While the the pixel resolution is better than my previous curved monitor, it doesn't appear to be as sharp as my HP AIO. I didn't want an AIO configuration any more because it's difficult to upgrade parts of the system without replacing the entire system. This monitor was a good solution. My only real complaint is when I start up my new desktop, the monitor will start up with the system some of the time. At other times the screen remains black. When this happens none of the monitor buttons appear to do anything and the only way to get the screen back on is to unplug the power cord and plug it back in. Is there a better solution to wake up the screen?

I like to use a smaller screen because i feel it gives me the upper hand seeing everthing. But with my viewfinity, I REALLY SEE EVERYTHING! The curviture is impressive and the sleek style with its flawless design sets this monitor apart from any other screen I've seen.

The colors were not as vibrant as I thought they would be and not as sharp. Some resolutions are hard to read text. Perhaps it would be better as a gaming monitor but that was not what I purchased it for at the time.

This monitor has several different ports, hdmi, usb C and micr usb and the cut out at the back for the wires let you tuck away those wires seemlessly without effort. So in regards to the picture quality, amazing. I was comparing it to my TV which is a Qled and it has nothing on it. Overall you’re getting a great monitor with lots of features and up to date settings.

Usb-c thunderbolt 4 port powers my mac and a pc is connected to a hdmi port. One keyboard and mouse controls both devices. I'm not overly concerned with the display to be great as an oled/odyssey monitors. I was looking for a decent display with these features. This is a pretty great setup.

The KVM switch was the determining factor for me to buy this computer, it simply does not function. The mouse/keyboard need to be connected to the monitor to function on the KVM switch, but cannot control anything attached via HDMI cable. 2. The functionality is just plain poor. Endless connected to the upstream USBC cable, good luck using the monitor as advertised. The downstream cable cannot display any video and is only used for data sharing. This isn’t exactly clear in the product description and took 3 hours on with 5 tech support agents and being sent for repair for anyone to tell me this. 3. All repairs are outsourced to people with very limited product knowledge. Nobody has been able to accurately explain why this product is not functioning as advertised and it’s shocking how little these people know about this product’s functionality compared to how it’s advertised. Now about the service: Not a single person can explain why the KVM switch is not functioning and nobody from the actual product team is able to help due to policy. Everything is outsourced and absolutely shameful. I was initially offed an accommodation or return, which I said can be a later solution if we can figure out the problem. Now, with no solution found, this is no longer an option and my only choice is to accept the product how it is or send it in for another “repair” of which was outsourced the first time and it took me reading the repair company the product description for them to attempt a repair. Mind you Samsung said they would cover shipping costs and I still have not been reimbursed for those (even with a receipt). Terrible product, terrible service, impossible team to work with. Do yourself a favor and buy from any one of their competitors.

It is also invaluable to me as a method for staying in touch with family and friends through social networking. In a world where we are all supposed to be connected through a thousand interlinked devices it can still be difficult to find the time for regular meanigful interactions with the people closest to us so anything that helps to bring us closer together is a godsend. I cant say that im always dilligently working and that my monitor is only ever displaying spreadsheets and emails but i often find myself streaming videos at times when I should be focusing on other tasks because the resolution is so clear and the images so life like that it's almost like living the experience.

I purchased the prior version of this monitor that was pure white with white cables, this one might as well be what a white monitor looks like, when it turns cream-ish and why does a 'white' monitor come with a black cable package? I wrote to Samsung and they wanted me to buy a white cable for $27 plus shipping. Are you kidding me? Added to this, the monitor is not borderless, not even close. You'd think after 5 years, the tech would have improved, beyond going from Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 4. Suppose the stand is an upgrade / downgrade. It works better, but the new base is so bland. Good, only if you want to cover it with your MacBook, and you will, because who wants a cream sheet of metal on your white counter? Tech-wise. The manual control is better, the software is the same, with little to no options. Overall... A decent monitor that could be great. Oh, get yourself a pair of HomePod minis, the speakers are horrible with no bass reproduction at all.

But after setting it up, I noticed a dead pixel right in a spot that’s impossible to ignore. I contacted Samsung support, who suggested getting a replacement from the store, only to discover more dead pixels on the new one. I'm also returning the second monitor and will likely have to consider a different model. It's such a letdown because this monitor had the perfect size and resolution, and the white bezels matched my setup perfectly. No one’s more disappointed in the quality control of these monitors than I am.

Built in speakers are good but not fantastic. Has a thunderbolt input and only a single downstream thunderbolt output port. It could use another one. Automatic video detection that select the the port to be used but is slow to react and sometimes does not detect at all. The solution is to power down the monitor off if this happens then power on again. Overall good quality and states that it is made in Mexico.

This later version is less nicer in terms of the exterior design. Compared to the size and price, I think it could have had better look. The previous version with a grey round stand and glossy back looks much prettier.

Been using this monitor for a while and the screen quality and response time of the VA pixels are much better than you’d think for a monitor at this price. The 100hz refresh rate actually looks like 100hz, and on a VA panel, this is impressive. It handles all my open windows well too as I hoped for, so that’s great. I do love how an ultrawide monitor adds a TON of emersion when playing games and watching content.

A gorgeous 3,440 x 1,440 Resolution with a 1000R immersive Curved Screen. With 1 billion colors and HDR10 it will pop of the screen. It has 2 Built-In 5w Speakers. For us multitaskers The S6 features a Built-In KVM Switch. One keyboard and one mouse is all we need for multiple sources. It has a wide 21:9 Aspect Ratio with a blazing 100Hz Refresh Rate. I love the gaming performance with a 5ms (GTG) Response Time and AMD FreeSync Gaming on my pc and game consoles is a joy. Especially in picture by picture mode. I spend many hours a day in front of a screen and I take eye health very seriously. And it's great to know Samsung does also and provides us a TUV Certified Intelligent Eye Care monitor. I wish it had a few extra ports but it has everything needed 1 USB-C Port1 LAN Port1 HDMI1 USB 3.0 Hub. I really feel like this monitor hits on all basis. If you Game go to school or run a business it is a great monitor for everyone. Especially when you consider all the great specs and features that you get at this price point. The only glitch so far was one morning it decided it didn’t want to connect to my Mac. After testing all the connections and looking on line for glitches, I unplugged it from power and reconnected it to power and everything went back to normal. Another negative is the cords that come with it should also be white so more aesthetically pleasing from the back like an LG monitor.

The customer service agent started to set up an in home repair but then changed it to mail in only "due to its size". They also tried to tell me it was already out of warranty but at least we got that resolved. I can use the HDMI port as an alternative until the repair occurs but I CANNOT be without the monitor (I do not have a spare just sitting around and I need the computer daily). So if you need a daily use monitor, this is apparently not for you

The infinity display and high-end finish on the frame made it truly impressive. The true white color was perfect. Unfortunately, the speaker stopped working after five months. I sent it back for repair, but they couldn't fix it and issued me a credit instead. Since the Viewfinity S5 was no longer available, with the credit, I ordered the S6 white, which was supposed to be an upgrade. However, it turned out to be the opposite of stunning. The white frame is almost beige, and it's not a true infinity display—there's a black frame around the picture inside of the beige frame. The picture is not at all the S5 - it was crisp and vibrant, but the S6 is dull and lackluster. I wish I could have my S5 back; I would have just purchased new speakers. Very disappointed. ALSO People want quality monitors in light colors. It is evident because you sell out of the white ones quickly. Give the people what they want. More minimalist. Please stop shoving black monitors down our throats - have your female gamers and business folks in the mix, too, in conversations with design.

Overall, the build and quality are top-notch, and the setup was easy. I was initially worried about the glare/discoloration from the curved screen, but have not had any issues so far. The built-in speakers are decent, and it's nice to gain back some much-needed desk space. I got this monitor to use for both work and light gaming, so the single cable USB-C connection and charging make the transition quite easy. Personally, I found the monitor too close when placed directly on my desk and moved it to the window sill to be slightly farther away. This could just take some getting used to, or I may just get a separate monitor arm to have more flexibility in placement. Overall, it's a solid monitor for anyone that wants to use it for work and play.

I feel less strain on my eyes looking over spreadsheets and files for long periods of time. This was also a size increase for me, so the extra space has saved me time scrolling back and forth. I highly recommend.

However, after about 15 months, one of the two has developed 2 dead pixels and the other a single dead pixel. I'm usually quite happy with Samsung's quality, but these are the first monitors I've ever had that randomly had pixels die over time - especially such a short time.

The visual quality and ultra-wide/curved elements make it fantastic for both work and gaming. Speakers and KVM have both been game-changers. I'm thrilled with the quality of the monitor. That said, I think the product photos are misleading. One of the reasons I chose this monitor over others I was comparing it to was its color. In the photos, the monitor appears to be crisp, bright white color. In reality, it's a very, VERY warm white - nearing a yellowish-cream/beige color. It is listed as warm white at the bottom of the specs, so I put that 100% on myself for not reading the fine print, but I was admittedly disappointed/thought I received the wrong product when I first opened the box. If you are looking for a bright white monitor to match a certain decor or aesthetic vision, this might not be the one for you. Otherwise, this is a great monitor.

There is no quality control at all. This is an unbelievable product. They said it would take a long time to exchange the product and I am very dissatisfied with this policy. Samsung's problem of not properly inspecting the product cost me my time.

But seeing the view quality of this monitor reiterated for me that everything happens for a reason :-). The crystal clear picture from any angle, the graphics & color quality are fantastic & the curved screen is a nice upgrade I didn't think about until I got this. You can see everything perfectly from varied distances which is appreciated when I'm multitasking. I'd recommend this monitor for it's quality, ease of use, price point & Samsung overall reputation in electronics.

Since the monitor is wide hence I can see more excel cells which makes financial modeling and other similar work very easy. I also love the pixels quality because the screen looks great in person, the colours are really accurate, I’d better than the XDR’s! But yeah when ever I’m bored with my application I instantly make a switch to YouTube or Netflix and the quality is way high up, incase someone is looking for monitors options they should definitely opt in for this, I’d personally recommended this to all the WFH people.

I work on a lot of data, PPT, and spreadsheets and it helps to be able to view the information side by side. If using a single application, it helps to center the app or else the curve is a little disorienting. High resolution and also great for wide screen videos. Looking to purchase the larger one for another set up.

The crisp colors and eye care options allow me to use it for long periods without eye fatigue. The connectivity options come in very handy as one thunderbolt wire charges, connects Ethernet and screen to the monitor which helps minimize wire clutter for a clean desktop. The speakers produce good sound that is crisp. It's also lightweight and easy to adjust to different heights and angles when needed. Overall this is a great purchase that I would recommend to anyone looking for wide monitor for multiple use scenarios.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TERRIBLE Customer Service from Samsung I bought this monitor in November of 2024 when it was on sale to go along with putting together my own desktop in the spring. The actual desktop construction had to wait until mid April to complete, but since the machine had a 3 year warranty, I wasn't concerned about it. Flash forward to today, when we finally open the box and notice that one of the cables is missing. The power cord is present, as is the HDMI cable, Thunderbolt cable, and what I believe to be the USB-B to USB cable. There is no DisplayPort cable as promised. We look at the Quick Setup Guide, which seems to be the main place where the cords are listed. They list the same cords as above: power, HDMI, Thunderbolt, USB-B to UCB, and DisplayPort. The Guide also says, "Contact the vendor where you purchased the product if any components are missing." So I took a photo of the cords I did have, and followed the Quick Setup Guide and got on Samsung Customer Service Chat, which was my first mistake. The first rep took my information, and told me that while she couldn't help me, she was going to connect me to the Warranty Support department to send out my missing cable. I thanked her, waited, and was brought to someone who told me he was from Samsung Care, which I assumed was the warranty department, and that he'd "be my Samsung Pro" for this call. He then told me that he saw our chat, "is routed to Mobile technical team, we have limited access," and that he would have to transfer me to someone _else_. Okay . . . It was now a half hour into my call, I had been transferred twice from Customer Care to "Samsung Care" (which may or may not be Warranty Support) Mobile Technical team, and from Samsung Care to someone else. Again, I was asked for all of the same information despite giving it twice, and despite them looking at the earlier part of the chat. The third rep then kept me waiting for over 20 minutes, during which I had to ask if I could go get my dinner and bring it to my desk. After keeping me waiting for 20 minutes, he then told me that (despite what the Quick Setup Guide says) if I wanted even a _power_ cable for the monitor I would have to purchase one myself. I pointed out that this was not what the Guide said, and that my machine was under warranty. He then told me that no, it wasn't that I was simply responsible for all the cables myself. It was that I had waited 30 says to open the box, and that "a replacement ticket cannot be generated if its past the 30 days from the date of delivery." All in all, I spent an hour on the phone with Samsung Customer Care, received absolutely no help and barely received understanding on what I was asking, and wasted my time as well as money. I also noticed that the main warranty information in the package I received covers . . . Canada. Yep, just Canada? That seems . . . odd, for a package shipped from a warehouse in the US. Given this, I'm already dreading the possibility that my machine might be one of the others with dead pixels and lines. So far, I am deeply unimpressed with Samsung's willingness to do right by its customers and policies.

It's a whooping 34" inches which is more than enough to get my wow factor up and running, but then it's curved too!!! I can see a perfect veiw no matter where I'm at in my room. Thank you Samsung I really appreciate you all's hard work over there... It's changed my life. I used to not like staying at home, now I love just doing my own thing on my S6 viewfinity... I highly recommend it to everyone no matter what you might use it for. I use mine to watch movies, play a lot of games, and stream shows. And everyone once in a while you even might catch me playing a game.of solitaire but don't tell anyone!!! (Shhhh :)

Only negative comment is it does not have an indicator light to tell you if the monitor is on or off. It would be nice to have this indicator light. The other comment is that some time the power button (to turn it off) does not respond. It always happens after I shut down the laptop. Maybe the monitor gets into a “unknown” state for several seconds after powering off the laptop, and it doesn’t respond to the power button during this “unknown” state.

I took out one star because the monitor looks to be a return. There was no screen film cover, looked dirty around the edges of monitor and some parts have scratches.

My experience with this monitor is a mix bag of incremental joy as the time goes by. Honestly I am not going back to anything less than the standard it is setting for me day by day. It took me sometime to get used it. When I was at the store I wasnt sure if I should get this one or not, but pulled the trigger because of the price point and fearures. I use it for streaming, gaming, and editing videos in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, and it’s been a total game-changer. The 1000R curve pulls me right into the infinity of whatever I’m working on or watching. and the ultra-wide QHD resolution makes multitasking so much easier. I can have multiple windows open side by side without feeling cramped—perfect for video editing. Plus, the color accuracy is on point, which is a must when working on footage. Gaming is super smooth thanks to the 100Hz refresh rate, and even after hours of editing or binge-watching, my eyes don’t feel strained like they used to. It’s honestly the perfect balance of work and play, and for the price, it’s a steal. I appriciate this monitor everyday a little more often after watching films and gaming session. Highly recommend!

KVM switch works most of the time but sometimes it just stuck on one screen and don't switch to another screen. Interestingly, KVM stuck on the computer with USB C connection but all it requires plug off and plug in the wire to fix the switching problem. other than that, it's a great monitor, good color and brightness, reasonable speakers and the text look crisp.

It's also helpful because it's compatible with most laptops so it's recognizable with my non-work laptop and integrates easily with a hub.
