Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Visual Immersive Experience by Sony The Sony X90L Bravia 65” stunning 4K HD resolution, doesn’t disappoint. The picture quality of this full array LED TV is incredibly crisp and vibrant. This is the largest TV I have ever own. The large 65” screen size really enhances the visual experience. I really enjoy the immersive viewing experience this TV provides. The color accuracy is very impressive. Colors are rich and true-to-life and the full array LED beautifully reproduced the images adding depth and realism. In terms of sound quality, it doesn’t disappoint. I am not really an audiophile, but I really enjoy the immersive audio experience which really enhances your overall viewing pleasure. This Sony X90L Bravia has a lot of smart capabilities and it’s nice to have access to a wide range of apps, streaming services, including Netflix, YouTube, Hulu and Amazon Prime Video. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it a breeze to find your favorite content. The built in voice control really makes it easy to connect to online content. Overall, the 65” Sony X90L Bravia is a very high quality Ultra full array LED TV that excels in both picture and sound quality. Its sleek design is amazing and it looks great in our living room. Highly recommend this Sony tv.

This lightweight, thin profile, TV is designed with the user in mind. The Google TV is beautiful and has so many cool features. You can use your phone to control your TV, you can access all of your desired apps via their apps without needing something else to access them. You can also speak into the Google assistant and control. The sound quality is really lovely. There are so many customizable features to make this TV fit into your home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded expectations so far This is our first Sony TV and we were upgrading from 55 inch Sharp TV that we got 14 years back to Sony 65 inch TV XR-65X90L. The TV came very well packaged with clear instructions on how to setup the TV. We have our TV on the included stand and height increased so that we can put our soundbar in underneath the opening. Although we got the 65 inch TV, it does not seem that big in our room and fits perfectly. Very easy to setup and the included remote does all the functions perfectly. The remote is not too fancy but has all the required functions to control the TV. Remote does not have back light but it does not bother us much. Picture quality is fantastic. However, while watching some old content, it becomes little blurry. The TV sound is much better quality than most TV's. However we use a Sonos setup and have it hooked up via digital output. A point to note - if you are having issues controlling your sound system volume with TV remote, turn off Bluetooth on TV and try again. For our Sonos setup, I have to keep Bluetooth off for the remote to be able to control Sonos volume. If you do this, you cannot use Voice commands since voice commands require Bluetooth to be on. Google TV interface is very intuitive and guides you through complete setup. It brings all your content in one place. Very happy with this TV so far.

The picture is excellent and the sound when accompanied with a sound bar is exceptional. Absolutely love it.

From its Google TV operating system with no glitches very smooth and responsive to the picture and sound quality it's very good value for money. Sometimes it's hard to determine if I should use the Sony sound bar or just the built in TV speakers. The contrast and darks are waaay better than the 6yr old Bravia Android TV it replaces at the time you think your TV is good, then you get the newest model and realise "ah this is way superior" highly recommend this TV

A week later another arrived which luckily is ok. Decent picture I don’t think anyone would be disappointed. HDR looks excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely High Quality! The Sony X90L Bravia XR looks beautiful sitting on my stand. I have a 65' inch and it was a perfect size, not too big and not too small. The sides of the tv have an aluminum finish making it look classy and highly premium. The legs are slim aluminum wedges that are adjustable to accommodate the height of the soundbars. It has an impressive design that is more premium compared to other brands. There are two USB ports on the side of the tv with a video in/out port, four HDMI ports, an ethernet port, and a cable antenna port. It has advanced digital XR clear image that delivers upscaled 4K quality and upscaling quality images with noise reduction. The movies come through with vibrant colors and they really...really pop. You can see vibrant blues and reds, and I can see every detail and texture on the actor's faces. I mean I can see their freckles, acne, and even nose hairs. I could even see their makeup and if it was applied unevenly. That is how clear the image shows. I love that it is a smart google tv and comes with apps that I use such as Netflix, Hulu, Disney, Paramount, and more. The sound quality is clear and loud enough that you can keep it on level 20 and be able to hear very far or the back of the room. I think it has surround sound built in because you do not need a soundbar to be able to enjoy movies and music. I just happen to already have a surround sound that has a louder base to get that cinema experience so I connected that to the tv. However, even without a soundbar, the TV delivers great sound on its own. For gamers like my son, the quality of the game images is impeccable and so vivid that feels so real like you are in the game and it also has a gaming menu with added tools that he said he likes a lot. You can control all your game settings in one place. Sony really delivers on this model. I never had a TV with this type of quality before and I think everyone should at least experience it, cause once you do, you definitely would stick to the Sony brand.

Having not upgraded my TV for for over 8 years I thought it was time to bin my old lg 55 inch curved panel and return to good old Sony.Done me research and settled for the 65inch x90l,Al reviews saying what a great TV this is,have to say it is capable of very good images but you'll have to be prepared for alot of fiddling with the settings and just when you think you've got it spot on you sit at a slightly different angle facing the screen and colours look washed out and brightness and contrast looks totally different. For the money it's not a bad TV but was expecting more considering A.its a Sony and B.its been 8 years between this TV and my old lg,(might have to dig it out of the garage and plug it back in).Also internal speakers are rubbish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Picture The picture quality on this TV is awesome! The colors are bright and the display is sharp. Well packaged, set up was easy (for sure need two people as this TV is heavy!). Remote is easy to use and appreciate the "hot" buttons to access different apps. So far the sound quality has meet our expectations but may look into adding a sound bar down the road. Wish there were more HDMI ports as we have multiple game consoles but we're making it work!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I’m switching brands! Holy cow! I have never been so impressed with a TV in my life! Our family loves this Sony TV. Not only is the display amazing but the functionality is the best we have ever used. My husband loves that he can get right to the shows he wants to watch right from the Home Screen. My daughter says her favorite thing about this TV is that she can talk into the remote and the TV does what she says. I love the functionality of this TV. It’s super easy to use and the sound quality is great. Unpacking this TV was super easy and we were able to hang it on the same mounts as our last TV. I also love the remote, you have all the options right at your fingertips. My husband says that the quality is way better than our old TV in regards to gaming. Over all this TV is by far our best in our home and we really enjoy sitting around together and watching our favorite shows.

The picture and colors are true to color with the brightness being easily adjusted. The sound quality is amazing and I do not find the need for a sound bar. The remote has dedicated buttons for Netflix, Disney+, Prime, YouTube, and Crunchy roll. It is also good to note that there are no numbers on the remote and everything is controlled by the arrow keys. Overall, this is a great choice for a 65 inch TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big and clear picture I really appreciated that this TV had the ability to control the full screen brightness (rather than brightness as a measure of color intensity) in the setup menu. I'm soemwhat light sensitive so being able to set it to the dimmest setting the way I keep my laptop was a highlight. I realize that it's a start TV, but I disliked that I was not able to complete setup without connecting it to the internet. Sometimes you just want to be able to plug in a console or bluray player and go. There should be a full skip setup option for the internet options. The width at which the feet are set apart makes this TV difficult to use on smaller stands. I think they could probably be moved a couple of inched in on each side without compromising balance. Also, the design of the feet themselves - diamond-shaped beams standing on their corners - gives me some anxiety. Is it too much to ask that the standing part of the TV be flat on the table/etc?

This tv provides you with an amazing quality picture that is crisp and clean. When watching anything from movies, sports, fishing, and regular tv the clearness of it is outstanding. It provides you with enhanced brightness and vivid colors that makes everything look and feel so real. I was able to set up my tv with the Google home app, very easily. The app allowed me to download all the different television apps that are out there, and watch free movies. I have several Sony brand items and am loyal to this high quality brand and I love them all! Sony is one of the companies I know and trust and because of there high quality products I am a loyal customer. The tv was very well packaged and it had all the instructions inside. I am very pleased with my 65” tv and would highly recommend it to anyone who is searching for a reliable product that’s is going to last a long time!

The biggest disappointment with the tv is the Prime Video doesn’t connect with the tv. All the other apps work fine except the Prime Video app. Apparently this has been an issue with Sony tvs. If I had know about this I would have bought a different brand of tv.

They’re always clean and clear and last a good long time. Am only using a small antenna for local tv and is super clear. Also got scanned more than 100 local channels in San Francisco.

It literally makes everything look better than intended, even SDTV, could not believe it. Just wait till you see 4K on this Sony with HRD10. I have it mated with a Sony HT-A3000 sound bar, and UBP-X700 Ultra 4K Blu-ray player. The picture quality this set has, really exceeded my expectations, The blacks are very black, the color is very accurate, and to me has just the right amount of vividness. I was very surprised at how many options you have in the picture menu and settings in general. Even for sound, I like equalizer controls, this Sony has it plus other sound enhancing abilities. Speaking of sound, its built-in speakers are rather good with overall sound reproduction, even in the lower end. The tweeters on the side of the TV do give the illusion of more speakers. It's a very fast TV with lots of features. Everything I have thrown at it, it has done. Another neat feature I like is how all the products Sony release just work flawlessly with one another. Instantly seen. Great TV to have in your living room.

I am Happy to say my first Sony was back in 2004 it was a 40 inch. Very advanced for it's time, almost 20 years later still have the Bravia and was able to purchase a new 65 inch! Very pleased!

Getting turned off abrubtly, keep getting frozen then we had to unplug the power to turn of and on again. Also issue with roku streaming device, which we never faced any issues with our other lg tv.

Also, help your customers by turning of ambient light feature that drastically improves picture brightness and contrast. Had problem pairing older soundbar but customer service cane through nicely.

The only thing that corrected it was to unplug it and plug it back in. I would return it but it’s a hassle without the box. It does have a great picture and outstanding features but I can’t recommend it.

The over the air reception can be spotty particularly in bad weather, but that very well could be my roof antenna and not the TV, havent had time to investigate. Set up of TV was easy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's bigger in your house than BestBuy Love it. It's big. Put it in my bed room. Oops! It's bigger than it looked at BestBUy. I've had problems with the Ports, but got it running the way I want. Don't know if it's a technical issue or cords. I'm a shut in so can't fiddle with it and get behind it to find out. But, it's up, running, and I'm pleased. One of my complaints is, it is not native to Amazon and fire stick and so the interface start up is cluggy and awkward. Sony does a poor job of that.

For the money a great buy, definiteley several steps above garden variety tv:s. Amazing true red colors that Sony does better than anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive I have two other, older, Sony Bravia TV's, but this new one, tho not the top end, is very impressive! Picture quality is great. Sound is way better. The only thing I don't care for is that the remote doesn't have a sleep timer button and it is not backlit. For the price of this tv, I believe you will be very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best TV I have ever had So the wife and I bought our first house recently, to celebrate I splurged a bit on the living room TV and picked up a Sony X90L as I knew I wanted local dimming. All of my other TV’s are edge lit Samsung and LG units, the Sony X90L is my first “Nice” TV, the local dimming is 100% worth the cost. On movies the black borders along the edges are actually black and crisp instead of washed out black from the intense edge lighting. My only regret is now I have to upgrade all my other TV’s now because you cannot unsee just how awesome it was. We did not go OLED due to burn in risk, and Mini LED was out due to cost. If my X90 broke today I would buy another one tomorrow. But if it’s anything like my PlayStations it’s a freaking tank of a TV.

The sound is so good that, to our surprise we don’t need to buy the sound bar we were expecting to purchase. The set up was easy and straightforward. We think it is a good value for the price.

Easily attached it to my WIFI and it practically set itself up from there. I expect a lot from Sony Bravia products and have not been disappointed. It is another great Sony product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV. I've had it for 3 weeks now (since Jan 16th). Going from 55" to 65" was fantastic. 75" would've been better but one step at a time... Seriously, I'd been researching TVs for a friend and he went with the Sony 77" A80L for $2,699.99 from BestBuy. I opted for the $1,098 65X90L from Amazon. The OLED A80L is gorgeous. I could NOT be happier with my decision to go with the X90L. It is truly stunning. I upgraded from a 2019 TCL 55R625 which was fine. It's upscaling and SD content handling was as good or better than most current TVs. But nobody comes close to Sony's image processing, upscaling, smoothing, etc. It took a minute to get used to the new OS environment. I've had Fire stick and Roku for 3 and 5 years respectively. Google TV is not much different from Amazon's implementation of Android which is much more open than Roku.

Let me tell you the 120HZ experienced it for the first time here and it’s absolutely incredible! Watching Disney plus and experiencing a full on IMAX experience with this tvs quality and vibrant colors it’s just crazy. I love this tv best money I ever spent, the tv is a monster let me tell you that. The sound from the tv is phenomenal but definitely get a surround system if you buy this tv to experience the full on theater imax feeling.
