I'm hoping it lasts because I purchased a Samsung curve tv 3 years ago and as soon as my extended warranty was up it started getting black bars going across my screen. Samsung told me there's nothing they could do because of my warranty being expired and now I'm stuck with this huge tv I can't watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from UN65DU7200FXZA I use this TV for HD antenna, streaming and gaming via PS5. This was a good TV for the price, and have been pleased with it on average. Wishing it had a better system menu, better up-scaling capability and a faster refresh rate. The Dynamic picture mode was unusable for me as I could easily see the refresh rate, which quickly instigated eye strain. When researching Samsung models and using the Samsung model compare tool on the website, I found it particularly frustrating at times that the website often offered up only high-level, sometimes trivial features for comparison. It made it extremely difficult to understand which models had what features. I likely would have spent more money to get a better model if it were easier to compare models against one another.

However, we have had this item for almost a year and still cannot adjust the display to view dark scenes. It's very aggravating as we watch a lot of movies dark content. We feel this is a product issue as we have been trying to correct the issue for so long.

Its got a great refresh rate and resolution but the connectivity could be better if im being honest. The processor is good i think but im sure there's better over all its good but there's some small dealable issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty good TV except for Blue Lights I like the picture on this TV. The reason its a 4 and not a 5 is the colors blue and pink. When there is a concert scene or there are blue or pink lights on the scream the colors wash out whatever they are shinning on. Not sure if this a setting that I can change, but it is noticeable and an inconvenience. This TV was a warranty replacement for a TV where the picture developed lines in under a year, while it was still in warranty.

I've had the TV for a year and the screen is detaching from the back of the TV. No resolution from Samsung. They pretty much said it was my problem and this is after I bought four other Samsung TVs. So needless to say, I'll probably be moving in a New direction my next time to purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TV won't turn off | Trapped in Smart TV I have two specific problems that annoy me very much: 1) The remote itself has no exit or return button for going back to my cable box when on Smart TV screen (my old Samsung had that). It can be done but now takes a few clicks -- that's REALLY inconvenient. 2) The TV keeps turning itself back on! After powering off with cable remote, the TV eventually comes back on??? I've never seen this before. Only the TV remote turns it off for good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Remote much to be desired First the remote is small and has no numbers so to go to a certain channel you have to scroll through all the channels in between. Second I need the closed caption because of my hearing and if I switch between antenna channels and apps then back to antenna it doesn’t work so I have to unplug the tv and plug it back in to get captions, if I shut captions off on apps before switching to antenna and wait about a half hour then turn them on again they will work but if I turn them on right after I switch to antenna they won’t work, it’s crazy, I have a 46 in Samsung in my bedroom I’ve had probably 8 years you can leave captions on no matter which channel I have on it’s great other than captions and the remote the 65in has a great picture.

Over the air channels, once selected, conflict with the Samsung TV Live channels, one keep replacing the other. And no, I don't need game apps on my TV, I want to be able to switch the channels without TV fighting with itself!

RJ45 cable to my router, plugged in my cheapo Vizio sound bar - and everything was set up automatically (after I signed in to my existing Samsung account). Best TV I ever owned. Best picture, and the biggest screen I ever had. This TV is top performance at a bargain price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Substandard, Subpar, Pile of Junk Want a TV that the schedule guide works when it feels like it, the virtual on screen number pad to change channels works on only one screen....maybe, how about the previous channel feature only works on over the air channels not streaming channels use to work on both when I first got it but not now. And don’t forget the wonderful blue screen blanking out with the message “mode not supported" for 5 minutes or so then after that the time and date are off by hours and days making the channel guide and information worthless. This blanking out feature goes on and off every few days with no pattern or reason. And the best part is this happens within 6 months of purchase and that wonderful Samsung warranty can’t, won’t or doesn’t want to fix it. They replaced the motherboard and I think it's worse because I didn't have the blue screen problem till after that. And all I get now is them stringing me along and no solution. So if you want all these wonderful features and warranty this TV is for you. But if I could do it over again I wouldn’t buy this substandard, low par piece of junk TV. To bad you can’t give negative stars I wish I could I’d give this thing and Samsung minus a million stars. Check out the one star reviews you will see the same compliants. So do yourself a favor no matter how cheap this thing is DON'T buy it. I wish I hadn’t bought it and knowing what I know now they couldn’t give it to me or pay me any amount of money to take it. They won't fix it and I"m stuck with it.

My issue is that the sound is not loud enough and to get louder sound I need a soundbar... but to get a soundbar I have to give up one of the three HDMI ports. My previous Samsung allowed for an optical connection to the sound bar. To me this is a major issue because I wear hearing aides and need more sound. I also run 2 blue-rays, Dish and Amazon Fire stick so I need all three HDMI ports.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beware of the remote Excellent picture and sound but very poor remote Picture is crystal clear, initial set up was remarkably easy and navigation on-screen is great. All these deserve kudos, As for the remote, this ranks as the worst remote I have ever had, and I have had many over my lifetime. The remote has to be aligned perfectly to the exact right spot on the TV to operate. For example, if I'm lying on the couch and just pick up the remote and just aim it at the TV and then push buttons, it will not operate, I need to sit up and align it at some prescribed perfect angle to have even a remote chance (pun intended) of changing channels or volume. To have a remote like this is inexcusable in today's technological world. I will pay more attention to the remote's capability and ease of operation when purchasing my next TV.

I love using the “live tv” option when trying to sleep. The thing I noticed most is that this tv doesn’t have the issue when watching a movie that my other tv has—the music volume doesn’t heavily outweigh the talking volume.

It's amazing, almost like the people are standing right here in my living room!!! The color is fantastic too! I'm at home all the time so I get to enjoy it day and night that is unless I am running errands or outside!!! The sound is absolutely perfect!! If I'm cleaning my house I just turn on my music, no need for a radio anymore!! I don't hear so good in my right ear but I also don't have to turn my television up to a hundred either!! That's awesome as well!! If anyone I know is looking to make a purchase for a TV, you can bet that I will recommend this one!! I feel that I made a very excellent decision choosing this one!! The sound is and audio are perfect for everyday use and family life. Gamers and movie buffs will definitely need to add the Samsung Sound Bar for the ultimate experience. Fits perfectly in the master suite of our home. The best feature of this TV is that it talks too you. Super cool feature! The TV doesn’t talk too much and will learn your schedule and viewing habits. Another cool feature is the Samsung Smart Hub and Samsung TV . With Samsung TV you actually do not need to purchase any streaming services because with Samsung TV you will find TONS of FREE streaming content and movies. Highly recommend! Without a sound bar sound is tinny even though I’ve adjusted the bass settings. Would really think twice before purchasing another TV by Samsung.

I tried all recommendations from Samsung but it was dead. It only had a year warranty so we now have to purchase a new TV. I have a Sony that I purchased 15 years ago and it performed like the day I purchased it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beware the power source and where you plug it I boughbt 2 units of this particular model, and they were both excellent until the power source on the first purchase died/became unreliable, resulting in the need for a return/refund of the purchase price. Upon review, seems not an uncommon occurrence that is blame on using surge protectors or power strips, of which I'm dubious. The second unit is still going strong, and is plugged into the same model surge protector used in every other room of my house, for every piece of electronic equipment.

I had read a number of expert reviews on line and chose this TV because of their raves and I haven’t been disappointed. The product looks great, the picture quality over WiFi is clear and the remote interface is easy to navigate. And the price makes this TV a great value.

TV is complicated and set up is extremely clunky and we’ve had it about a year now. I feel like the feature they spent the most time on was making sure they advertise everywhere! I had measured at home and 65in was as large as we could accommodate. I looked at several brands and settled on a Samesung. We really like the one we bought. The Pic is brilliant, the sound is good and it works well with our directv controllers. We now have 2 samsung tv's, 2 samsung phones, 2 samsung tablets. The other samsung products we have include a dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and a stove. We have not had any problem with any samsung products.

Customer service gave me the runaround, claiming I needed a special retail return number that could only be provided by the company I bought the TV from. I tried to get the number, but was told it was too long past the shipping date to process a return.

It took time to get used to the features and set it up but like everything else - practice makes perfect. The sound system is great and can be loud by itself. Sometimes things can be slow to load.

The only issue is that the tv continues to switch from my Wi-Fi to a public Wi-Fi network. When I get home from work I always have to check what network the tv is on and generally 2 out of 5 days I have to switch it back to my Wi-Fi instead of the public one.

OH YES YES it has such a crisp clean picture 4k no problem oh yes, probably one of the best televisions I've ever owned! ?? As for the sound of the TV it is as you would expect. But I do plan on a sound bar. But you really don't have to... Hope this helps. DSKYLINE

Also, being able to use my phone as a remote makes navigating menus easy. Definitely would recommend this for anyone looking for a big screen without the big price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor picture and streaming quality TV This TV is poor quality, probably the worst I have owned of over 10 televisions. The biggest problem is the streaming capability, when you pair the TV with YouTubeTV, Hulu and other streaming apps. This TV has continual problems with "locking up" and you either have to wait, restart app, or reinstall app. Numerous calls to Samsung technical support and they cannot fix the issue. This is the newest of my three TVs, and the two older models have no problems streaming (not Samsung TV models though). I have really fast WiFi, so I know my internet service is not the issue. This television also has poor picture quality, especially when viewing sports. It will feel like "jitter" as the picture quality constantly tries to keep up with picture movements and gets "blurry". Again, Samsung technical support could not fix after changing several settings. I guess you get what you pay for. This TV is low price, and with it comes lower quality. Move past this model and find yourself a better television. I won't be purchasing Samsung any more. Disappointed I have to keep this one.

The TV owners manual talks about a lot of features that this model doesn’t have such as voice control and split screen. Not advertised well in my opinion. I thought I had a tv that did more than it does. Fairly disappointed with the purchase.

I don't know much about the world of HD TVs, but this one is quite nice. The downside.... The operating system feel excessive. It's basically a giant tablet, but organizing the home screen is a challenge to clean up the clutter/bloatware.

The set up was somewhat confusing, but my son and I figured it out. The price was real good also. Also first time buying something this large at the Exchange.

I did some research and found that Samsung is great product since I have Samsung phone. I was thinking how will this smart TV be any different being my first. Well, I am in love with my new Smart TV. It has changed the number of remotes basically from 5 down to 2. I am surprised by how much it weights, also nothing. The features, the picture, the sound and flexibility are awesome. As I am still learning to use it, now to just learn how to connect it to my AV Receiver. This is a great TV and highly recommend this Samsung Smart TV.

The television has a great picture and beautiful sound. One feature that is particularly helpful is the audio setting for assistive devices, which is helpful to my 82-year-old mother who wears hearing aids. When I first turned this feature on, she broke out in a big smile and exclaimed, "I can understand this!" The bad part is that the remote is awful. The tv is slow to respond to the remote. I ordered an additional remote to have voice activation which the remote included with the tv does NOT have. Most of the time the voice activation either does not respond or does not understand. It is so frustrating. Also, many times the tv has issues switching from cable to streaming. More often than not, I have to unplug everything and plug it back in to make everything work properly. Very unacceptable for a new tv that was purchased July 2024.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a frustrating and regrettable purchase PriceSmart sold me the open box display model off the floor, apparently at full price (no telling how many hours of operation in the store). The remote is weak, I have to hold it just right to make it work. I had no luck installing a VPN. PriceSmart also sold me a mounting bracket with screws that are too short to attach the TV. Overall it was a frustrating and regrettable purchase.

Good picture quality, good sound with our older Samsung Soundbar, easy install & set-up. No problem with remote as some reviewers mention since we view via Roku device & use that voice control remote. Really like watching sports with the 4-way split screen view on this 65" TV!

Samsung needs to do a better job with directions on how to use the remote and access the channels provided for free. The lack of user friendliness for the remote makes me not recommend this tv. This is my second Samsung tv.

I like Samsung TV stations. I found the set up was a little frustrating maybe because the remotes have changed so much that there was a learning curve. Still have not figured out how to move the apps that I use to get them in all the front of the line up. SmartThings is also a bit confusing but that just maybe be that I have more Apple products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life Changing! We live in a rural area with satellite TV service. Our satellite internet was horrible and we couldn’t stream any entertainment until Starlink came along. Starlink was a game changer and we could finally play online games and stream movies simultaneously, but we were still paying for Dish satellite TV service. When I saw that Samsung had a TV that offer free channels, I decided to give it a try. We quickly realized that we had infinite entertainment options, not only did we have 2700 free channels (Dish had 120) but it also came with all the popular streaming services with the ability to add more, all our favorite channels were included, news, sports and recent movies. We were paying Dish $115 per month for crappy channels that we never watched, many infomercials with terrible pharmaceutical advertisements. When we called Dish to cancel, they tried to offer us $60 per month for a year to keep their service, but we were done with being overcharged for low quality entertainment. We loved the Samsung TV so much that we replaced all our existing televisions. The quality is amazing and the scenery is so realistic that it makes us feel like we are on the set during filming. We paid $399 for a 65’ TV and $249 for a 55”, which is less than what we would have paid for 6 months of Dish TV service. If you’re on the fence about getting rid of your satellite TV service provider, I highly recommend picking up a Samsung TV to test it out, and I’m confident you’ll be ready to cut the cord on satellite TV and their ridiculous monthly charges for good! Thank you Samsung, this technology has been life changing!

I bought this Samsumg a month ago and have had the Techs out 4 or 5 times to setup the sound right, like it had been on my other Samsung TV's over the years. I started out with one Samsung TV, but they no longer had the Optical feature, so I couldn't use my hearing aid streaming device. So, I spent another $300 to upgrade to a better Samsung TV. Now they can't seem to get the sound system right. I should be able to mute the sound bar and still be able to hear the TV sound in my hearing aids or headset. Every time my wife turns on her head set, the TV sound mutes itself, so I have to turn on my hearing aids to the bluetooth streamer and that is muted. Why is the optical and the bluetooth headset all connected to the main TV sound? I have always been able to mute the TV and still hear through the head set or my hearing aids streaming device. WHY! WHY! WHY!!!???

The picture is very crisp, bright, & clear, and I'm not even using a device with 4K output. I rarely use the included smart TV app, but it does work well with my device (AppleTV). Rated 5 out of 5 by from Honest review I purchased this tv directly from Samsung, as the previous Samsung didn’t last as long as I had hoped, so they made me a special deal on it. I am glad I upgraded to a 65”, the color is excellent, and the unit was easy to set up and operated. The reason I continued with Samsung, I really like the extra channels installed on the unit, and watch them daily. My only complaint, and I realize now it is because I purchased the low end model, is that viewing from the side, the color fades, as is normal for the less expensive models. Luckily, our viewing is 95% head on so that isn’t a problem. My only fear will be the durability, but I am really satisfied with this tv.

But the deal on this 65" TV was hard to beat, and I've been pleasantly surprised with this TV so far. the picture is excellent, the sound is great software was very easy to setup the TV out of the box, like I said in this price category. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I felt I had to buy a 5-year warranty from my past issues with Samsung

The first one lasted about two weeks before it developed a band of black and white static about 8 inches wide down the righthand side of the screen. Samsung was very responsive and replaced the defective television quickly. He's very happy with it and so far, so good. I'm hoping this was just a blip and not a common occurrence. The picture is very nice. It was easy to connect to our streaming services.

The remote is too small, I personally find it challenge to use. Thankfully the television that this one replace had a remote that works with the new one. The home page is a bit crowded but I can live with it. The picture works for my office and the grand kids use it when they visit.

The remote control is small with not enough space between the different choices. I added an app, You Tube TV, which we mainly use. Rated 5 out of 5 by from NO warranty from Samsung deny, deny, deny deny Samsung service is horrible. My prior TV had a warranty from Samsung and an additional warranty through Costco. After discussing repair with the Samsung service rep, they told me they had to order parts and that took 2 weeks. At the appointment, the service team set up, and before they started had to call into service to authorize the work. The video consult resulted in the repair being denied. Because the over the video rep said, it looks like there is water damage and we wont cover it. We, me, the service team, and the video rep discussed this, I showed that the TV was never in a wet area, and they denied the repair, and left. No hel over the next 3 phone calls, nothing from Samsung. I have 7 Samsung TVs. Now I buy SONY.

I have followed all of the trouble shooting/online suggestions and none have helped. It happens intermittently, so I'm not sure what else to do. I've spoken to customer service at the streaming services and everything is good there.

The colors tend to lean more to a red tint even after making adjustments. To me it’s probably about an average tv.

So loud, so light, very good quality, and not many wires. I have to admit i was impressed with the upgrade and the quality of it all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best TV We’ve Ever Had When our old TV died, we knew we’d get a Samsung. We saw this one and knew it’d fit our expectations. The size, 65” and cost, under $500 were perfect. It wasn’t until we turned it on, that we realized how great a TV we had. The picture is so clear and sharp. And the 4K resolution for playing video games, blew me away. Without a doubt, it’s the best TV we’ve ever had. If anyone were to ask me, I’d suggest this TV, bar none.

But you get what you pay for! The UI is also sluggish. My old Samsung 3D TV has better clarity and color reproduction if that helps for reference

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New TV “glitch” Bought about two weeks ago and have already had a “glitch” (according to Tech Support) experience with it. Was watching it, shut it off to have dinner, went back after eating, turned it on … NO SOUND! After attempting self resolution with no success, I called Samsung Technical Support who had me unplug it, wait, and plug it. It then worked. I ask the Tech Support person what caused it and she said it was just a common “glitch”, to which I asked her if I was going to have to repeat this? Her reply, probably not…(???)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good TV But Lacks toInputs Besides HDMI For the most part, I like our new Samsung 65” DU7200. It works well, has great video resolution and has a number of builtin streaming capabilities/options but… My main complaint with the TV is the lack of input and outputs. It has 3 builtin HDMI input, cable, one USB, Ethernet and that’s it! There’s no fiber/optical connection or the old 3 connector AV input options. I realize the older 3 input AV connections are somewhat outdated but we still have some devices which use those. As for the optical connection, there’s none. I have a couple of devices which require the optical cable and I’m not able to use this on the new TV. All this to say is, verify your needs before purchasing any new TV to make sure it has the capabilities you require.

Of course the TV model did not offer a covenant hookup. Found a optical to coaxial converter box to interface with sound bar from Roofill on Amazon prime. Will update this whole purchase again soon. Samsung TV was exactly as described. Wonderful picture, incredible detail and clarity. Overall, very satisfied with purchase so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought my Samsung 65 inch UHD TV because it is highly rated Set up and registration was a little problematic but worked out after about an hour It worked fine after set up all day Later that night after about 12 hours of operation the TV large vertical line down the screen which was there the next day also Boxed it up and returned it for a refund We did some research shopped around ended up buying a Samsung QLED 65 inch with a 5 year warranty included in the price Set up was easy and it’s been great for the last couple of weeks After reading comments about reviews I find it alarming how many issues there are with the new TVs I am originally replacing a 65 inch Vizio that won’t turn on Did all the on line fixes to no avail It’s only 1-1/2 years old not worth fixing

I hate it … the volume and Channel change is a toggle that is not easy to use . My other Samsung controller has number you can push for your station and not have to surf with your guide, it is a bit larger but I love the convenience of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad TV I purchased my new TV January 12 picked it up January 5 15th and February 14. It’s not working. I called the store and they said it was past the 15 swap out time. I’d have to deal with Samsung . I scheduled an appointment with Samsung . The repair man came out looked at. It said he had ordered the part already and he would be here the next day to put it in my question was, how could you have ordered the part when you hadn’t seen The TV or knew what was needed nonetheless I called Samsung jump through all their hoops finally they are. They approved a new TV for me which they said could take up to 20 days to be delivered. This is some of the poorest Customer Service I have ever had in my life. I have four other Samsung TVs in my house. I purchased them because it’s a supposed to be a good reliable product. This is not been a very good experience for me. Typically most companies will try to accommodate the customer in someway as expeditiously as possible I don’t feel that that was the case here.

After an hour working with Samsung tech support, we got it running somewhat, but they ordered me another remote. I can now operate the TV, but the search features and Smart Features are difficult to use and the only manual is on screen and difficult to use. I have two other Samsung TVs that are older, but the multi button remotes are easier to use than this new "simplified" remote.

It turned out that it was not possible! The TV was either speakers OR Bluetooth. You couldn’t use both at the same time. We sent it back the next day !!!

After I pulled it out of the box to put it up on our wall, we noticed that there was some Damage to the screen. There are 2 separate long scrapes that we noticed. So in some of these views on the TV those spots are clearly viewable. I thought that we could get past it but it’s clearly affecting our viewing.

They said up a repairman to come look at it. That was going to take about a week. I just returned it to Amazon and got another LG TV in about 2 days. It's my 2nd horrible experience with them. Never again.

I downloaded the 254 pg user manual and there is not a single picture of the back of the TV. Specifically. I'm looking for the jack to plug in an optical cable for external speakers and I can't find it. How can they publish a 254 pg manual without a picture of the back of the TV or a drawing. I hope it gets better but at this point I feel like I wasted my money.

The picture is very good. There are so many features that it will take a long time for us old folks to master them. We will enjoy learning. We are pleased to see 3 USB ports. We still watch DVDs! And get our channels from the Dish. This tv accepts our old fashioned ways. We are hoping to hook up our old Wii to the BIG screen, but that may be a challenge.

Only concern is how Samsung remotes work on all Samsung TVs so when I want to change the channel on one tv it will change it on both so it is a little annoying when it comes to that.

The movie I was watching looked more like a live news program. I could reach out and touch the people in the movie. The characters were practically life-sized but so much larger than life! I found myself thrust into the world of the fantastic. I was taken to outer space. I was taken to the depths of the ocean. I was taken to the streets of a bustling city. I was amazed by how immersed I became while watching my Samsung television. I am so happy with it and with all the features that it provides. I was able to go online through the web browser already installed in it. It had every streaming channel that I currently use as if it knew in advance which platforms I stream on. It's so slim and light weight. I was able to carry it myself. Adding my components to it was no trouble. The Emanuel inside is simple and easy to navigate. I am able to do every single thing this television has to offer, which is A LOT! There is a ton of interactive things to do including a bank of over 200 games ready to play. My Samsung TV is more than a TV. It is truly a doorway to the fantastic!

Me and my daughter have been pet sitting for 2 years and finally settled in Denver into a cute apartment. After being in so many homes over the years and seeing how a TV can be turned into a piece of art when you aren’t watching it, I decided that maybe it can be multi-functional and serve an additional purpose. It also allows my daughter to watch her favorite streaming service without the eye strain using her tablet or phone. Our living room wall is so huge that anything smaller than 65” would have looked silly. It was decently priced and so I went for it. I am not the most technologically advanced but I was able to easily setup our streaming services and soundbar with little issue. I am satisfied with my purchase.

We had to turn it off and back on to get back to cable input. Changed inputs, HDMI cables, rebooted TV, nothing fixed problem. It would access cable with no problem on first turning it on, but could not go back if changed to streaming without turning it off first. Also, it does not have optical connection so could not be used with our older Bose sound bar. Returned to store and bought different Samsung model with optical connection so. It works fine.

I purchased an 85-inch Samsung television, and about 9 months after my purchase it I started seeing large dark circles in the picture, so Samsung came out and replaced the screen. I purchased this TV for my bedroom because I'm 65 years old and disabled and I spend a lot of time in bed so I wanted a nice TV in my bedroom. Well about 30 days after they replace the screen I was watching it one night and it was working fine when I turned it off that night but in the morning when I woke up and turn the TV on that's when I seen the black line down the middle of the screen and the color distortion around the outside edge of the TV so that morning I called Samsung up and they sent a repairman out a couple days later he got on the phone with Samsung and Samsung refuse to warranty the television they said I did the damage or someone else did that is so far from the truth it's not even funny I do know one thing Samsung lost a good customer I've been buying their products for many years my house is filled with a lot of Samsung products from my refrigerator to my dishwasher to my TVs to my cell phones so at this point I will be posting my feelings about Samsung all over the Internet daily and I will be a complaint with small claims court against Samsung and I'm going to be disputing my loan.

Against my better judgement I never open the box containing the Tv until yesterday and discovered that the plastic protective film that covers the screen was not there . upon further inspection we noticed dust all over the back as if it had been hanging somewhere and was taken down and boxed up for sale. I was really surprised as I have ordered Tv's before from Samsung of much greater value and never had an issue. Long story short I contacted customer service about the issue and was told that the units sit in the box for a month and that's where the dust came from ,and there wasn't anything that can be done, but I can speak to someone who can explain the packaging to me .As I said before my other Tv had no such issue , I WASN'T EVEN LOOKING FOR A REFUND JUST A REPLACEMENT . But Samsung has refused to even acknowledge the issue and now they have lost a customer because of it .I'LL TAKE MY MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

It remained in the factory box until 3 days before Christmas when it was set up and installed on a tv stand. Initially the picture was great and the set up went smooth. This is a secondary tv and we don’t watch much so it has not had a lot of use. On Jan 7th we noticed lines on the left side and middle of the screen. We have tried to complete support requests on the tv and on the Samsung website however they both fail. Extremely disappointed that this tv hasn’t even worked for 2 weeks!!

So far, everything that I've viewed (best with sports like football, and nature documentary) has exceeded my expectations. Blu-Ray movies (via a separate Blu-Ray player) are great. However - there is one item that truly doesn't meet the standards above. THE REMOTE. So far, I've experienced less than stellar use. Dish doesn't have the remote in the list. I've had to change the battery 6x in over a month. Sometimes the volume works, other times NOT. Sometimes the tv will turn on, sometimes NOT. Except for the lame remote, I'd give 5 stars.

Anyway I was glad this was on sale because way back when it was very expensive. it was simple set up but i was used to the non Tizen operating system, but it seems a little quicker and it has more apps, i was just used to the old menu plain jane on the bottom. It is just something I will have to get used to. But it is great my old sound bar i connected it and it worked right away. the remote is much nicer and i downloaded Samsung SmartThings to my phone and some times use that to control the TV. I would recommend this tv .

I finally canceled the preprogrammed hub just to be able to stream YouTubeTV with a Roku device. Also, occasionally the TV will shut off then turn back on for no apparent reason. So at this point I feel I purchased a 65 inch, $500 dollar mistake.

It takes a while to learn how to use the different functions of the tv, but once you learn them they are easy to use. The only reason I gave it four stars is you can use the built in xbox app, but what they do not tell you the app does not support using a mic, so you can not talk to your teammates.

The features this tv has, makes life easier for me. For example, I can find out when my dogs are barking and put music on for them while I am at work. Also, it works with my Amazon Alexa which is so convenient! When I lose my remote control, I can ask Alexa to turn on the tv and use my cell phone to turn channels. I’m so happy with this product. This is my second Samsung and both are amazing!

The only problem is that it has no digital optical in ports so I can't use my old speakers that I had hooked up with previous Samsung TV. I have trying digital audio conversion kits and nothing seems to work. Even to hook up a Vizio soundbar it will not feed audio to soundbar. Why I didn't check for digital audio ports I'll never know. Why would Samsung offer a TV so great with so limited audio in ports?? Not everyone has soundbars with HDMI connections. I've been messing with this issue for about 3 weeks now, about to give up. Help!!

Compared to a previous brand,that was a 4k, it didn't have the clarity that my crystal tv has. The area is not super bright where i placed the tv,but it gives off enough lighting to send crisp pictures out. I also dont notice any lag, when i am watching sports. I don't see any blur as well. I brought this tv a 65inch and now im ready for an upgrade to a 75 and or maybe an 80 or above!. This tv will light up any family room and makes an excellent choice for the price!.

Work better with smart phone app, but can be slow to respond. Biggest issue is that it doesn’t work well with my home theater. I’ll turn the tv on, and the home theater will turn on like it is supposed to, but there will be no sound. I turn the volume up and still no sound. I switch to the tv speakers and sound comes out of the tv speaker just fine, but not great sound. Next time I turn the tv on, the home theater turns on and blows me out of the water, because this time the tv randomly decided to use the home theater sound and the volume was way up from last time I tried to get it to work.called and chatted with Samsung support which took hours to get a response and then finally just gave up. I emailed my complaint and requested assistance and got an email response that was unclear and not intuitive enough to help me with my problem. Currently just turned off the home theater so I don’t get anymore random surprises, and I just use the mediocre tv speakers. I gave them stars because the picture is great. 5 star for the picture. Zero stars for everything else, sound, remote, service, support, etc.

Received replacement, was no obvious damage or dings from the box, but one month later, screen is black and has lines, and CUSTOMER SUPPORT assumes automatically that it was physical damage. How do you prove that, came home after running errands and it was already like that. It's a shame that warranty won't cover it. Can it be that the LED is just fragile and cracked on its own and that's the defect. Now I have to buy another TV, because it'll cost the same as getting it fixed.

(Find another person to help you get it out of the box and lifting it onto whatever you're putting it on). The picture quality is truly incredible. I'm amazed at the detail and the blacks are so deep. Very impressive. Installing streaming services is easy using barcodes. The remote initially is somewhat confusing with navigation at first, but becomes easy to use the more you use it. I wish it was backlit, but that's really my only annoyance. Overall, I'd recommend this television to anyone who wants to save money without sacrificing quality. If it's your first 4K TV or you're upgrading from a 1080P or other brand, you won't be disappointed.

The only problem i really have with it is sometimes apps will freeze and I have to keep turning the TV off and on again till it eventually works cause it doesn't seem there's a force close or stop option. If there is I haven't found it. But the picture and sound are amazing and make the price well worth it.

I normally have to hit the "back button" or "okay button" and wait a solid 2 seconds before the tv does anything or select the button a second time. But i guess for the size of the TV and price it's decent. Might end up selling it and just buying the more expensive version but then again, it's a brand new TV so it shouldn't be laggy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Buy guys taking down old & installing new TV I bought this 65" Samsung TV from the Park City, Ut Best Buy store on 9/9/2024 paying an extra $250 for the "GEEK SQUAD" to install it. They were not Geek Squad and the helper dropped my old 55" Samsung onto my glass topped credenza destroying the inside of that tv that I was going to give to my family. He did not hold on to the bottom corner of that TV and is gouged my wall in two places. The TV was not installed correctly and there is blasting near me with three big building projects and I mentioned this to BB that I am afraid this TV will fall from my house shaking. I got a new wall mount and BB told me they had someone come to my house on 11-1 and I waited 9 hours - no one called or came. Then they said something about coming on Mon 11-4 but as of 1:13pm no one has called or come. I believe I have bought 9 TVs from BB as well as my HP computer, printer, Samsung watch and Samsung phone. I am really upset and disillusioned with them now. and would hope someone will follow through before this TV falls. The sound on this TV has has stopped three times so far and I had to turn it off & on to get the sound back. I wonder if these guys dropped this new in the box TV and if it will be covered if it continues.

The picture is not great at all. You can try and calibrate this to look good but you will always notice its just not there. The colors and contrast are either very faint or you will get a metallic look to them. Testing out gaming and enabling game mode and hdr are also not good. hdr on this is so bad i turned it right back off. I dont understand why they decided to call backlight in settings brightness now and brightness is shadow detail.... kinda laughable to have a setting on this tv called shadow detail because in the shadows you will see no detail lol. unless you crank that setting and compromise for washed out darks. Another thing i do not like is the new remote these tvs come with now. like seriously what is this samsung??? i thought this brand was better than that. reminds me of something you would see in a no name brand tv. And how slow this tv is. my god sometimes it will struggle just to get through the settings menu smoothly without stuttering. so would i recommend this tv? No. Not unless you got it for $300 or lower

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Missing Optical Port Fantastic picture and the updates to Samsungs smart features over the years have made the TV much better but one glaring problem is the lack of an optical port. While I know HDMI ARC is the supposed to be better, I often have more trouble with it than just a standard connection plus it also eats up a valuable HDMI port. For a gamer who has multiple consoles and other random things going down to two ports is just obnoxious. Plus many of us have soundbars that don't have HDMI ARC on the sound bar itself. Just look back at the T400 sound bar and it has only optical and Bluetooth. It is just frustrating that all the other 2024 Samsung TVs have the optical port but not this one.

My previous samsung tv 2020 model was way easier straight forward menu. All in all you can't go wrong with the price and a trusted brand. Sometimes to much is not a good thing ( go back to simpler menus please)

The only problem I have found is that it randomly switches to the satellite system when I am trying to watch something else. Other than that it is a great tv.

The TV has a great picture but the sound is not what I expected.The sound and voice has a delay and that alone is very disappointing. There is no optical output to match up with the sound bar. The sound bar does not have an HDMI ARC input for the TV. The TV and the sound bar don't work together. Contacted support and talked with 3 people and did not resolve my issue.

All the channels are the same. We aren't sure how to adjust it. Also, we keep getting notices on the scree about new policies & I can't hit ok to get rid of it. Other than those 2 things, it's awesome. If someone can tell me how to adjust the volume, that would be wonderful. Thank you, A satisfied customer

Apps are really extensive & a Great feature not found in other brands. Still working my way through all the apps & programs available ont this TV, seems the Samsung designers thought of every option. I would have like to have more HDMI ports (only 3 on set) & also an optical port would have been nice. Support attachements for the legs have a wide portion and a narrower portion allowing for almost any width table size to put the TV on. Very pleased with this Samsung DU7200; Great features, Great looking, & the Amazon price was the best I've seeen & the delivery service was exceptional; inside delivery including placing the TV on the furniture & removing the packaging. They also moved my old 65" TV to my garage. All around I am very satisfied with the product & the terrific Amazon price & dleivery. Will use again in the future.

Support was of little help after spending 6 hours on the phone in 5 different sessions. I will not buy another Samsung TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sound goes out for no reason!. No fix from Samsung I purchased this model 65” Class Samsung Crystal UHD. At first it worked well for the first 4 months. Looks like I have one of the lemons as my experience has not been that great with this Samsung Model. The sound will cut out completely for no reason at all. To get the sound back on, I have to completely shut down everything and wait a few minutes then turn it back on. I have tried troubleshooting that was offered and nothing has fixed the sound it continues to cut out for no reason. It happens will all my apps as well Netflix, Hulu, Disney, ESPN+ , Paramount, I did a factory reset, still nothing!!! It’s so irritating to watch a movie only to have the sound cut out and you miss the most important part. I wished Samsung would address and fix this problem, however they deny this is an issue with their TVs but I see other posts online of people with the same problem. Samsung will not admit it’s a problem. Please fix your sound on these TVs and stop blaming the cable companies, sound bars ….please just stop denying it !!!Samsung TVs have a sound problem. This is the worst Samsung I’ve own. The newer models are not any better, I should have kept my older model that worked fine. Buyers beware you could get one of these that has a sound issue , the TV will work fine for a few months , then after the date of purchase has expired passed the point of when you can't return it. ?? Bam the sound starts going going gone!!!

Hours on end just me sitting there seeing the tv endlessly restart. Got support and nothing helped. Was told to go to a repair shop for a second opinion, shop said I'm better off returning it for its warranty. Problem is. The nearest Sam's club is over an hour away and i have no one to help me take it there. Basically I'm Stuck with a BRAND NEW TV THAT DOES NOT WORK with no means as of yet to return it WILL NOT PURCHASE SAMSUNG AGAIN

These tvs are notorious for network issues for no reason. This has been cross referenced with several devices every time the internet goes out. Furthermore, this has been tested over three separate tv systems that are all this model and has been shown to be extremely reliable data collected over three years. Would not recommend doing any buisness with Samsung as this is the second time they have strung me along. Last time was a washer and dryer with issues that took almost a year to resolve.

The reason is I specifically asked the salesperson if this particular TV had a mic on the remote that could be used to speak searches, ask the time of day, etc. The answer was a definite yes. I actually was inquiring because I had previously purchased a Samsung Smart TV from Sam's Çlub with the same question about voice command using the Mic button on the remote. When I found out that it did not come equipped with voice command, I started searching for another one which ended me up at Best Buy, who's salesperson have me a definitive 'yes' answer also to my voice command inquiry. I'm wondering just how smart a 2025 S amazing smart TV is when the voice command feature is not optional, but my old 2007 Sony came equipped with the voice command feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s ok It’s ok. Remote is funky. When toggling between apps it often gets stuck or opens the wrong app. For example, I try to open Sling and Live tv opens instead. Controls will also kind of freeze up. I have super fast internet, so that’s not the problem. The tv is just kind of fluky. Picture is ok. Not fantastic, but good enough for me, I guess. It was inexpensive so maybe I got what I paid for? Don’t know. I’m keeping it but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it, either.

I ended up putting it on a stand and put it my 5 year old’s bedroom - that’s what he calls it when he sleeps over. We both love the picture so much so that he will not let anyone touch it! I’m now jealous that it has a better picture than the Sony in my bedroom. Last night while watching the NBA playoffs in the living room I said to my wife that I needed to go watch it in our grandson’s bedroom. She was busy cooking Easter dinner in the living room and I couldn’t get comfortable. Last week I even told her I wanted to upgrade our bedroom with the same model.

Picture quality is amazing and the actual sound quality is better than it should be for a slim tv profile even though I switch to my soundbar is some situations. I'd love to have a digital audio out, but bluetooth works as well with my older soundbar. But the price and value you get is incredible.

I bought this television as a Christmas gift to myself .Although I've always been a big sony fan especially in the TV category , but thought I would try this Samsung model tv , I am very happy with the performance sound , color , overall very happy except with the tiny remote , it is not very user friendly where each button is for multiple uses , sometimes very confusing , but as I said very happy with this particular product and price .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product with excellent features I purchased this tv because my 55" (not a Samsung) went on the fritz 2 months after the 2 year warranty ran out. I picked a Samsung to replace the 55" because I own other Samsung products and have no problems with them. I have a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, 2 tablets, 2 cell phones and 2 ti's, all Samsung. I believe Samsung is one of the better products on the market with very competitive prices.

The only downside is not with the tv, but the controller--the sound will not increase nor decrease. I have not yet called Samsung regarding this. So that is on me.

They were ready to repair it, but had to clear it with someone in a different country. They did a video call and that remote person said the tv had gotten wet. TV was never outside and was in my bedroom. Denied coverage. $800 plus extended warranty was a throw away. Bought a Sony.

Our TV frequently does not operate (go to TV stations, applications) as Samsung somehow “controls” the interface and does not allow applications like YouTube TV and Netflix to open… rather the Samsung interface interferes.

Controlling the sound is almost impossible (I have a sound bar and must control it manually). The installation crew Wes not at all helpful and no user guide was given. I want my old tv back! The picture is great but it is a pain to use.

I have zero complaints on the technical side of things. We love it. But the user interface is god awful. That's why I put 3 stars. It's hard to navigate, you're unable to personalize it, there is no app store.(seriously I can't find Max on there?) Gaming automatically takes you to the gaming page. No I don't want to play my tvs games. I want my xbox to show up. There's not a way to change this in settings besides having it revert to last app or usage when you start it. I hate to give it a bad review, because honestly the quality for the price is great. But Jesus christ the user interface makes me want to eat my foot. On the plus side, the mobile remote is nice.

It was shipped directly to me and setting up the smart TV was all prearranged through the Customer Service agent. Good Price. I love the TV color and have learned the ins and outs of the remote. The service provided to me was exceptional for this 78yr old widow without the ability to lift heavy objects and not tech savvy.

The new TV sound quality changes depending on the channel being watched or the program being watched. The video is too dark when watching old black & white shows and too bright on regular programs and movies. When turned on it spends the first thirty seconds announcing available programs which we find annoying. We just want to turn it in, select a channel and watch it. It seems that someone in charge at Samsung is so hung up on technology they have forgotten most people prefer to keep things simple.

The only issues I have had to do with the Bluetooth connection. There is a delay between the TV and the receiver and I had to disconnect and reconnect the HDMI connection from the receiver into the TV because it showed I was not sending a signal out to the TV. Other than that I am very satisfied with this TV monitor. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family

First download of Amazon music app freeze after and hour or so of play and stays frozen for a day or more. Same with Pandora. I also dislike when I turn on my TV in the evening the same program is continuing on that I watched in the morning at the same time I turned the tv off. That’s Bizarre!

The I got a internet upgrade on my tv apps to have dolby atmos sound for some apps on the tv the day after I buy my tv. Eight months later the upgrade has been removed. I subscribe to the directv streaming app. The tv internet upgraded the app to a newer directv app for only one week. The new directv app upgrade is no longer there. Now I watch the old direct streaming app again.

Our Sony came with voice control, so we ( 81 & 84 years old ) thought all new TV’s had that feature. We are soooo disappointed ! My husband is handicapped and voice command was a real boone for hm !

When I, mother, needed to replace my old (another brand) TV in 2012 I got the 48" Samsung and the family (father's) room got a new and bigger 51" Samsung Smart TV. This Thanksgiving 2024 we were hosting twenty two family members. We wanted to upgrade the family TV for the parade and football. We got a NEW 65" Samsung Smart TV. We LOVE it too! They come loaded with content, hundreds of channels of content! You don't need ANY cable or WIFI to access. With cable and WI-FI the world is your oyster. AND, it's so EASY to CONNECT the Samsung Smart TV to both. The TV easily maneuvers between Youtube, to live channels, to Netflix, to your laptop monitor, etc. The Samsung Smart TV is ! We have three, that speaks, to their GREAT QUALITY, EASE OF USE, LONGEVITY and reasonable PRICE!

Unfortunately, the tv only worked for approximately a month and died. Needless to say that lead to a long road of aggravation in getting the situation resolved.

The LG had a feature that turned my TV on at the same time every day or 5 days of the week ....and it would turn off 2 hrs later ..this tv actually shuts off every night at a set time. Truthfully I appreciated the LG better.

It is also very bright, going from a dark scene to a light scene actually hurst my eyes, that's how bright it can get. Overall, I am very happy with the performance of the TV for streaming, watching movies, and video gaming. That said, the Samsung software is convoluted and complicated. Some apps take too long to load (like Disney+ and YouTube) and navigation requires too many clicks to get where you want to be. Amazing hardware, ok software. I hope Samsung will put some more effort into software and also offer more frequent updates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Stunning Upgrade – Best Value TV I’ve Owned Yet I’d just relocated and was in the middle of turning my new apartment into something that felt like home. No furniture yet, barely a spoon in the drawer but priorities are priorities, and I needed a TV. I wanted something large enough to anchor the living room but not so expensive that I’d regret it if movers got too enthusiastic. After a bit of research, I landed on the Samsung 65” Class Crystal UHD DU7200, ordered it on Amazon, and crossed my fingers it’d be as solid as the reviews said. It arrived two days later, ahead of schedule, and right out of the box, it impressed me. Setup was fast. Samsung really makes it easy, even for someone with no tools unpacked and internet just barely hooked up. I mounted it on the wall, stepped back, and instantly felt like the space had purpose. The picture quality blew me away. Seriously. The 4K resolution is crisp, the colors are vivid without looking artificial, and even the darker scenes in shows like The Bear hold up beautifully. I streamed a few episodes while sitting on a makeshift floor cushion with a bowl of cereal, and honestly, I didn’t miss my old couch. The viewing experience was that good. Navigating apps through Samsung’s Tizen OS is smooth once you get the hang of it. I had Netflix, HBO Max, and YouTube up and running in minutes. The remote is minimalist and intuitive, though I do wish it had a backlight for those late-night scrolls. Sound-wise, the TV holds its own. It’s clear and surprisingly full-bodied for built-in speakers, but I’ll eventually add a soundbar once I’ve finished furnishing. For now, it does the job. I also hooked up my PS5 for a test run. Game Mode activated automatically, and the low input lag made gameplay feel sharp and responsive. Whether I was swinging through Manhattan in Spider-Man 2 or casually losing at FIFA, it felt seamless. One small detail I almost missed was that the legs on the stand are pretty far apart. If I hadn’t mounted it, I’d have needed a fairly wide TV console. Just something to be aware of if you’re planning to set it on furniture. All in all, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. It was the first real “welcome home” item I bought after the move, and it turned out to be a solid choice. Great value, great performance, and exactly what I needed to feel settled even before the boxes were unpacked.

The delay from power-on to actual viewing is excessive, and it frequently locks up or drops out—symptoms consistent with the heat-related issues common in many Samsung devices. Basic enhancements, such as a voice-activated remote, would greatly improve usability. A more streamlined menu system could also help speed up navigation. Unfortunately, the inability to disable problematic programming gives the impression that Samsung prioritizes profit over the user experience. In contrast, I’ve found that their competitors are much more in tune with consumer needs. For these reasons, I no longer purchase newer Samsung devices or appliances.

I'm not a fan of the user interface, which is much different from my other Samsung TVs. We connect our mobiles phones to share content frequently, which goes without problem about 95%of the tune.

I hear my TV thru a very nice streaming device that connects to the TV via either optical audio, RCA, or a headphone jack, streaming TV sound directly to my cochlear implant. WAY better than closed captioning. This new TV has only HDMI outputs. Samsung told me HDMI is sufficient for audio outputs when I contacted them. I purchased a couple of third party devices that claim to convert HDMI to any of the options on my streamer, none worked, wasted time and money. I contacted the company that makes my streaming device, they told me my new TV is flawed. I agree.

It is a very basic remote and I am basically Disappointed ??. I just bought an LG 75 inch in the same price point and it has a remote that actually allows you to use the TV. I bought two of the Samsung 65 inch TV's so I am double Disappointed in Samsung. Maybe I can sell them.

HOWEVER after tv has been on awhile picture will sometimes freeze for about 15 seconds and then go to the page that has all the apps on it losing the program I am watching. I contacted Samsung about issue and they had me do a complete reboot and the problem is still not fixed.

I wish the sound was better, but it is what it is. Easy to set up with a crisp, clear picture. We don't buy the newest model, but I am always happy with them. While I love their TVs, I detest their appliances. The fridge was junk, and the dishwasher was horrible.

Setting up the unit is simple, its light weight and connectivity is straight forward, simple plug and play. The picture refresh rate is excellent. How ever we do experience speaker issues. From time to time the speaker volume drops off for no particular reason.
