Pay attention to the leg foot print unless you are installing on the wall. The screen also runs hot as it is so large. The android operating system runs very quickly so switching between installed apps is fast. This is nice so you're not waiting for it to load. There are also a ton of apps and different viewing options for free tv. You won't use them all as there are so many! Three thumbs up!

So that being said within 4 years I've went through 3 tvs ALL from samsung and they all crapped the bed. Would be nice for them to try and make it right but I highly doubt it.

Unfortunately, Samsung's internet browser does NOT remember login info. This makes those website totally useless, as it is too arduous to type in your email and password from a tv remote - just to have it forgotten 2 minutes later if you switch the page. For this reason alone, I would definitely recommend buying a different brand. I really want to watch subscription video on my tv in my living room and I can't. Next time I will buy something else.

First was how much space I have. Second I had to consider what the lighting is in my house. Third was the type of display the new TV needed to be able to enjoy a more dramatic effect for my house and guests. Fourth I researched what color to paint the wall behind the TV for a more dramatic look. I’m so happy I took the time to select this TV because Samsung showed up in a great way. The picture quality for my house is really great. I don’t have enough space for a larger TV and to that I am well pleased. I paired the TV with a Samsung Sound Bar and Sub. Amazing display and sound!

People are missing out this it’s like being in a theater or driving or something.

Samsung does the rest with their free channel choices. The television is slim profile. It stands proud and straight. The remote is compact and stylish. I am glad I made this choice. When I went to buy a new TV, I read a lot of positive reviews on the Samsung DU8000 and boy was I in for a positive surprise! I should have upgraded much sooner. I love the auto “Game Mode” which works wonders with the new Samsung Home Theater system I later purchased when I found out what Q-Symphony was. The Samsung UI blew me away at how quick and responsive it was. I was used to waiting 1.5 seconds to input a letter at a time, but this UI is buttery smooth. It’s the first time I also had a TV that had eARC and HDMI 2.1 inputs. I was so used to old technology with the other famous brand that I was so happy to learn about all the new goodies. Good job Samsung!

The colors on the tv are nice and bright and the 4k content just pops when watching sports. I like this TV so much, I'm seriously thinking of getting another one for my family room. Overall, I give this TV a 10/10.

It took several iterations before I managed to get them working. Even then it’s not quite what I expected since it takes a several non-intuitive steps to get it to the right source, but all in all I’m happy with the TV. The price was right too.

The Color balance is wonderful you could binge watch scroll for hours enjoying the experience. The sound was clean although it paired almost seamlessly to the sound bar so we live like royalty.

With the game hub, I logged into my Xbox & I can play the games with no console, the picture is crisp with the games. I have a Samsung soundbar to give it the movie theater experience at home. The next tv I purchase will be a samsung as well but I think I'll go bigger.

So I spent like 730 on that TV for two months (smh). An i did have a warranty through samsung but they just let the time pass by before they would help me.

The picture is absolutely brilliant, clear and is like watching somebody right across from the viewer of this TV. The remote and functions of the TV are relatively simple to use or able to be figured out with a little trial and error of self teaching. It is nice to have direct access to Samsung free TV channels and setting up the streaming Apps was easy too. Looking forward to many years of viewing pleasure with this new TV. Being a previous Samsung TV owner made it easy to decide purchasing this TV and it is keeps and bounds above our older Samsung TV. Thank you for a quality product and delight to the eyes and senses.

It took us a few days to come The Samsung 8000 series. For the price quality and sound and application options no other TVs came close to the 8000 series. We were so pleased that we went out and bought a second Samsung HD TV for our family room. They come with so many additional applications and features we were blown away. We pretty much set on the Samsung products now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung TV Sparkles! We purchased this new Samsung TV in January and it arrived on time and was quickly setup and worked perfectly. The picture is bright, sharp and clear. The remote is quite small and has a wonderful new feature. A solar cell on back so it keeps its battery charged automatically. The TV has many features such as being really easy to cast from our Samsung cell phones to the big screen. We are quite happy with this TV and hopes itt gives us years of service.

We host friends over at times and they all comment on how great the picture is even when viewed from the side. Set up was easy and being able to run it from my phone via the Samsung smartthings app is an added bonus!

The TV itself is big, however it is more boxy, it seems to be almost the same length if our 75 inch and just taller. We were not to happy about the size but are keeping the TV. The picture is incredible, crisp and clear. It is like you are there on the movie or show. I would recommend this TV, but make sure you have a large room to put it into.

The image playing video games on my Nintendo Switch or PS5 or even my Wii. The remote has a nice feel to it with the most used apps I use. The settings are easy to customize to what it's being used for. The wide range of apps available is great and so is the game hub. Playing video games on it has been fantastic. It doesn't make me Wii look so dated and the huge screen is great for multi-player games like Mario Kart.

The picture is very bright, but there is still great shadow detail and super black blacks. I use it primarily for watching sports and movies, which it is fabulous for, but my son recently hooked up his video games when visiting and it was literally a larger than life experience. I've owned this set for a little less than a year now and have had zero issues. I simply can't recommend this TV enough. Buy it. You'll never regret it.

I hope it’s not the norm now I’m sending back. The problem with this is the customer is stuck with the expense of having tv installed and taken back down and install new one again

The picture is not as great as they say looks like my regular led tv and volume is the worse. I would have sent it back but its a 85" no way I could put back in box. Not happy with this large purchase.

We chose the size 85inches which is an upgrade from our 60inches TV before. Installation is easy with the help of my wife and son we were able to set it up. Setting up the TV is a breeze also, once you turn it on the TV itself will guide you step every step in setting up the connectivity and all features. What i like most of this TV is that the resolution is superb, very crystal clear, and with the size it even made it like we were watching in a theater. The color is so vibrant and clear! It really added a very great experience in our living room watching movies and we never want to go to the movie house anymore because you can watch at home like in a movie house already, you just need to get your popcorn and soda, and relax in our recliner chair infront of this huge TV. Another thing i like is the remote control, very small but very sleek and functional. You can do voice command on this tiny remote and it will bring you to the right channel or app that you want to go. This TV also features you need, from streaming different apps like youtube, hulu, samsung plus etc you can find it all in the home screen! Very easy to navigate, easy to use, and very user friendly! Overall, we are very satisfied with all the features of this TV. And lastly, you cannot beat the price, with the features added and the resolution and functionality, the price is reasonable and will not break your bank. Thank you samsung!!!

The pcture quality is very good to excellent depending upon what you are watching. The Du 8000 has various control settings for a variety of viewing options, such as game mode whether from a game console or pc. You adjust and calibrate the basic tv picture be it cable or steaming. The control setting are so advance that they allow for professional calibration. Over all this tv is built for high performance and will adapt to various viewing for years to come.

The picture is very clear, and the audio is great, even without a sound bar. I also love having Samsung TV Plus included, I can always find something to watch. It is super thin and sleek in design (so much so the screen bends under it's own weight if not lifted properly). It has an amazing picture quality and color accuracy as well as a high enough refresh rate for console gaming! Movies and games appear vivid and surreal with sound quality to match despite the body being so slim! However, Samsung has put their smart TV software on this product and it is a little difficult to navigate around at first. It's a little counterintuitive and hard to select your favorites when Samsung is trying to push it's own apps in the software. However Netflix, Hulu, showtime, Amazon prime video and countless others can be added to the quick favorites bar so you can easily navigate to them as soon as you turn on the TV once you get them set up, then you don't have to mess around too much with the default software and can get to enjoying your new TV and shows in amazing quality!!

I've broken a lot of TVS, and I've worn out a lot of TVS, and this one does not see any show any signs of slowing down. I never thought that toomes were gonna get to this point, because the last TV that I remember having to be different than all these was those big, old-fashioned ones that had all the stereo systems built into it, and it was about 600 pounds. And now to look at the TV and we have barely anything there, but it is by the quality, right? And then it's more expensive, but the price is a 100% worth it. No matter what they say. I will put that on my mama, that this is the best TV. Around and that this will give you exactly what you need for music to watching videos to doing work on it to making the scenery set at a party. It's got everything you need. If I had to choose a t v over a girlfriend, I'd choose the t v hundred percent hands down. The smart things app is also a great feature that allows the owner to control the tv without the remote. This TV has seen at least 9hrs a day of countless series and seasons on Netflix. The pictures colors are crystal sharp and the built in audio is exceptionally well considering we don't have a home audio set up. My only complaint keeping this from a 5 star rating is that when watching fast paced segments of movies there is a slight tear in pixels it's hardly noticeable to people not used to 240hz refresh rate. Overall I love this TV as a great middle ground tv.

Overall that's my One stop shop my TV I watch everything on it. While the picture quality is not that of the Samsung QLED or the Samsung OLED TV's, it is much superior to that of the Philips QLED that it replaced. For the amount of money that I was looking to spend there simply was not a better option. In fact, I could not find a superior TV brand in any of the price ranges. In my humble opinion, if you want the best quality picture available, buy the Samsung OLED TV. If like me, your wallet is a little thin, then buy the best SAMSUNG that you can afford. It's more than a great TV. It's a great investment.

I do not pay for cable tv only wireless internet. My Samsung Crystal UHD has a spectacular, colorful picture which allows me to view sports programs suck as Golf and Bull Riding. The Crystal UHD puts you right there as a spectator of the event..perfect! After extensive research I found that for the price one would pay for a SONY or SHARP I would save 30-40% by purchasing my Samsung. All and All I am very pleased with my Samsung.

The black balance is superb and there are no dull areas in the display. Sound is decent but if paired with a sound bar that supports dolby audio then the experience is immersive. It's nice not to having to worry about a console cluddering up space anymore. Though it's still limited for cloud game options on Xbox itself. I really like the Samsung TVs many option for personal sound and picture quality preferences. which are very crisp and clear. I bought one for myself and one for a friend and we both are very happy with the purchase choices I made.

Movies and live sports are an immersive experience. For sports the picture is crisp and bright and for movies it has that cinematic feel. I am very happy with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprised to the price. I replaced an older Samsung that was in our main room. The size is limited to the cove it sits in though I did add a pull out swivel mount. I’m a film editor and know what a good picture looks like and this thing is really really good. It’s not up to my QLED picture but my wife can’t really tell a different except for the size, my QLED in my studio is much bigger. The audio is clear though much of the time it goes through and high end sound system but when using the TV sound it’s much much clearer than the older Samsung. The optical out is a big plus btw. For the price I can’t see how one would find a much better picture.

The picture quality is sharp and vibrant, especially with 4K content. The colors are rich and the brightness adjusts well for both daytime and nighttime viewing. The built-in smart features make streaming super easy—I can access Netflix, YouTube, and other apps without needing extra devices. The interface is smooth, and the remote is simple to use. Gaming also feels great, with very little lag and a crisp display that makes everything look better. One of the things I appreciate most is how user-friendly it is. Setup was quick, and the TV automatically connected to my Wi-Fi and recognized my other devices. The sound quality is surprisingly good on its own, though I sometimes connect it to my soundbar for a more immersive experience. Rated 5 out of 5 by from An efficient sturdy tv Yes i find my self using samsung plus more than any other app and it solid connection even with out lan cable i use to have ps5 hooked up it great combo and change picture color is simple and easy like it should be and its running well no issues for several years and only cons i dont like the remote style at all and the feet of tv but for what i paid for its great

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TV broke 8 months after purchase Started out as being dark in the middle, then the whole TV went black. I did everything Samsung Tech Support told me to do. Took over a month to get a tech out only to be told there was a short circuit and the motherboard was fried. That was 3 weeks ago. TV still isn’t fixed. Will not buy another Samsung TV ever again

The quality is unparalleled (personal option) picture quality is always fantastic, ease of use is as simple as talk to the remote, mounting and general setup are only as hard as you make them i use my TVs in normal household settings,wifi,gaming consoles,DVD player and cable boxes for the 3 that are in my house and they all have been utilized endlessly for the past 3-4 years i don't think we have turned them off since they were installed and i have not seen any issues with any of them. These are the best quality televisions you can buy for the price, I spent $600.00 USD on the 3 we have. $1,800.00 in total and could not be happier about it seeing as we bought them with our tax return and have not needed to make the same purchase again it's given us a little more in pocket for other items over the years. Keep up the good work SAMSUNG, for anyone who is a family man like myself my 2 kids have never had any complaints nor have they ever been with there TV when they wanted it. Life time Loyal consume Right here. Thank you and your team for the job well done @ SAMSUNG.
