Amazing headphones
These headphones are so great - I just got my set today and I have to leave a review right away.
I've been struggling with a pair of expensive [famous brand] wireless headphones for months that would randomly shut down multiple times a fay and it was a struggle to get them to restart. They also had to be recharged every day. They weren't worth the money considering the trouble and irritation using them entailed.
I started looking for simpler more reliable wired alternatives and luckily I stumbled across these Sony MDR-M1 headphones and looked around at reviews and took a chance, and boy am I ever glad I did. I'm a casual user - old and retired and I like to listen to music and watch entertainment - and although these headphones are really meant for professionals, they really are a treat. They sound amazing, they are incredibly light and comfortable, and I'd like to thank Sony for producing such a great product.

Excellent studio quality sound
I pre-ordered the Sony MDR-M1, and when it arrived last week I have not been able to take them off when listening to music or video editing as they are so compfortable to use, and sound quality excellent.

Can't register the product I purchased
I bought these headphones at the Sony store with the promise that they can be used for the virtual mixing environment. I did this at Sony studios. I participated in the setup and asked about the software to activate it and I can't get any help. Trying to register them they don't have the model listed that I purchased MDR-MV1

Love the bass
These don't disappoint in low frequency range (they knock!). They will be great for my music production, recording, and mixing workhorse headphones.
