Do not expect to be told the truth

I purchased this tv a week and a half or so after it was released. The price had already been reduced since the release date and there was a bundle going on (buy the Bravia 5 98" 2025 tv, get the Bravia 65" 2023 tv free). I did not need the 65" tv, however, there was not a way to purchase without the bundle. Given this, I contacted Sony and asked if a price match would be guarenteed if the price was lowered again within the 30-day period ... as this was a brand new 2025 tv, and I was SHOCKED when I saw the price was lowered once already. The individual I worked with through the customer service chat said that Sony DOES price match within the 30-day window and it would be no problem.
Fast forward, the price was lowered AGAIN. I reached out to Sony, this time by phone, and was guarenteed the price match once the request went through. The paperwork was in, I had reached out within the 30 day window and done my due diligence beforehand to ensure that I would get the best bang for my buck (as this was not an impulse buy or one I made lightly given it's a big and expensive purchase). After a few days I received an email from Sony stating that a price match would not be honored and they were closing my request.
This is a 2025 98" tv, with two price decreases within a month (give or take a few days) since this tv was released. I have two previous cases in the system where I confirmed on two seperate occasions by two different individuals that the price match would be honored. I reached back out this morning to speak with someone else (via chat) and they stated that they asked a manager, described the situation, but they would not honor it as it was a bundle. What a TERRIBLE customer experience! If you're looking for a tv, and it must be Sony, purchase somewhere else. Usually purchasing direct from the manufacturer guarentees they'll stand behind their word, this was not the case at all from Sony. Incredibly dissapointed with the experience and overall disregard to stand behind their word.

AMAZING TELEVISION......PATHETIC REMOTE CONTROL
This tv is unbelievable. Everything about it is perfect....with the exception of the worthless, TINY remote control. This is a $6500 Sony 98'' television. This remote is simply unacceptable. I immediately ordered a new universal Sony remote with backlit buttons and a numeric keypad and play/pause/rewind/fast forward options.
