Exellent and Compact Product
This card reader is very compact and easy to use. It allows space for other items to be plugged in to the USB next to it as well, which is very helpful. I would recommend this to anyone.

Needs an Elbow
Uses: Laptop, in and out of docking station.
Review: The compact size makes it very nice to carry around or wear on your lanyard. This is a positive for me, as I'm accustomed to large card readers with lengthy cords, etc. The downside to this design is that the USB ports on the laptop are naturally situated close to other ports (or jacks). This results in the card reader inadvertently covering a jack you need to access. OR if your docking station covers your available USB port, then the reader has to be located on the back-side of the docking station.
Recommendation: What might help is an elbow to bend the reader out of the way to access certain ports or get a short USB extender for times when it is needed.

Functional on multiple OS's
This works as described and I've verified it works on Linux (mint 19) and MacOS. It's obviously very portable. The one downside is that it covers up adjacent USB ports.

This item didn't work for me after 2-3 weeks. I like the fact that it is foldable, however it is not a quality item especially if it is needed frequently.
