Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buyer beware We had to buy this model as the TV prior to it was the same model, just a little older. We have an entertainment center that has an oddball size opening to fit a TV ad this is the only brand that makes one to fit exactly. The previous model lasted 2.5 years and just stopped working. Samsung and Costco wouldn’t honor the warranty period (even though the box clearly stated 3 year warranty). We still had the box in storage as we were military and accustomed to moving frequently. I am hoping this newer model lasts long than 3 years? The picture is clear but the TV speakers are crap (as with most newer TVs) this is a scam so you have to buy a soundbar also. This TV doesn’t have optical output for sound (the previous years models all do) so I was forced to buy a new soundbar. (Costco had a really good Sony soundbar on sale so that’s what we went with) I probably wouldn’t have purchased this TV brand again if it wasn’t for the only TV we could find that fit perfect in the entertainment center.

You can zoom in on Al Pacino to get up close and personal. The clarity is outstanding and I haven't even peeled off the protective film yet! Looking forward to watching The Masters in a few weeks....I'll be as close to Augusta as possible while on my sofa!

You can't just put a channel number it, it's a whole process. It's touchy. If there is a easy was to get a better remote I am up to best about it.

Tried to connect to receiver with eArc cable and wrecked two receivers before realizing it was the T.V. Tried different cable. Tried different speakers. Smoked both of my receivers, blowing fuses in one and doing unrepairable damage to the other. Stay as far away from this tv as you can. It was cheap and built to stay that way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fried 2 receivers with eArc Hooked up the eArc cable as it's the only audio connection available. Didn't work with my receiver. Changed cables and tried different receiver. That also didn't work. Turns out the tv fried both of my receivers. Don't buy this tv to use with a receiver. Repair guys came and said they wanted to change out the main control board. I asked if they were going to use their stuff to test afterward because there was no way I was hooking anything else of mine to that tv. They said no, so they didn't change out the board. I am trying to get my money back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best buy Scam I bought the tv and took it home, once we open and plug it we realize it had vertical lines-- Best Buy did not acknowledge our return request. and said the screen was crack when in fact it was not cracked --- We had it checked by private repair man who said the data display terminal had loss contact -- best buy made me buy a whole new TV stating I voided the warranty by laying it flat? what a scam -- there is so much Styrofoam in the box you can drop it from the Empire State Building and the box would bounce--but laying flat would break the TV ( crack the Screen) ? -- no crack seen here on my TV -- could I have just bought a lemon--of course---- The other TV I bought; I laid it flat --and now it hanging in my living room working well--what a scam Best Buys

My is a 60 inch and it looks real nice on my TV stand. My friends always notice my TV and tell me that is awesome and they wanna get one. Originally I was thinking a 65’ and then after more thinking I thought that may be a little too big. So, my next idea was a 55’, but then my boyfriend said that he thought that would still be too small. So we met in the middle at 60’ and it was just right! I love it so much and it’s the perfect size for the space! The picture is great, the features are great. My boyfriend loves playing his PS5 and it’s super easy to switch between console and cable tv. I am very happy with my purchase!

I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised. The picture is amazing and UI fantastic. The only problem I have with the TV are the Audio settings. The volume settings are terribly inconsistent, and it can be very hard to hear things sometimes. However, if you use a sound bar than this issue can be solved.

I highly recommend this tv for people who like to watch tv online or just wanting to play video games. The tv also has a gaming mode that automatically goes on when playing video games! The colors are very vibrant and connect very easily to my internet with no issues. I love how the app allows me to use and control my tv without my remote. It’s also very nice with all the apps you can download and have access to many different entertainment for shows.

So, over all the picture quality is excellent and I can adjust the picture exactly the way I want it using all the various picture settings, which I really like. The software could use improvement and the way you use the remote to maneuver the internet browser could be improved. But other than that, I'm very happy with the picture quality and sound.

Consequently, I use the Samsung remote for off, on, volume and mute and another smartTV remote, larger, easier to work, for everything else. The Samsung remote is the only drawback so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will Not Play Anything on Hoopla No matter what I do this TV will not play anything on the Hoopla channel. I can download it and it comes up and I can checkout a movie, but when I play it the screen turns blank. Tech support suggested I delete and reload Hoopla and to reset the TV, none of that worked. So, this TV is going to be returned to Walmart. FYI - my 5-year-old ONN TV plays Hoopla movies no problem.

(Tv, tablet, phone, ruku) Other apps on this samsung TV work fine, including internet steaming. Samsung customer care doesnt care. Picture is good. The remote is not very good. No optical output!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TV is great. New Style Remote is TERRIBLE! The TV works very well, the picture is so realistic but the remote that came with it is HORRIBLE!!!! Unlike past remotes, the newer style that came with the TV does not have the traditional style keypad and is really hard to figure out and work with. We dumped the new remote and bought an older style (Model BN59-01301A) remote on Amazon that thankfully works on the TV. We hope Samsung goes back to the older style of remotes.

Unfortunately the rise of Samsung “content” has made navigation much more difficult and ease of use, well, not easy. They are valuing paid advertising over their owners. The BIGGEST disappointment is with the sound/volume/speakers on this TV! The sound is absolutely horrible! You can increase the volume from 1 up to 100 and the sound will only get louder by just a little bit. There is no bass or tremble. It's like listening to AM radio! I do believe Samsung made this TV with such horrible sound/volume/speakers in order to force you to buy a Samsung Soundbar and this is truly pathetic. I also purchased a 75" Samsung TV at the same time I purchased the 60" TV and the sound/volume/speakers sucks on that TV too! Samsung has been my brand of choice since 2008 with no complaints, however, if this is Samsung's new level of quality, I think I'm going to select another brand in the future. The only positive thing I can say about this TV is that I like the variety of preinstalled Apps. (LG may have a new customer soon!)

The last warranty claim took about 45 days to resolve. This claim seems to be headed towards a lengthy resolution as well. No more Samsung TVs for me. I’m done.

In order to select a tv channel you have to go go guide to locate the channel. There is no control to easily go back to a previous channel. Perhaps this is a Spectrum issue but the controller is limited.

Also if the Samsung Network goes down, you can not watch anything on your TV, NOTHING. So if your thinking about a Samsung TV, Just be aware of what you are agreeing to! BE AWARE!!!!!

The latest ones which were purchased in the last couple of years have not performed to my satisfaction. The most recent one, a UN60DU7200, shuts itself off intermittently while I'm watching a program. The "new" remote's performance is extremely slow, not intuitive and struggle to switch between home screen apps, ROKU and antenna inputs. I am pleased with picture quality and general performance.
