Very Slim - study the instructions carefully!
it's the slimmest mount i've ever seen and i've seen them all (i'm in the av industry). crazy thin, but it is a bit tricky to install since it's so unique. you'll need to carefully study the instructions and template to get the tv placed exactly where you want it. if you take the time to do this, the end result is amazing.
you may not hit any studs in your installation so you will need to get appropriate mounting hardware like 1/4" snaptoggles from hilti or equivalent. you must have at least 4 per bracket, 8 total, at a minimum. this will be more than sufficient in 1/2" drywall.

Lousy mechanical design
i install tv mounts professionally and and both times i've used this mount have been disappointing.
the thickness of the metal is thinner than generic tv mounts. so if you use a high torque drill to attach the mount to studs, you risk deforming the mounting plate. the anchor screws are phillips head, rather than a standard hex head, which means it is easier to strip them unless you take the additional step of predrilling pilot holes. since the mount is two separate pieces, you have to use 2x as many screws and not only do you have to ensure that each one is level, you also have to make sure they're aligned with one another. there are also plastic components in the mount itself (which i've had break in 1 attempt); on typical mounts, all of the critical parts are steel.

Worst bracket ever
i’ve mounted over 2000 tv’s and never experienced so mucb frustration with a bracket than this one. it doesn’t make any sense. the parts behind the tv stay loose, the process of hanging it to the wall is incredibly difficult, especially if it is in an enclosed tv console, you can’t reach it, you can’t see it, you can’t adjust it. stop producing it.

the slim fit is nice, but the mount itself is poorly designed and the instructions are less than clear.
basically the instructions say you have to put each of the brackets into a stud at a specific location that's starred -- unless you plan on adding blocking behind the wall, it really comes down to luck if you have a stud exactly where you need it to be.
they should have made these brackets wider (~24") so you could guarantee two studs per bracket, since the instructions call for four screws/bracket. if you have 16" on center studs, it's impossible to place 4 screws into studs for each bracket.

Worst design, screws and instruction manual
it’s obviouse to me that the team or the person who designed this mount doesn’t have the basic knowledg about wall framing and studs in the wall. every time i get hired to put one of these on the wall, i should prepair myself mentally to be able to discuss with customer and explain to them that you can’t mount this horrible mounting bracket in the middel of the wall, because it’s highly depends on the location of the studs. beside that each plate can only catch one stud and you can’t really choose the location of the screws.
instruction manual is just trash, have nothing more to say about that.
and the last but not least are the worst screws they sent with it. who uses a flat head screw to mount a tv? they slipp every time without exeption.

Terrible mounting for such quality TVs
i'm blown away that samsung thinks this is a suitable mount for their qled frame tvs. the brackets are mediocre and rely on studs in order to mount. not only that but they're only rated to mount on brick or concrete walls. there is 0 indication of this as you're buying this tv. i'm about ready to return the whole tv at this point.

Perfect Low Profile Mount / Easy, But Not Simple
great mount. i love the low profile and the multiple installation options for the 85" tv.
note: if you are not mechanically inclined, don't have basic math skills, a decent collection of tools, and a splash of patience, get someone who does to install it for you. tip: a laser level makes quick work of it vs. a hand held level.
the provided materials are content rich in order to cover a large number of applications and mounting options - once i isolated the materials that applied to my tv, i didn't need 80% of the other content. the illustrations provide necessary detail for a fairly straight forward installation.
highly recommend if you have the means to install it.

Very very poor design
i agree with the other reviews. very poorly designed and not able to even hold the tv.... samsung, please do not recommend this mount for tvs which need the absolute best.... the weight of my 85inch tv is enough to embarrass the designer....

Stud problem resolved
yes, it can be tricky to use. but once you have the right equipment, it goes up easily and is a true no gap mount. i also struggled with getting the plates to mount in a stud, but after some youtube help, i discovered snap toggle anchors that can hold over 200lbs. these easily solved my problem and had no issues with the mount. i just think these should be included and it would solve many peoples problems.

Slim as advertised, but tricky to install
as other people have noted this is more difficult to install than a typical mount, so you might want to hire a pro to install this mount for you. however if you do it yourself, just make sure to measure everything several times so you know how your tv will end up on your wall. also, a laser level helps a lot to line up the two brackets if you have one. i found that you can hit studs on each side of the tv with at least 2 screws top to bottom in a modern home with typical studs on 18" center, so i didn't have an issue. in the end, the look was very clean and unique to this product.

QD-OLED S95B NOT a good choice for this mount
if you're looking to use this on the new s95b (i have the 65") do not buy this. there is no reference to the s95b in any of the instructions whatsoever. i'm very handy and can figure things out, but the vesa hole pattern on the s95b is not in a typical place on a set, it's much lower. the top mount holes are a little less than 12" from the bottom of the set. the bottom holes are only 3" from the bottom and this would force me to use the upper holes so it would be better balanced. but nope, 4 different screw lengths are wrong. i could use the longest ones, but i would need to use the set of plastic "spacers" that come with the tv and a second set that comes with the mount, pushing the set an additional 1" away from the wall

Support guaranteed me that this would work with my SAMSUNG QN65Q60RAFXZA Flat 65" QLED 4K Q60 Series (2019) Ultra HD Smart TV, had to purchase a plank of wood to mount to wall studs, then I even had to space it differently than any of the included templates only to discover that the TV felt incredibly unstable and hung so far before the mount that it is visible when hung. Definitely not the correct mount for this TV. So happy I spent $130 on it.

dumb design - two pieces right in between studs
i cannot understand why they thought this was a good design. the mount bracket is in two pieces that are each quite short. i'm trying to center my tv, but the brackets land perfectly in between my studs. unlike most mounts, which have multiple mounting holes across the length of the base, this mount cannot be attached except for in very specific places. i was excited to have a low profile mount, but this is completely useless.

Please avoid this mount
Samsung sold me this mount with S95B OLED TV. Doesn't flush to the wall and very hard to install. Installing instructions are super confusing and all over the place. I would recommend to stay away from this product.
