Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV I love my 65” TV. Picture is nice and clear and the sound is great. Had a problem with the remote, some buttons not working. Contacted Tech Support, told them the problem and tried a few things to ensure it was the remote. They ordered a new remote and a few days later the new one arrived. Have not had any problems since then. I use mostly cable on HDMI but use Amazon Firestick occasionally.

Colors are vibrant and seeing tones and textures gives a depth on screen you did not see before. This product really lives up to the selling features it advertises. The tv has access to download any streaming app. The tv's processor is extremely fast compared to what they were a few years ago. You are able to navigate to other streaming apps fairly quickly. With the voice controlled remote you can use Bixby or Alexa. The TV also comes with Smartthings to control smart devices. It also comes with an internet browser so you can browse the internet as well.

My only complaint is that when the screen is dark you can see some white clouding in several areas. You don’t notice when the screen is bright but when it’s dark you can really tell. It’s a little annoying considering the tv isn’t even a year old.

The picture is clear the sound is goo enough that I rarely even turn the soundbar on. When I decide to add a service most of them now are automated, it really is easy. My only real downside is the homepage and that isn't a biggy The first line often offers movies from services I do not even have the app installed for. Sorry but when I pay Retail price I really do not want to receive advertising on the product,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from do not buy upgrade to a better samsung i bought this a couple of weeks ago. i took it back to best buy because it only has 60hz refresh rate. watching sports or even people moving quickly on tv shows the refresh rate is not fast enough. blurred motions is what you will see. i took it back and paid more money which i did not want to do and upgraded to a model with supposedly 120hz refresh rate. it is better but it still is blurred at times. my opinion is if you watch anything that moves, sports etc spend what it takes and get a good tv with 240 refresh rate.

The problem I have is that it does not support the channel I stream the games on. You cannot download it on this samsung for contractual reasons I'm told. Wish they would tell you that certain channels cannot be downloaded due to legalities before you drop 500 dollars on it. I think that would be only fair to the consumer. .

Crystal clear during daytime and night time. Sports look incredible. We have noticed that even older movies from the 80s & 90s look much better than on our previous TV. I hope that get a long time use from the Samsung. My two previous TVs were a high end Hisense and a mid-tier VIZIO. Both lasted a total of 4 years, including having the Hisense repaired once under warranty!!

New type remote takes a little getting used to, but can also claim Samsung’s typical reliability….and it’s solar powered! (With a USB/C backup).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV, Exhausting Customer Service I love the TV. The picture is clear and beautiful. The setup was easy and overall a good price. My only complaint has been with the customer service. The TV sets on a stand with two legs. Each side needs to be adjusted so that the TV is level, however, there is no device that will tighten to ensure the stability of the adjustment so the sides keep slipping. Since there are not any directions or installation tips in the owner’s manual on this issue, I called Samsung trying to get advice on how to resolve the problem. After an hour on the phone of playing “pass the buck”, no resolution has been reached. I was given the phone number to Angie services and told I could pay to have someone come out and look at it. I attempted to reach out to Best Buy where I purchased the TV, however, you can’t converse with anyone at the store over the phone. You have to directly go to the store. This seems like it should be an easy fix with the help of a knowledgeable customer service representative.

The newest product is a QN 80D QLED 65-in TV. It's an incredible TV especially for the price I bought it for. I called Samsung before the purchase, with questions, their input was great. Rated 5 out of 5 by from This TV was a huge mistake horrible TV beware don' The operating system of this TV is ridiculous The picture isn't that good The build quality is the poorest I've ever seen when I went to install add the packaging was terrible The build quality was horrible I picked the TV up with my friend and it felt like it was so flimsy it was going to break in half it was like built super cheap definitely stay clear of this TV the AI TV features are ridiculous I think the operating system needs to go back to the old operating system for the price of this TV it's not worth it by old DU 6900 had better picture quality and a better operating system I returned this to Amazon because I was so disappointed I ended up buying a $228 TCL TV that had amazing packaging and the strength durability of the TCL is far beyond the Samsung TV the operated system is awesome The picture quality is awesome I will never buy another Samsung TV ever overpriced junk

However :::: the voice remote I can not say the same thing ! Alexa voice never works ! The buttons do not work without voice activation! I have to mute it everyday to achieve the proper volume , or even having to leave on because of the buttons not working is frustrating and aggravating!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good TV, weak remote. I bought this TV to wall mount in our new home. We mounted this very thin TV on a fixed bracket. Overall it sits one 1 1/2" from the wall. I was a little skeptical about learning a new TV operating system but Tizen works well once you get used to it. We often Airplay from portable devices and do so without any problems. I do miss Google home/Voice control. Alexa works OK but I would prefer a Google option. The picture is great. No complaints. Sound is terrible but we planned on using a SoundBar anyway. The HDMI ARC link works well and required no additional setup effort other than plugging in the cable to our ZVOX AV855. Now the bad. The remote is terrible. It's tiny, It is not backlit. When the room is dark, I have to turn a light on just to find out which tiny button I need to perform some action. It does have its own built in solar charger and battery.. that is its best feature.

I currently have four Samsung TVs operating on my property as well as two Samsung tablets (Tab S2 & Tab S6)and a sound bar. Unfortunately my last purchase (65in) literally died after just 36 months. It cost me $100.00 to find out it would be cheaper to replace than repair. It was a $1,000 TV when purchased. Very disappointed...BUT...still a loyal Samsung customer as I purchased ANOTHER 65 to replace the previous model. As always, I love the picture AND quality of THIS TV. My 40 inch is still operating after 15 years! Hopefully this new addition will last longer than 36 months.

I bought another brand firetv and hate the operating system. I had an LG OLED and didn't like it's operating system and app availability. This TV is simple, and quick to setup, the apps, the extra memory, and the crisp picture. Everything about this TV is great.

Too few buttons for so many options. Very small, unmarked buttons. Just ordered one with the microphone and hoping that makes it a little more user friendly.

The picture quality is amazingly sharp and clean and it makes you feel like you are in the setting. While I have connected it to my Kanto Tuk speakers via optical cable, I mostly use it on TV speaker mode because the quality is really good. The only drawback, in my opinion is that the remote should be backlight so it can be better at night.

Picture is clear and vibrant. The sound is full, but it would improve with a sound bar. There are a few apps I used to have with Roku that aren't available. But when I tried to use my roku in the HDMI, the set didn't recognize it because it doesn't actually turn off and on. These few annoying aspects aren't enough to turn me off the product though. I'm a loyal Samsung user and expect to thoroughly enjoy my new tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is quite the upgrade from my old TV Going from an old ElGee 2020 model this one is stunning! The color depth and clarity is something to behold in person. The black levels, as I have the settings set, is literally rivaling an OLED nearly. I have a 45x microscope that I look at 4k screens with amd this one has 4 times the pixel density of my older one. This VA panel in this tv has 8 pixel subsets in every pixel wheras my old tv has 2 per pixel. I'm not sure the technical term but I can see with my own eyes the Samsung has a much sharper picture and that's saying something bc the old one has a beautiful picture...it just also has a melting and cracking backlight diffuser which is NOT a problem with Samsung TVs I understand so for that I am thankful. I really love how it integrates into all of my other Samsung stuff with Smart Things. I can tell my tv to find my phone. How awesome is that? I can tap my phone on the top of my tv and automatically transfer the music that's playing on my phone to my tv which frees up the phone to do other cool stuff. It has a light sensor in it which can be configured through Smart Things to make the tv do stuff depending on light level. So I can turn it on or off, when the light is bright or dim, based on predefined Routines. I use a streaming stick to offload all the processors heavy lifting and in practice it extends the life of my tvs by nearly double. But the processor in this tv is so stout it's not really even necessary. In short I LOVE it. I finally have my Samsung TV!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light bleed from seam between bezel and screen Shortley after turning the TV on we noticed there is an obvious defect with the seam between the actual tv screen and the bezel of the TV. I'm guessing the material used to bridge the area was not assembled correctly and as a resut there is noticable light bleed out of the tv. Viewing it from an angle, you can see the method used isn't sufficent. Attempting to investigate a repair, hopefully that goes smoothly because this seems like a flaw in an otherwise good TV.

If you mess the picture settings heavily the picture quality pops, but out of the box it's very washed out and flat. Built in sound is lacking, would definitely recommend an external speaker setup. My biggest concerns is that the ai motion processing for smoothing frame rates is very rough, with major glitches; and that the 60hz refresh rate is lacking compared to competitors at a similar price range.

Streaming is made easy. While it does come with a remote, you can use your phone as a remote now. This makes life so much easier to manage since I don't have to keep searching for my remote. #winning

The remote is also not labeled for easy use for us older folks that aren’t completely tech savvy. Wish they would bring back the slightly larger labeled one or provide options to order one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cost to quality ratio is the best you can get! For the cost Id give it 5 stars! I've always had Samsung TVs, phones, refrigerators....But this TV is amazing! I had 2 before this in the 65" range and they cost me almost 3k 6 years ago. I have 5 samsungs in the bedrooms that are 42" and pretty nice! BUT THIS TV I'm reviewing is in my main room downstairs. I use it for movies gaming etc. It may not be able to compete with the highest end TV. But for the money this is the nicest samsung I've ever had. It looks better than TV from other brands that cost 5 or 6 times as much. Definitely worth the money. No other TV for this price is as good and yeah you could get a better TV but would spend way more and wouldn't be a huge difference. Cost to benefit ratio it just wouldn't be worth getting a 65" that costs way more and is only slightly better.

The Samsung DU8000 65 inch Class Crystal UHD product was the perfect choice. Not only was it very easy to set up but the DU8000 has both multiple HDMI connection plus optical audio for amazing sound quality. The Samsung DU8000 has turned movie night into an event in my home for an amazing value. This Samsung product is the “real deal”!

As of yet we have never experienced any issues with any of them, we purchased our 65 inch because of the better technology not because of performance on the last.
