Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best tv ever I upgraded from an Samsung 85 to a 98 n wow there’s a huge difference not 1 single issue whatsoever Clicking around is so much faster and up to date feels very modern Great way to turn your house into your own personal movie theatre I mean For gaming I have a ps5 pro and the graphics are out of this world the amount of details and the performance, it’s amazing how advanced is technology any game I connect to it just performs at its best Also I have a Samsung fridge and a Samsung washing machine & dryer and I love getting notifications thru my screen and also control on the app smart things this tv overall is a 1,000 out of 10 The bigger the tv the better I’m super loyal to Samsung home appliances and I believe in how much they put into these products for us worth every penny was at a very fair price as well Have to work hard to get things like this but my favorite part is the face of people that come over see the tv , I highly recommend this tv to everyone make sure u mount it with the Samsung turntable tilt mount it’s just so amazing I’m considering getting another one for the master bedroom I’m just waiting for the latest one. Go get this tv don’t think about it just buy it and you will not regret it. Looks small thru picture but huge in person trust!

We use a lot of Samsung products and tho so the first really bad problem! Thank goodness we had Beat Buy extended warranty or we would have been up the creek without a paddle!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY. Delivered broken, bad support, delayed Summary: Delivered broken. 5 hours with customer support. Several delays on shipping. Stressful. No accountability from Samsung. Look at some of the other 1-star reviews and you will see this is an unfortunate trend. Long story: I purchased this TV as a Black Friday sale and was planning to have it up for a Christmas party. Issues I encountered: 1) It was delivered in ~two weeks, which is already slow 2) Samsung makes you work with a 3rd party logistics company, which is a hassle even if they performed adequately 3) The TV it was delivered BROKEN with long lines of broken pixels horizontally and vertically on the screen 4) Samsung and the 3rd Party Logistics company passed me back and forth regarding the resolution process. No single point of contact. They also make you wait on hold for long periods of time (30+ minutes) and subject you to senseless questions. They also do not offer compensation for inconvenience unless you ask. When I did request.. the amount they offered was nominal and eventually was rejected or not followed up on. Their customer support process seems to be to make the customer a project manager who must work with the various parties and help the support people problem solve on next steps. At one point, they instructed me to box up the broken TV to help with the pickup... that's like putting toothpaste back into a tube.. would have taken hours, so I refused. The first line customer support people are not able to help much, so I needed to escalate to their supervisors at both Samsung and the Logistics company. One of the worst customer support experiences I've ever had. 5) The date to pickup the broken TV and drop off a new one was weeks out. Into the new year. When asked to escalate, the customer support's response was "we'll try, but there are no guarantees". so basically, I was moved to the back of the line. 6) Eventually, I was able to escalate and get a delivery timeslot that was before the holidays. However, when the time came - the logistics company only picked up the broken. they had no idea about dropping off a new one. this was despite multiple assurances from customer support from both samsung and the 3rd party logistics company. 7) Finally, I asked for a refund considering all that happened. They said they would put in for one, but they would first have to wait until they received the TV back from their logistics company... as if that was somehow my responsibility. they did eventually provide the refund, but it was hard for me to trust that it would come after all that had transpired. 8) I had to keep the broken TV in my living room as it is too large to move/store. Samsung didn't seems to care. 9) As mentioned, no compensation was giving for this terrible inconvenience and several hours on the phone with customer support. To be fair: The TV itself seems ok. I was able to use it with the broken screen. But I ended up going with the LG equivalent, which was delivered in a couple days, installed for free, and was $600 cheaper. The LG product is great, seems to run smoother, and have better features. Needless to say, we are no longer a Samsung household.

I was hesitant moving to Crystal from QLED but got this set for $1899 (including 5% off using the store credit card). Its huge, the picture looks great. I viewed OLED demo on you tube and was impressed. Does it have the "inky" blacks of OLED or Mini-LED? Nope, but it looked nice enough and my bank account looks nice too with the money saved from purchasing a higher priced set. Most people will be very happy with the performance and I highly recommend this TV!

Picture quality is pretty good for size and price, and it fit perfectly in my very large living room. The only negative I will give it is the physical setup of the TV. The software setup was easy, and the stand goes on easily, but getting the TV out of the box is a whole other story. Getting the top half of the box off and all the foam was easy, but getting it out of the base foam there just seems to be no easy way. There needs to be some easy access hole that you can get your hands through to be able to get under the TV when picking it up and not potentially damage the screen. There is just no default way to get under it, so you find yourself ripping off foam to do so. Read some other reviews about the return process being a pain, so I did want to comment there. I have had to return the TV twice. First one had a large hole in the side of the box. There didn't appear to have any physical damage, but when we turned on the tv the side of the TV where the box hole was had a light of light blooming. Second TV packaging was perfect, but when we got it out of the box the screen must have been cracked on packaging or something because the whole side of the screen should damage when turned on. Both of the times I took pictures and use the Order Support chat feature, and both times within 10min a new TV was scheduled to be delivered in a week. All I had to do was send them pictures, which was done through the chat, of the issue I was having. Super easy. The delivery company was very communicative on both occasions. I had no issues with them either. I imagine a TV of this size is very prone to damage on shipping, so it didn't necessarily surprise me. However, as mentioned Samsung support was extremely easy to deal with to get another scheduled to be sent my way.

I own many other samsung products, but this one I didn't like the quality, as it had techincal issues and I decided to return it but these guys took 3 weeks to get back to me saying that since I have accepted a partial discount(this one too was not fully refunded as per the agreement), and now they cannot accept the return on this, though I tried to return it before the window was closed. No where in their clause or agreement they mentioned that if I accept the partial refund I am not eligible to return the TV, this is absolutely ridiculous, for Samsung's reference I am putting the case # 256652474 and order # SA031205983 here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Defective from factory and they do not exchange After a couple month the TV started to show some defects on the screen and the support department is saying that is physically damaged, but if that is true it happened from factory and now they do not want to exchange it for a new one, this is absurd and sad. After many years of using Samsung products, never again!!! I have been robed blind, so beware that Samsung will not take responsibility for a defective product and will blame you with a bad excuse. Even worst Samsung technicians came to my home and verified is was not physically damaged but still Samsung will continue to say it was.

I had to file a warranty claim and now I have to wait another 7-14 for the missing parts. I have 5 other samsung tv's in my house but this one is likely my last.

My TV decision came down to either this TV or an LG and I am happy I went with Samsung. One thing I will say though, is that in order to get a more accurate image a detailed color balance is needed with an 11 point white balance as the stock preferences can be either a bit dull, a bit oversatured, or deep red.

Then, hell after that: 1) first, the TV turned on by itself, at maximum volume, 2am in the morning The crazy on/off on its own continued. I called Sam’s Ng service who walked me through several attempts to fix the problem: none worked. Then the technician decided to walk me thorough a factory reset 2) after a factory reset, TV will no longer pair with remote control I now have a 98” brick in my living room. And the service center is refusing to service it (in the country I moved to: Brazil) despite of Samsung claiming to have international warranty on premium TVs. Very disappointing. I’m ending my long honeymoon with Samsung.

Great TV, great picture, also easy to use.settings, etc. Paired it with a Samsung Q990 soundbar a couple of days ago. Wow. My daughter and her PS5 love it too. We both have 65" OLEDs C2s as well. She couldn't wait to bring her PS5 over fast enough. She was lovin it. 98"..............TV size does matter.

Purchased it on Apr 27 2024 and it has functioned/performed very well; I'm sure it will continue to do so for quite some time. Congratulations to Samsung for an outstanding product! (I just know what series it is - couldn't find it, so I just selected one at random from those indicated)

When I'm ready to play all I have to do is turn on my controller. Not to mention the Xbox streaming feature. With a wired internet connection, you don't even need a Xbox for real. It's a whole package. With Bluetooth capabilities it makes a easy setup for a theater quality experience. Hands down the best tv purchase.

The TV sound great without the stereo. But I like the cinema effect. You an sit anywhere in a 20 X 24 room and see the TV in any angle. I also brought the 80 in for my man cave. You can't go wrong with the Samsung products as we have about five more Samsung TV in the house.

We connected the system through a e-ARC interface on our home theater and it worked flawlessly allowing us to control the volume from the TV remote. It also shut down the stereo when we turned off the TV. Another feature was he integrated apps that allowed us to use the TV to access different streaming services vs a secondary device. The picture quality is excellent and it is almost like being there. Since it was 4K, we upgraded our streaming services to enjoy more clarity. Excellent product.

I am very dissatisfied due to the screen getting cracked when a ping pong ball thrown from a 5-year-old cracked the screen. My opinion is that a screen the size of 98" should be able to withstand at least an impact from a ping pong ball if not a little more of an impact. That being said I had no option but to replace this TV and due to this experience, I chose to go with a different manufacturer in hopes they provide a more durable product.

With this big screen I can easily read subtitles. The sound quality is very good. I like to listen to some classical music and it comes through very clear.

I have numerous other samsung tv’s thT have been running strong for years. For a brand new tv, they should not fail so quickly. I am very hopeful that this is not an ongoing situation.

I use the Smart Things and purchased the Smart Things Dongle to control different things around my home. I love the quality of the picture on the TV. The remote control is solar and has a charging port so no more need to buy batteries. I definitely recommend to everyone who comes to my house and asks about my TV.

Paired with the Samsung Q990D soundbar, which allows you to use both it and the TV speakers simultaneously, it's like having your own high-tech movie theater in your living room. The picture and sound quality are mind blowing. We use it for everything from gaming to playing our kids' favorite videos to streaming sporting events, movies and concerts. I have a lot of Samsung appliances (smart fridge, washer/dryer) and Samsung TVs, but this is by far the best purchase I have ever made from them. Making it all work seamlessly together with the Samsung Hub/SmartThings App is icing on the cake. I can't stress enough how thrilled I am to own this product. 10/10 on price, quality, value and overall experience...

There is nothing like a 98" TV! I think I have finally reached the proper viewing size. For movies, it's like being in a theater. For sports, it's like being in the stadium. We are also using a soundbar, as opposed to my built-in Bose speakers, which I have been using for the past several years, and the sound is truly like being there. I am not a TV expert but I can immerse myself in what I'm watching without thinking about needing a better TV. That's saying something.

TV was late, several agents promised to give me $170 if I came late and didn't make good on that promise. Delivery team had no idea what they were doing, and didn't mount the TV even thought I purchase a bundle that included installation. I ended up having to pay $200 for a third party to install.

I use this TV to the max! It to connects with Samsung Dex for my work load at home. I love the ability to use my Galaxy Phone as a Remote control for the TV. Once exciting thing I found out randomly is I can use Smart Thigs remote for the TV to turn on it on anywere in the world! Completely amazing. The sound is wonderful for a theater like experience when you adjust the settings of the TV and place it close to the wall so the sound just pops all around you like a home theater. I also use the device to connect other laptops via hdmi to use it as a monitor and at home office. There is no lag and great processing speed. The ability to have Samung connect to the TV if there is an issue remotely for no extra charge is wonderful. This ability to really connect to your customers is a safe comforting experience! There are some power saving modes that I use incase I forget to turn it off when leaving home or falling asleep. Adding the convenience of a great night's sleep and saving power and prolonging the life time of the TV is a perfect feature and has lowered my electric bill! Smart things app on the TV is great to add all of your devices to control through the home including the Samsung Fridge and Samsung washer and dryer. The ability to show me when my clothes are finished cleaning or drying saves time and improves everyday activities. This TV is perfect!!!!!

However, the picture is not as clear as I thought it was going to be and I tried to return it, but I was beyond my 30 day term for Nebraska furniture tomorrow so I'm not really satisfied with it but I have to keep it because I can't get it. I wish there were more than 3 HDMI inputs as I would like to connect more devices. On 9/19/25, after the warranty expired, the screen started to pixelate when using most applications. Shortly after the tv stopped turning on at all. I had the two boards replaced in the tv and it turned back on. Unfortunately, the screen now has a black section in the middle with a red and green lines. I'm a big supporter of Samsung products and will only use Samsung phones. It's sad that the tv lasted only a short time.

It’s like a theater in the living room. All of my guest thought it was a projector, as it is so clear even though it’s so wide. I suggest anyone to make this purchase.
