Sound quality is good, the over ear cups and headband are comfortable and the cups give a good isolation of extraneous sounds.I expect the same Sony reliability.

The sound quality is awesome and can be easily adjusted with the app on the iPhone. The noise cancelling aspect of the headphones aren't the best but also I couldn't hear the babies crying on a flight I recently took.

The fit is really great and they’re comfortable even after extended periods of use. The battery life is phenomenal! I go through a full day of significant use and even if I’m literally using it quite a bit during the day (to zone out while studying) they still have ages left to run. I would add though that the noise canceling is good in some circumstances but there does seem to be certain frequency ranges whereby it does not fully blank out such external noise, such as traffic when you’re walking down the road. In fact that is also a good thing. I have also not been able to get it to fully function when connected to two Apple devices simultaneously but would need to dig into that a bit more perhaps. The bass is also not as intense as some of the other bass-focused Sony headphones I’ve listened too but that was not strictly my aim and in fact I have not even tweaked the settings in the Sony headphones app as I deem it sufficient by default. I’d highly recommend this product.

The battery life seems really good for the bluetooth and I like that I can also connect the cable up and use them as normal headphones if the battery is low or I want to use them with a device that doesn't support Bluetooth.

This is my first noise cancelling headphones. The noise cancellation is alright, I think. I don't have any experiences with good NC.The sound quality is SUPERB! It is also very light to wear and it clamps on my head well. Only issue is that it hurts my large outer ears when I use it for a long time. Overall, this headphone is really nice.

And of course, it's also far easier to move around and enjoy the music whilst doing other activities, without being tethered to one place as with wired headphones. Furthermore, the connection was really strong and I was able to listen to music whilst on a different floor to my computer.

They are comfortable and the sound quality is good. I have not needed to use the noise cancelling yet, but will do so when I next have a long bus journey.The only problem was bluetooth pairing, but the support was good and the solution simple - to keep the power button pressed a little longer to enable bluetooth pairing. The battery life is excellent, which means only occasional charging.Recommended.

The box was well packaged and came with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm Jack for use when you can't use the wireless functionality. Pairing was easy using the NFC option with my Android phone. I downloaded the app and can control the equaliser or select from presets. Sound was clear and had sufficient bass for my tastes. They have noise cancelling which is efficient but doesn't totally remove all external noise but that isn't a bad thing as it is nice to still be able to hear some of your surroundings. The headset is comfortable and the battery life is good. The only thing I could ask for would be to have a case to come with the package to protect them when in my bag.

Loving them so far once the battery starts to drop ill think of getting some other Sony's with bit better noise canceling.

It took a couple of hours to fully charge them and they then worked well throughout the eleven hour flight. The noise cancelling is very effective and the ability to either use them wirelessly or plugged into the aircraft’s entertainment system gave me all the flexibility that I required.

My only issue with the headphones are that I cannot discern any audio changes between when using ActivE Noise Cancellation and when it is turned off. Apart from that. I love these headphones! 10/10!

Bluetooth works well, unless you're in a building with very thick walls, in which case it's better to have your phone/music player close to you so you can enjoy music without breaking up.

The only thing I would improve is when they're on, a green light flashes - this is good to let you know if you've left them on but not if you're wearing at night.

Although made of plastic the fill ok, fit very well. The music is clear and noise cancelling works well for buzzing open office. Especially AC fans are very well filtered, voices maybe 50%, traffic 80%. The microphone works very well, people say that it sounds like I am on the actual phone, which is impressing. Overall good buy for fair price.

My Daughter has tried numerous different pairs of headphones over the last few years that were never very satisfactory and stopped working after a short amount of time but her initial reaction when she tried these ones was "These are the best headphones I've ever tried"! They are comfortable, easy to set up, not too big or bulky, the noise cancelling is excellent and can be controlled by a switch and being wireless makes them much easier to use.

The headphones were very comfortable and the noise cancelling excellent, cutting out 99% of aircraft noise and enabling me to get some sleep on the long hauls. The touch pad takes some getting used to, but after a while works perfectly, including full control on streaming downloaded Spotify tracks, on both Android and Apple platforms.

Before buying I tried them in a major retailer shop and compared with some competitors. Sony's were most sturdy, had all needed functions and good sound quality. The only improvement I can suggest for the producer is to add a protective case. I often travel with them and have to put in a plastic bag and in a backpack full of other stuff. A nice simple protective case for them would be great, even if at extra cost.

I am captivated on its performance and all the reviews were right. I really love listening to music, especially with loud bass, even though its not extra-bass; still bass delivered well. You just can hear even to the single sound detail of the singer's lips. I'm not expecting too much on noise cancellation since it's at mid-range product, yet, most unnecessary environment noise was eliminated and I'm fine about that. I could recommend this to my folks when they decide to upgrade their music listening experience!

The only downside I have found so far, and this is quite picky, is the active noise cancelling isn't as good as some of the rivals. They are very good, easy to use, Bluetooth connects automatically, and the sound quality by and large is excellent. My only criticism would be that even with the NC (noise cancelling) switch set to on, wind noise isn’t eliminated. In fact, when walking on a windy day it is almost impossible to hear speak detail and some voices on songs. Apart from that, I’m ver happy with my purchase.

You can hear any background noise as easily with the noise cancelling on or off. The ANC feature has a green light to indicate its on. Sony should promote the green light as a feature because its more accurate than saying these have any noise cancelling functionality at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound and very comfortableAfter 2 weeks of use, I am very pleased with these headphones. The only limitations are down to Bluetooth rather than the headphones. Noise cancelling is just enough in a household environment - haven't tried them in an aircraft yet.

I use them at the gym and have found them a great help there as well as other noisy situations. They are easy to use without too many features and do a good job in reducing noise.

I think if you asked ten people what they are looking for in headphones you would get ten different answers. For me it was the bass sound and ease of use., plus the added bonus of noise cancellation, “no more nagging “ wife.
