Rated 5 out of 5 by from Even better with Fire TV Stick There was plenty of choice when it came to looking for a 65 inch OLED in this price bracket. Admittedly, this isn’t a TV calibrator’s dream since it doesn’t have the extensive controls rivals do. However, the picture and motion processing is as good as you’ll get in a TV, and that was really important for me. After adjusting colour settings I’m extremely satisfied with the results. I added a 4K Fire Stick and that has made all the apps even better due to it outputting Dolby Vision, which gives the picture a whole new vibrancy. I had to adjust picture settings further, but the results are excellent. Great sound too for when I’m not using my surround system. I’ve managed to put the centre speaker behind the TV by using the higher stand option. I’m very happy with my choice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cheaper build quality, yet more expensive… Great picture. Dumb TV (SW/UI). Sony constantly changes the design (panel back, stand, input location, bevel, remote,…etc) for the sake of change, not improvements. The all plastic back is cheap (2020 A8H was almost perfect). All of the HDMI inputs located at upper side is poor design. Cables come from underneath. Plus, only (2) HDMI inputs support 4K/120hz. The SW/UI is better, but still archaic compared to Apple and most apps or websites. There should be handles. The AC plug is extremely cheap now and doesn’t allow for upgrade to higher quality cord/plug (videophile). The stand and height/width options is better. Overall, it’s a much cheaper looking OLED TV. And the remote is ridiculously small, including the buttons. Not ergonomic and difficult to see in dark. Battery cover is difficult to remove as well. I was shocked to pay more than my 2020 OLED XBR65A8H. The price is supposed to be less with newer models, especially when they’re this cheaply made. Unfortunately, I don’t have much choice if I want Dolby Vision, except for LG. It was between this and the LG G4, but I prefer the Sony PQ. I can’t stand LED either, even mini-LED. Looks like a computer display after 10 years w/ a Pioneer Elite 1080p plasma and OLED since 2017. Also, audio is Sonos Arc 5.1.

I had a smaller older Sony Bravia and was content with that......I never knew I really would be thrilled with this new Bravia 8. I am 79 years old and watch late night tv when I can't sleep and this enhances the viewing. The picture is so clear and crisp and the color is amazing. Never thought I needed this.

It has a great picture no matter which angle you are viewing from. It also has a fantastic audio option that allows direct bluetooth connection to my hearing aids while allowing the built in sound to be controlled by the remote! THe only TV I have found that does this.

I’ve tried to improve it with the motion options but any settings other than the default ones make it worse. Maybe a software update would help? Apart from that I love this television.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Beautiful Screen With Too Much Surveillance We love this TV. The sound is awesome, and the 4K OLED picture is absolutely beautiful. Under normal circumstances, I would easily give it 5 stars. That said, if I had known at the time of purchase that the remote has a built-in microphone, I probably would have chosen a different TV. The Sony B8 asks for your location, can access audio, and with its built-in camera, potentially your image as well. In other words, this TV wants to know what you’re getting up to during Netflix and chill… and maybe even hear it too. It’s a beautiful TV, and I genuinely love using it, but I would have seriously considered returning it if there weren’t options to disable these invasive features. Because of the privacy concerns, I’m docking one star.

I didnt purchase a sound bar which meant i can use low stand height and it fits perfectly in the gap i had (unlike other 65 inch offerings). I am very happy but less rich! That said it was a good price for the quality.

Still a mystery how the optical connection to the soundbar is configured which was plug and play on my previous Sony TV. By the way had to replace that TV because of pixel failure.

I can set audio output to the soundbar but it reverts back to the TV after Turing the TV off and back on. The apps through the TV are very slow to connect and respond. The TV has shut off a few times in the middle of watching a show.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TV with a lot of issues that are hard to overcome Probably the worst TV we have had. We went from having a Phillips flat screen for 15 years that worked flawlessly. We got rid of it strictly because newer tvs had better features and also paired easier with other devices. This Sony randomly just restarts in the middle of tv shows. Frequently! No reason at all. It just powers down and back up again. Weirdest thing ever. One night it powered up at 3am when I was in bed and had been for hours. House was completely dark and silent. The TV just turned on. It was terrifying. (no kids or pets in the house that could have done it) The biggest complaint is that the sound is constantly off sync where you can see that the sound doesn't' match the lips. It's very distracting and hard to even focus on what you're watching. Tried customer service a couple of times and they removed over did a few tweaks, but nothing really stuck. We tried adding a sound bar to see if it would fix it, but that didn't help. It's unfortunate because the picture is nice.

How on earth people rave over this tv is beyond me. Switching between channels takes ages. Sony are relying on using an App to watch everything , but if you just plug an ariel in and watch ordinary tv your in for a world of pain.

Wonderful TV with excellent bright and vivid colours. Also easy to set up. The sound is amazing especially when i play through my soundbar. Free view is an additional bonus

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic with the PS5 Acquired K-65XR80 1 month ago. Easy to set up, and google android app are fast and snappy . Contrast is superb. The remote is, however, really cheap. I would wish, with a TV of this price , that Sony will provide a backlit remote.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV, shame about the aftercare. Great TV when it’s working, not even 6 months old and it breaks down then takes Sony over a month to sort it. It was then down to me to do all the chasing. Come on Sony, no good having great products and appalling customer services.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV but no Satellite TV Guide Overall the TV is great with good picture quality and features. My main complaint is that the TV Guide when using the Satellite receiver does not show any programme details -which is a real pain. This does seem to be a common Sony issue although my previous Sony Bravia TV did not have the same problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sony Bravia 8, OLED 65" Google TV Just bought this TV to replace my previous Sony Bravia 48" which we bought 32 years ago. This New 75" Oled TV is far better. Getting to know the TV has not been easy but YouTube has helped.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't watch itv live Absolutely ridiculous that you can't stream itv without casting it from your phone (which keeps crashing every 10-20 minutes). You pay the best part of £2k for a TV and you can't even watch live sport properly on it. I appreciate that this may be an issue with itv and not Sony, but there must be something you can do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sony vs Samsung Best TV I've ever had 2025. this year 2026 Samsung has slightly better picture but I'd still pick Sony, Why? Because Sony has stuck with Glass and personal preference Glass beats plastic hands down. Samsung beware Sony coming back 10 fold 2027 ill looking to make that flagship purchase with Sony TVs built to last
