Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do not buy unfortunately Broke after a few months. Unfortunately i loved them so much i got a 2nd pair...and the saaaame thing happened after a few months. Warranty does not cover this, which it should because this is at the hinge area, you have to constantly move this part, especially to put them away in the case they provide. These are not inexpensive headphones but the parts they use are cheap. I have to tape mine together, i can not spend more money then I already have on new headphones in a short amount of time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sony ULT Wear Headphones – Known Defect, Extended Sony ULT Wear Headphones – Known Defect, Extended Warranty… But Sony Refused the Repair Let me explain something that makes absolutely no sense. Sony knows the WH-ULT900N (ULT Wear) headphones have a hinge defect. The hinge where the ear cup connects to the headband cracks and breaks. It’s a widespread enough problem that Sony issued an official service notice and extended the repair coverage until January 31, 2027 for affected serial numbers. My headphones broke exactly at that hinge. I checked the serial number. My serial number falls inside the affected range Sony published. So I contacted Sony support expecting them to repair a known manufacturing defect. Instead, they refused. Why? Because I don’t have a receipt. I don’t have a receipt because I won the headphones in a raffle giveaway. So even though: • Sony acknowledges the defect • Sony extended the warranty for it • My serial number is inside the defective batch • The headphones failed at the exact defect point Sony still refused to repair them because I couldn’t produce proof of purchase. That’s the part that makes zero sense. A manufacturing defect tied to serial numbers shouldn’t depend on whether someone kept a receipt or received the product as a gift or prize. The defect doesn’t care how the headphones were acquired. The experience honestly made me feel like I was being treated as if I stole the product simply because I couldn’t produce paperwork. If Sony can identify defective units by serial number, then the repair should be based on serial number — not a receipt. Great sound quality doesn’t matter if the hinge breaks and the company refuses to fix a defect they already admitted exists. Sony can do better than this. ________________________________________ #Sony #SonyHeadphones #ULTWear #WHULT900N #ConsumerRights #ProductDefect

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent base but worthless mics Excellent base and noise cancellation, but worthless mics that pick up a lot (and even enhance) sounds around (dont use in office/outside/anywhere that is not silent)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Headphones These headphones are great, and I am not disappointed by them. Here is my breakdown of it: 1. Noise Cancelation: The noise cancellation is really good and exceeded my expectations when I bought them. While it doesn't have high-end noise cancellation like in very high-end premium models, it is still really good, and I like the transparency mode on it to hear my surroundings when I need to. 2. Sound Quality: The bass on this pair of headphones is outstanding. You can really turn up the bass extremely high on these headphones, making them perfect for movies or bass-heavy music. They are also extremely immersive, making it even better for movies. However, one very important thing you need to know is that the out-of-the-box equalizer settings make instruments and voices muffled, but you can easily fix this by adjusting the equalizer settings. 3. Controls: The controls are very user-friendly and allow me to control my music well with my headphones using the touch controls. I also like the ULT button on the side to boost the bass at any time, and I like being able to switch between noise cancellation and ambient sound. The auto power off for the headphones is extremely useful for me since I tend to forget to turn them off. I also like the Safe Listening setting that monitors how loud your headphones are and tells you when it becomes dangerous. 4. Comfort and Durability: I found these headphones to be very comfortable and fit my ears very well. They feel a little fragile, but they come with a traveling case. One thing I have noticed is that the noise cancellation can cause a pressure difference in your ears and make you nauseous. However, it isn't very common, and if it does happen, it usually goes away in under 30 minutes and never happens again. Overall, I highly recommend these if you do not mind changing the EQ and if you want a really good amount of bass and immersion.
