th, 2022. I took a nasty fall after slipping on ice, and landed right on my back, where my small, thin purse was. I was terrified to look to see if my iPad had cracked, but it was completely okay! I highly recommend these amazing products!

Great product!
I've purchased several Speck iPhone cases that have been super (I drop my phone constantly and no damage) so naturally I came back for an iPad case. It's sturdy, protective and has many nice features. The only thing is my dog's hair sticks to it constantly, but that's not the case's fault lol I recommended these products to my family who uses them now also. #Sweepstakes

I have always used Speck cases for my iPads and this one does not disappoint. It fits the 10th generation perfectly and does not interfere with a screen protector at all. It is sturdy and looks great. I love the drop down addition for the camera, it keeps your camera nice and clean.

Great case, good features
I love my case! It feels pretty durable (I haven't dropped it yet, so can't speak from experience here) and has a great feel to it as far as texture goes.
I like the features, such as the camera cover that flips open and the latch that holds the case closed or open in the handheld position.
Overall a great case so far, especially for the price!

A disappointment - long time customer
This is at least my third iPad case from Speck (also have used many phone cases). The box for this states there is an auto wake/sleep but it does not work with the iPad 10th gen. Otherwise the case seems fine and up to normal standards.

Case cover does NOT put iPad to sleep when closed
The product description says built-in magnets in the cover are strategically placed to put your tablet to sleep when not in use and wake it up automatically when you need it for an extended battery life. When I close my cover it does not put iPad to sleep even though I have the setting enabled. It seems like the case is too deep to engage the magnet as there is a gap between the cover and the screen when cover is closed and locked. Otherwise the case seems fine, fits tightly into the plastic shell.

No auto wake/missing magnets
I have had this same case for previous iPads and it had the auto wake feature. Unfortunately this version does not and if you don't remember to turn off you iPad the battery will completely drain. Seems like such a simple feature that really makes a difference.disappointed they didn't include it on this version like their others.

Good Case, falls short of being a Great case
The cover extends about about 1/3 inch beyond the hard protective case. Does so to place a secure lock device. The problem is the the sound buttons are difficult to reach. Actually have to fold down the camera cover to push the buttons. This does not happen on the earlier cases that I used. on earlier models the hard case is flush with the cover.

Too big for the 2025 ipad
The case is too big for the ipad. If you look at the righthand side, there is empty space. This adds unecessarily bulk and this now takes up additional space in my purse. I prefer the previous designs where it fits just right. I wish I could return it.

Redesigned To Be Worse?
First the good news. This is a well made product that has lots of flexibility. It protects my iPad well. Now the bad. I’ve had two previous versions of this case on older iPads but this has been redesigned with a half inch overhang of cover on one long edge. This makes the iPad too wide to fit in my bag. The overhang serves no purpose I can see and holding in landscape arrangement, my thumb rests against the overhang and pushes the camera flap open all the time. It’s a nuisance. And I am concerned the fastener that holds the cover closed has empty space behind it now, making it much more likely to break off. The design previously was perfect, so this is two steps backward.
