Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unexpected restarts and light leakage I bought this tv about a month and a half ago. The day I got it I noticed light leakage from the rear panel. I played with the settings and got it to where it’s not as prominent but still is visible. Then after about a week, I started having issues with the tv unexpectedly restarting. I have been on the phone with Sony tech support several times to try and remedy the problem but after numerous attempts, i still have both issues. Sony has refused to replace the tv. So far, not happy with my purchase

Want to spend over 3 grand to control your system with multiple remotes? Buy this TV. This is a known issue that has been going on for 6 months. There is no fix in sight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome and affordable 85 inch Smart Tv The Apple TV 4K (newest generation) works perfectly right out of the box in this Tv. The image is superb, sound amazing for such a thin TV and Google Tv is a good upgrade from the old Android TV. I live in an Apple ecosystem and prefer to use it but I was surprised by the easy to use of Google Tv. So far I have this Tv for at least 2 weeks and am extremely happy with my purchase. I strongly recommend this model if you are looking for an affordable yet full of features 85 inch Tv. My only complaint, that will not reduce my 5 stars to this equipment, is that the remote control should have a backlit light.

After doing a lot of research and reading many positive reviews, I went with the X91J. And I’m so glad I did. The detail of the display is outstanding. This is my first Sony tv and I couldn’t be happier. The reviews aren’t hype. This tv is the real deal. Love the huge screen, the clarity, accurate colors and deep blacks. Worth every penny!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture & panel quality, very responsive UI I couldn’t be happier with the Sony X91. It’s plenty bright, the colors really pop, the panel is uniform with no obvious DSE, the backlight is uniform, the settings UI is very fast (I don’t use the built in Android TV platform much but it seems fast), and it powers on and off very fast. Movies, sports, and video games all look great on this TV. And the price was awesome for the features. Really excited to have this TV in our movie room.

This TV gives you the ability to adjust the sound through a graphic equalizer not just a base and treble setting...very easy to adjust. Great picture, Great Sound.

Seeing the TV is even more impressive. It’s the first time I feel I may have gone to far in size but seeing the picture only makes me realize what an amazing purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Tv has it all!! Integrated Google TV and because of that I can hook up all my video game systems and Bose system to it with its 4 HDMI ports!! The color is absolutely stunning!! This TV has more controls to control your blacks and every setting to calibrate it!! Yes you can calibrate your own TV without some supervisor putting in a code to do it for you!! You can set up your antenna, Pluto TV and XMBO channels so you have 100’s of free channels available in your guide!! Now the bad stuff!! Sony really needs to expand the gigs on the Google Tv that you can add apps!! 4gigs goes down real quick with the numbers of apps you can add in the Google play store!! There are internal gigs that you can’t get to (16 I have read) that you have no access too!! On the free stuff it does occasionally glitch and you have to back out of the guide because it will not let you control it!! Sound is good but as usual your sound system will make it a lot better overall! Over all the TV gets 4.5 stars out of 5 from me because of the glitches!! Without those it would get a solid 5!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV! Highly recommend! The one negative is that i'm NOT able to download many cable providers apps to this TV. I am told it is because they dont have permission from Sony to be able to download to Sony TVs. It is frustrating because it limits what cable providers you are able to stream. Other than that one negative, the TV has a beautiful picture especially for an 85 inch TV. It would be hard to find one that is better without having to spend a lot more money to do so. I recommend this TV for sure! I just wish Sony would make it easier for the people buying their TVs to have whatever choice of cable provider they want to stream. Not sure why it is that way. But as far as the TV itself goes, the X91J has the 4K HDR PROCESSOR X1, a powerful TV processing that delivers a smooth and clear picture full of rich colors and detailed contrast. The TV also reproduces more colors than a conventional TV resulting in picture quality that is natural and precise, and closer than ever to real life, with its TRILUMINOS Display.

I read the reviews, and specs for this television, and decided to buy it. WOW! It's beyond great. You should see a football game on this thing. It's like being there. Easy to set up, and the color only needed minor adjustments to meet my requirements. I would highly recommend this television for someone that wants to be immersed in the game.

I have to say, this sucker is a lot bigger than it looks in the store. Having said that, it fit perfectly in my room. I can’t say enough about the colors, sharpness etc. You will love this tv as I do. I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews. Some scared be because they like to pick the tv apart. I don’t see what they talk about sometimes. I see a great tv. Buy it with no hesitation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow just wow I purchased a new Sony 85" 90ch and it did not last 7 days until it developed lines all over the screen. But Sony step up their game and sent me the new X91j 85" tv for the replacement. All I can say is wow! I was blown away from the picture quality. The PS5 is flawless and crisp on this tv. Weekend movie nights on this tv have been so good, that we stole an extra day from the work week to extend them. Sony has a winner with this one. So if you are on the fence about buying this tv im gonna kick you over the fence. LOL Just go buy it already.

After a lot of trouble shooting a Sony tech dude was able to tell me to shut off the hdmi settings in my direct tv controller. This information should be available online for all people having problems.

Image quality is top. They audio is good as well, although I use a Sony sound bar with wireless subwoofer. I use this TV for gaming on my PS5 and Xbox Series X, image is great on both devices. Highly recommend this product.

Haven't removed protective screen yet as I want to wait until I get it hung on the wall. FALD makes for great looking black levels. HDR pops on UHD streaming apps. Strong color resolution Number buttons on remote make for easy channel changing for OTA tv Integrates plutotv into the channel listings and guide No buyers remorse on this purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Serious blooming issues and support is a joke It's been 5 months since I have owned this TV and the blooming issues is really worrying me. It gets horrible in dolby vision mode. Tried to reachout to the customer support team and they are saying this is within the spec.Had some issues with wifi connectivity and the proposed solution was to hardwire.One of the reps from level 2 support said wifi drop is within spec.They are aimply reading a script rather than acknowledging the issue and trying to help me out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from After 2 Years, the TV Stopped Working Unfortunately after only having the TV for 2 years and with average usage, the TV will turn on but the screen is black. I have tried everything to reset it. I went back to the place where I purchased it and they said they couldn't help me. I hope Sony can assist with this as I am a big fan of the product but thought it would last me and my family a long time.
