Rated 5 out of 5 by from They don't make them like they used to I bought this TV about 7 months ago. It died after I had it about 3 - 4 months for no apparent reason. The repair didn't cost anything because it was within the warranty period. Now, at about 7 months out, the picture went out. Still within the warranty period, but I have to wait until they order some part for the repair. So its been about a week without the TV and still waiting. I had my old Sonny Bravia for about 20 years and had no problems at all with it. With this new model, it's been 2 repairs within the 1st year. I guess they don't make them like they used to.

I brought this home, plugged it in and the built in speakers have absolutely the worst sound. My last set had some richness. This is tinny and sounds like only a single speaker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Good TV TV is excellent. Easy to set up and looks great with streaming services and off air broadcast. Only down side is I thought this had a built in ATSC 3.0 tuner for NextGen TV like my other 50" Sony.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible Product I purchased this TV from BestBuy about 2 months ago. This TV turns itself on all by itself, even with all the settings that allows it to turn itself on are disabled. I have exhausted all resources from Sony trouble shooting, and all videos and forums I can find on the internet. Apparently, Sony doesn’t even know what causes the problem. Turns itself on randomly at 3 AM and at least once at around 1AM. Kind of odd that it turns itself on at #am every night. I have resorted to turning the volume off at night so at least it makes no noise when it does this.I will never buy another Sony product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice picture, poor support and documentation I bought this to replace an older Sony and indeed this has a great picture and great App/streaming capability. But the negatives are too strong. There is inadequate documentation of how to operate the settings online or anywhere else. Many of the settings end up greyed out with no explanation. The remote is completely inadequate. No ff or rev as an example. Forget about universal remotes because this one is paired and won't teach. Tech support has few answers to questions(new TV?) and would not even give me IR codes for the Settings function. It does integrate well with other Sony devices but there you cannot even listen to headphones and speakers at the same time. I would not recommend purchasing this line of TV

It is an entry level TV in the Sony lineup and worth the money that I paid for it. It took a bit of time to get the picture the way that I wanted, which means one may have to change some of the settings to fit your personal taste in viewing.

Really delivers on sound and picture quality!! Especially with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision, if the program you’re watching has this feature the TV automatically adjusts to whatever format it needs to provide the best quality picture and sound!!

Setting it up was quick and effortless, although updating the software took longer than expected. The TV offers a bunch of features and apps, including Google TV, which makes connectivity and streaming seamless. The picture quality is great for its size, though the sound quality could be improved. But it’s nothing a separate sound bar won’t fix. One of the standout features is the fast response time of the applications. Our older Bravia lags and freezes, but this model has been very quick and responsive. Overall, the TV has exceeded my expectations. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new TV.

Things I love about this TV: -It came with stand! -Voice control: built-in micro to control, time-saving, has google assistant -Has total of 4 HDMI inputs -Chrome-cast/Apple play compatible, Netflix, Youtube -Sound quality: Dolby Atmos (in my bedroom, it sounds like I was in a theater -Resolution: 4K, life-like graphics, everything looks super realistic -Backlight: direct lit (very bright and high contrast color) Things that people need to know -Not Energy Star certified (not saving energy) -Refresh rate: 60Hz

The remote control is easy to use and a nice sleek design. The tv is also pretty sleek. I like the variety of options this smart tv has like YouTube, google, regular tv, and much more.

I would recommend it to anyone looking for a TV. I like that it has four HDMI ports so you can connect most of your electronics and not have to worry about looking for a splitter. I did have an issue when I went to connect it to an older sound bar where the system settings would not let you change any display settings or sound settings on the TV? It just says do you want to receive your channels with a built-in tuner? You click on anything else? That is the only message that pops up. If you’re in the market for a new TV I would definitely check out the Sony Bravia three for its photo quality and built-in speakers however with it being a new piece of technology there are some glitches to work out. ???

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! This TV was such a treat to try and review. It was pretty simple to mount and set up. It has incredible clear picture quality. Images are sharp and the colors are vibrant. The sound is crisp and clear. It has a ton of options for apps and you can add apps too. I was able to easily get all out favorites set up like Netflix, Prime Video, Pandora, and YouTube. Everything is all on the tv because it is a smart tv. No need for additional devices to get those apps. The remote is sleek and easy to use. We are enjoying this new tv and would recommend it if you’re looking for a new one.

The sound is clear and great for movies and shows. The remote control has smooth buttons and not the hard buttons like the older remotes. This product is enjoyable and they have bigger versions.

It’s very easy to airplay videos and movies without any glitches (unlike my old tv). Sony constantly pushes updates that make the performance better and better. I’ve had this tv for a few months now and couldn’t br happier.

I feel like I haven’t ever seen something this clear before. It’s so easy to navigate, there’s your standard different apps you can use. I have my fire stick connected to it and it works perfectly. I’m just out of words over how great the quality of this TV is it truly feels like I’m in a movie theater. The set up was super easy and user-friendly and even setting up the TV was done by one person and it was quick!!! Just so in love! ?
