Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you want a QLED TV, get this one Watch Andrew Robinson’s review on YouTube. He said this is the best QLED TV OF 2022. He was right. Bought the TV (65”) to watch March Madness, an upgrade from my 2014 55” Bravia LED TV. This model is truly almost ready to go out of the box, just change the picture to custom mode and auto-calibrate the sound using the remote’s microphone. Sports, movies, everything looks and sounds great. Connectivity to wireless home internet Wifi was simple and the connection is reliable for streaming. There is a new model introduced this year and the only change is a few more HDMI connections. If you don’t need 4 connections, buy this previous model at a discount. You’ll be happy you did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got both - 65” & 75” Really nice picture quality with solid black and vivid colors. At 15 to 20 feet viewing distance picture edges still sharp and defined. However, sound quality stinks. You’ll need a sound bar, subwoofer and rear sound sources. Even better - use an amp and real mid and tweeter speakers with a real subwoofer. Only then will you enjoy deep sound quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crisp picture but some serious issues Purchased two months ago. Picture is crisp and the Google interface is easy to use. However, backlight bleed is a big issue and blue tints in the picture are noticeable. Also, my unit randomly had a yellow vertical line appear. It appeared on and off for a few days before disappearing. It has not re-appeared since but I'm not confident it won't come back.

When we first watched it, needed to go into the settings and turn down the brightness because it was hurting my wife's eyes. It so bright and clear! We use a sound bar with surround sound, so I cannot speak for the audio. We found a universal remote that pairs with it and a streaming device.

If your wanting OLED performance then this is not the tv for you as all reviews state there is some blooming yes but that’s the nature or led tvs and if your looking for it you will find it but that said I’ve not seen blacks so deep on a led tv. The only bad point is the power cable that is fixed to the tv ( you have to remove a cover and internal connector ) and it’s only about a meter long. For those like me who have their wires concealed it’s a bit of a pain . That’s why it’s lost a star as this kind of tv deserves to be on a wall and easy to fit

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bright! Even when it shouldn’t be… I was able to purchase this model on steep discount which skews my value of the purchase but doesn’t change the facts. The panel is incredible. I use this tv to primarily game, so a bright, colorful, and fast panel is required. This TV hits the mark in all of these, especially brightness. MiniLED has me sold on fixing the brightness problem of traditional panels, There have been times where the scene literally feels like I’m looking at a bright summer day and has convinced me of HDR. The problem here with this TV was though, is how it handles the “glow” problem of white objects on a black background. Don’t get me wrong, the blacks are putting up a good fight against OLED, but when say white text is in the black bars like subtitles, you get this horrendous block, solid rectangle of light encasing the whole text like a box rather than a glow. It is genuinely distracting and sad to see on such an expensive product. If you happen across this for well over half of MSRP, I would say it is a solid buy, but even then, I am considering paying a few hundred extra for the OLED simply because of this issue. For example, my Samsung NU8000 that this replaces is well over 5 years old and besides it’s inferior brightness actually seems to handle the glow issue better.

I was disappointed with the upscaling and motion handling so I sent it back and got a refund of £3200. I then considered this TV as it had the very best reviews for upscaling. It was also half the price. The upscaling is indeed very good. Upscaling is way more important than most reviewers would lead you to believe. The majority of content is still NOT 4k and if the TV can’t handle the lower resolution being fed to it it can look nasty. This TV is the best upscaler I’ve seen. Regular HD content looks crisp. 4K looks great obviously but it’s the way this TV handles lesser sources that sets it apart.

Although old TV had a poorer picture and sound it could be used easily. many of the features in the menus are irritating but can't get rid of them. Sometimes the controller refuses to work, this is not a battery issue, and after a while we regain the use of the controller. Like this website it is unhelpful in use. Would not recommend as not enjoyable in use. Website no help

All my other TVs produce a dark image from Amazon Netflix. The only thing I wish different is if I could control the brightness a little better. I’m sure I can I just need to figure out how. Otherwise I love this TV. I recommend it. You get what you pay for, and I got the best.

Almost dont need soundbar. Motion response is always very good from any sony tv, google platform is alright, glitchy at times but overall decent. Overall its a very good, solid tv that anybody would love.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Closest to OLED your gonna get without buying OLED Bought the XR65X95K from Best Buy in November of 2022. Big upgrade from our previous Sony 65” X800G. The setup took quite a while as the Wi-Fi didn’t want to connect and the Google account setup was finicky but finally got everything to work. Only thing I can’t get to operate correctly is the google Chromecasting from my iPhone? The picture/colors are great. This is the closest blacks you will get to OLED without actually buying an OLED. Tv gets really bright which is great for sun lit or bright artificial lighted rooms. Handles glare/reflections as good as can be expected. There is minimal blooming, mostly with pure black screen and large white subtitles which doesn’t bother me as I don’t watch a lot of content with subtitles. For everyday general content I barely ever notice it. Cable/Blu-ray/4k & streaming movies look great. Colors really pop but look natural which is why I love Sony. Motion handling and up scaling is top notch as it always is with Sony. This is our 5th Sony throughout the years and all previous ones have been trouble free and still working. Only reason I give it 4 stars is not sure on quality and long term durability. A lot of newer tv’s (not just Sony) have had more quality control issues lately. So time will tell. Hopefully if I ever need it Sony customer service is still as great as in the past. So far great purchase and love the TV. I cannot comment on the tv speakers as we have ours hooked up to a 5.1 audio receiver and external speakers.

Google TV with Google assistant, the thousands of mini LED lights, XR backlight master drive, and the wide angle makes any seat, the best seat! The color is natural and very realistic. The audio is clear. The design is very modern and sleek. I really like the almost rimless frame around the TV. Set up way pretty easy. The TV stand has three level of heights, to choose from. My husband used it for gaming and he confirmed that he didn't notice any lag. Sony makes the best electronics, which is why I highly recommend this TV if you want to upgrade to a whole new level.

To start, it is very easy to set up and can be done with one person all the way up to lifting it in place, and then on screen prompts making getting it started a breeze. The picture is incredible, there is so much detail! One of the screen savers (which is a super cool feature) actually makes you feel like you’re falling! Having the high def pictures with background music is pretty cool to just have on the TV in the background. And the sound is really pretty good, especially when there’s no visible speakers from the front of the tv! Having them behind the screen makes it sound like the noise is coming from where you see it, which is really cool. Overall I have no complaints, this is an incredible TV!

All of the colors and pictures are so rich and deep that they take me on a trip in the movies and TV I’m watching. I’ve truly never seen anything like this TV; the sound is also all encompassing, and similar to being in a movie theater. The colors are deep and expansive during every picture frame on the screen. Out of the box, set-up was easy; the TV is heavy, so I strongly recommend two people on the lift. There are two options for setting the feet of the stand; in the middle and on the outside. I chose the middle option for the sleekest look. The TV feet are solid and heavy; this provides me with peace of mind for the TV sitting on the stand. Syncing my Google account was a breeze, and setting up the TV settings was simple. Toggling through the menu is very easy on the eyes and doesn’t block the entire TV picture, which is a nice feature. The remote is ergonomic and has a pleasant texture on the outside; the buttons are also spread out and easy to navigate. This Sony mini-LED tv is truly in a league of its own; with outstanding graphics and picture quality, watching is a totally immersive experience.

I’m not super technical, but while my last tv was only 4 years old, this one blows it out of the water! Has extra hdmi ports, the mini led is so incredibly clear, the speed is unmatched for streaming games, and the new hdmi system works with the Ps5 making it the best I’ve ever seen. It’s heavier than my last one, but at 65” that’s to be expected. If you’re hesitant, don’t be! It’s the best I’ve owned!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just amazing I am so happy with our Sony X95k, we have the 65”, and we really couldn’t be happier. I read a bunch of reviews before getting this one, all of them said it was a great TV and it is. There are so many great features to tweak the image, sound and general experience, but really after the initial setup (that was by far the easiest setup I’ve done), I was incredibly happy with how it looked and sounded without any tweaks. The image is beautifully bright, colors and contrast are deep and full, dynamic range is amazing, and as you’d expect from a 4K screen the resolution is incredibly fine. Whatever Sony used for anti-reflection works very well, our living room has windows right where you don’t want them, but the screen brightness and anti-reflective surface keeps any reflection well at bay. Something that always kills me, and the X95k is amazing at dealing with, is when there’s a fast paced scene with lots of movement, on some TVs it all blurs and you can’t follow/see it properly and it actually makes me feel a little dizzy (I don’t know the technical name for it), but this Sony has it figured out, fast action is smooth and defined, to me this is a major feature and really improves the whole movie experience. Before I connected our sound bar to the tv I tried out the internal speakers and was really impressed, for built-in speakers they are powerful and produce a rich clear sound. I love the remote control, it’s a great balance of functionality and keeping it uncluttered, it also can control our Apple TV for when the kids run off with the remote. Not that you need any other device for running streaming services on this TV, it comes preloaded with most of the big ones and can add others if needed, but more importantly it seems to have an abundance of processing power to run everything super quickly and smoothly. I’m seriously impressed at how responsive all actions are on the TV, AirPlay works amazingly with the TV and the Bluetooth connection is a great feature, I’ve only used it with headphones so far, but with a Bluetooth keyboard it’ll make YouTube etc so much nicer. The system of cable management and cable concealment is very nice and really helps to give a clutter free clean look… I highly recommend if wall mounting the TV to plug in everything and put the covers on while it’s on the feet stands and then attach it to the wall, I made the mistake of trying to plug in everything after mounting it on the wall and found I couldn’t get some of the covers on due to the way my TV mount fits. If you just use the feet, they are strong (metal), understated, and can be place in 3 different configurations from very minimal to one that allows for a sound bar underneath. What more can I say, I’m really happy with the X95K, it’s a truly high quality TV that’s incredibly well designed, I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful TV This 65 inch Mini Led Smart TV from Sony is top notch! I needed assistance to pave the TV on my stand we chose not to mount this on the wall. Quality made TV. Took a few minutes to set up google home and sync this with my TV network. I was able to sync with my FIOS provider but can’t figure out why the volume control does not work with my FIOS remote. The Sony remote is easy to use and slim. I wished the remote had some back lighting. Now for TV quality and sound… the picture is amazing, the details.. I wasn’t even aware there’s a Mini Led existed. The sound quality is superb. I don’t need to connect additional speakers to this. This TV is in my family rooms me the sun gets so much sun in the afternoon. There is no glare from the TV with the sun beaming In the room. Sony Bravia has really stepped up their game and I highly recommend this model.

The clarity is next to none and it looks great in any room. There is anti glare technology so you don't have to worry about Windows affecting the resolution. Also it comes set up with many streaming services and features and we love the smart setup of connecting to different devices 10/10!

Surpasses all the top demo screens at display in the your neigbourhood tv store. Large number of localized dimming zones give a crisper contrast/darkness ratio across the screen. I have enjoyed watching true 4k content on this tv. Another plus with this tv is the sound. The sound settings are fully configurable and pack a punch. For the first time I was able to truly experience Dolby audio in my living room. A small let down is the UI which is vanilla android/google tv compared to some lower end tv units which have their own UI OS/software. Sony could have enhanced this aspect to score more. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome TV I received a few days ago the SONY TV X95K BRAVIA XR 4K 65 inches and this is the best TV I have ever owned. First the look is incredible, very thin, you can hide all the cables thanks to the provided covers. Second the start up notice is well done and easy to follow. It describes really well all the connections available, and they are numerous. Obviously, antenna, cable TV, and optical audio output, even RS232C, HDMI 4x, Video in and USB 2x. Third is that the TV includes google TV, it helps a lot to set up the TV. When the TV goesin standby it displays pictures taken from my phone and store in my google account. It also finds all apps attached to your account. Fourth is the sound. It is amazing, most of the time the sound is not great because of the limited space to put proper speakers. On this TV I do not know how they did it but it sounds great, bass are awesome and the perceived sound is full. The sound set up is very important, and the result is great. I do not even plan to connect it to a sound system. Fifth concerns the picture quality, and in this area, this TV is just incredible. The color palette is huge and warm. Even with content not in 4K the picture is still great. The last one concerns the ability to control your TV through your WIFI with your phone. In conclusion, if you want a great TV, with a great sound and beautiful you can select this one without problem, you will not be disappointed.

The mini led technology is next level. I like the fact that it also Google compatible which makes the capabilities of what this TV can do limitless. The setup was simple and the remote control is easy to use and navigate. Sony has out done themselves once again. The picture quality is simply out of this world! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top of the line, stellar picture quality This TV replaced a similarly priced brand and is already substantially better in picture quality, sound, responsive interface, features, and user friendly-ness. The remote is so much easier to navigate, especially for my kids, than our previous tv that needed instructions to understand how to navigate through the menus. This TV is fast- there is no delay when pressing and scrolling. The sound is one of the notable features, and I was impressed with dynamic configuration that automatically calibrates optimal sound to the places you sit in the room, just by holding the remote. The picture on the TV is great in all settings, but incredible in 4K. It is bright with vivid colors and the deepest black I’ve seen on a television. There is virtually no glare from lights and it has a very wide viewing angle, which was even noticed by a guest in our home. There are a lot of advanced color adjustments to customize the TV for a variety of needs. I appreciate that there is virtually every streaming app available right on the Home Screen for easy navigation and helpful shortcuts on the remote that make it easy for my kids to find their favorite shows quickly. The only negative about the app selection is that there is no option for the Spectrum app, so I cannot watch my cable subscription without connecting a bulky cable box or purchasing additional accessories that are compatible with the app. In terms of hardware, the TV has an adequate amount of inputs for using media. All of the inputs can be concealed with close-out panels which give the back of the TV a nice clean look. The close-out panels are large enough to hold and to conceal devices like a Firestick so it’s not sticking out on the side, which is a huge eyesore on other televisions. Overall, it’s an amazing TV that really brings my television viewing experiences to life. The quality really stands out and I know I am getting the best of the best with with purchase.

Really enjoy the simplistic and bold look of the tv and the lack of clutter regarding wires is hige cause i have my gaming system, modem and router all set up in that area. The sound system is fantastic, as sounds with relation to the image make for a more engaging and realistic viewing experience. The smart tv is just that, im old school and need my remote but ive tested out the voice control features and it operates as ive intended using my voice control, simply amazing. Finally, the visual display of the tv is second to none. For example, when it comes to sharp contrast and brightness, you can readily discern tremendous depth, which allows you to immerse yourself into whatever youre watching…better yet, experiencing!

We have it on the wall right above our fireplace and it fills the place nicely. It is bigger than our previous Tv (also Sony) and it is such a big difference for us. The brightness of the picture is just right and the colors make the picture very realistic! The initial setup was fairly easy the only small hiccup was when we tried to hook it up with our gaming console but that was a user error and not a flaw of the TV. We are enjoying the smartness of Google TV and the experience itself is great. We haven’t tried the Bravia camera but that’s a plan for the near future. The sound is good however we plan on getting a sound bar for better cinema like experience. Overall, you cannot go wrong!!! Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still in awe! From the first time we turned this TV on, I have been in awe! We left our 1 year old TV up while we checked this one out, and the difference is astounding! It has a phenomenal display with many next gen features. The colors are just amazingly rich and accurate and it has a great brightness level. The cognitive processor understands how humans see things and delivers everything in the best possible way... how cool is that?! It has low latency, and a high refresh rate of 120hz which is perfect for the latest console devices. We are enjoying gaming so much more with these features. A latest 2022 update provided options for more local dimming while in VRR mode for the games with that feature. Also perfect in a brightly lit room and showing true colors, more realistic shadows and great at motion handling which reduces blurring. Viewing angles for this TV are great for gatherings when there are multiple viewers. It has a long with the thin bezel that is complementary and sleek to just about any room. We have it hooked up to our receiver/sound system, but it also sounds amazing on its own and has Acoustic Multi Audio and Dolby Atlas. All in all I couldn't be happier with it. I've played around with it and tweaked the settings to perfection for my needs.It has so many amazing features that you just don't get with other brands. I'm definitely sold on the Mini LED technology now! Just check out these colors! Bravia on the left.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great design with some minor glitches Design, Options, rich in Audio / Video enhancements but sometimes it lags from the software end. Ex: if raise volume it should smoothly show each number but it will get freeze in one number and in background the volume is getting increased. It happens even in 300 Mbps speed of streaming in Wi-Fi.
