Rated 5 out of 5 by from Garbage. Save your money. I bought this the end of May 2022. It is already dead. A black blob would appear in the middle of the screen and then it would shut off to the Tizen start screen. Nothing seemed to get it to reset properly. Back to LG products I go.

Two years after I bought it I had to call support over speaker issues and support told me was software issue. Nope sound was still bad and ended getting a sound bar. Fast forward 15 months and now have black screen and TV dies. So sad that after two years the TV is garbage. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TV. Samsung support blames software like a shady dealer just in time for the warranty to go bad so they don’t have to replace. Never again Samsung and shame on you. People work hard to get a name brand that they think will last and not to stand behind your product is even worse. Will never by any of your electronics again.

Today (5-29-24) it lost video and audio...didn't quite last a full year. We really like the TV and hate to have to toss it out and buy another one. Has all the features we need and the 58" screen is the perfect size for our family room. Looks like I need to start a new search for a large flat screen." I called Samsung customer service and they issued a repair ticket. They shipped a replacement screen to Complete Electronics Specialist in Tampa and it was replaced yesterday. Very impressed with the whole process, very easy and quickly resolved. A big thank you to Scott the technician!

Added the app to my phone and was able to get all of my subscriptions added and working within minutes. Picture quality and sound are both great! Had to adjust the colors a little bit, but that's to be expected with any new TV. Currently debating if we need another one for the basement.

It was super easy to hang it onto our existing wall mount. The setup took literally a couple minutes. The attached speakers weren't pumping out enough volume for our liking so we purchased a Samsung Soundbar to go with it and that made a huge difference....Overall we are Very Happy with this TV!

I made a mistake I usually pay around $1000 for Samsung they have a lot better picture. This is my third Samsung and I am really disappointed with the dark and fuzzy looking picture. I had read reviews about how good the picture was and decided to buy. It doesn’t compare to the UN55 that I had for 10 years.

However, the processor needs to be bigger to be able to handle the larger applications that are built on these newer smart TVs. It takes a long time to switch between applications, and also to start them up when the TV is turned on.

Samsung customer service is not the best. You need to be very persistent if there are issues. My TVs main board went out and it took about a month and a half dozen caps of 10+ minutes to be sent to a technician that could repair it. The tech was great though

However, one thing I noticed about this TV is that it does not work well with apps (MGM+) that require the video to be cast from the phone onto the tv. I do not have issues with other non-Samsung TVs when I have tried to cast from the phone to the TV. This is the only real issue I have with the TV. Besides that, It streams TV Shows and movies beautifully!

Simply, whenever I'm watching Netflix on my TV I tend to get bored or find it difficult to find something interesting to watch, so then I use my phone-remote to immediately hop onto Disney plus on my Samsung TV. Rather than searching through the many apps. At times the remote may be displaced too or lost. Which in that case, I can go on my phone-remote and immediately access any entertainment apps or Live TV.

Its super easy yo use and even easier with the app. I was able to sign in to my selected apps though my phone and it only took a few minutes to get everything set up before I was free to start streaming. One thing that did catch me by surprise is the free live tv. At first I thought its free tv so it cant have that many options on what to watch but I didn't mind because I had all my streaming platforms right there. But soon curiosity got the best of me and I started browsing the channels. Turns out there were quite a few different channels and something for every one to watch. The only downside is the weird minute or more breaks that happens every so often were your just sitting an a colorful screen or unmoving screen with different music. Its not commercials either because sometimes it happens in the middle of those too. Other than that everything else is great and if your in the market for a new tv I wound highly recommend a Samsung.

The sound is great and can be turned up quite loud with no need for additional sound devices. The picture quality is great. There is a wide assortment of apps that can be installed and used on this device. Bally sports created a new app and within a couple of weeks. Casting my phone or laptop is really easy and good quality. My favorite feature is the ability to control the TV from my phone.

Over the Air and free online streaming has provided me with a better selection of sports and entertainment than my former service provider. Really like the convenience of Samsung TV and how it integrates with my local channels. Great value for my money!

I've had it since early this year and I can without a doubt say that this is one of the best purchases I ever made. The quality for both sound and visual are amazing. The services the offer and how seamless it is to go from app to app is amazing. The only thing I would want different is a bigger size TV because I feel spoiled knowing that such a good quality setup exists. Game mode and game streaming work perfectly with little to no lag, I would love to see more games in the future or more streaming like from steam or PlayStation.

Thinking I may cancel my cable service. The remote takes a bit to get used to but it does work fine. The tv has a very good picture.

I mounted mine on a wall quite easily and have it connected via Wi-Fi and antenna. Sound is better than my older Samsung tv without a soundbar. Samsung has always been good for me.

It's opened a new range of programming in addition to my Verizon FIOS package. The Ultra Hi Def is clearly an advance over my Sony Bravia 1080p LED which is MUCH heavier.

The Home Screen is just a bunch of options for stuff to watch that’ll automatically play if you leave the cursor on it, and sometimes it just starts playing out of nowhere, like if you try to look at the settings. I was really excited for this TV and I still am. Again the quality is great, but it’s not really easy to use in my opinion (very minimal buttons on remote), and I would’ve really liked an ambient screensaver to be able to switch to. I tried searching it up how I can upload pics but I was unable to, for some reason the Google play app isn’t available on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality I absolutely love my samsung TV, I'm happy with its size and it's resolution and I really like the gaming mode that it has included, also the option to connect Bluetooth headphones right into the TV and the fact that it recognized my game consoles. I have never had any issues with it, and I also really love the way that it works with Smarthings. I can just basically do everything with my phone as I would with my TV controller do thats a huge plus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY, STOPPED WORKING IN 108 DAYS HORRIBLE TV AND CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!! DO NOT BUY !!!! I bought the Crystal UHD TV and the screen went black after 108 days. They technician failed to fix my tv after waiting 2 weeks for them to fix it. According to customer service your tv has to be broken for 15 days before they consider replacing it per the warranty policy. Today is the 15th day and Samsung is saying I have to wait another 15 days because they ordered another part. After that, if the tv STILL doesn't work I have to wait another 15 days before they review my request for a replacement. By my count that's 45 days without a working tv. I paid for a tv that works. They can never get in contact with the service department to determine the status of my "ordered" part. Supervisors are never available. Everyone will schedule you for a call back and they do not call. BUY A DIFFERENT TV THAT WILL WORK. LG, TCL, Vizio, Sony, Hisense, Phillips. At this point drawing a picture of tv and looking at that will be more effective.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, but missing a few features While the picture quality and customizable settings are immaculate on this product, there are a few features missing in my opinion. Unfortunately, when I tried to screen cast from my HP laptop, I found myself unable to do so. Apparently, there is an app available that allows you to do such a process, but it is unavailable in this device's own Marketplace, or at least from what I was able to find. Secondly, I found myself having to tape the screen cover onto the frame in one corner, as the gravity from having it mounted to my wall is causing the edge to start to peel away. The biggest annoyance I've come across is that although in the settings you have the option to remember which app was used last upon powering on your device, it doesn't seem to work very well. When I restart my TV, it automatically goes to Samsung TV Plus instead of another app that I may have been using like Hulu or Spotify. Aside from these couple of errors that I've been able to find, Samsung delivers yet another unbelievable product that I use daily, without fail, to my satisfaction. The quality of the picture is absolutely gorgeous and playback speeds when it comes to video games or Action-packed movies seem pretty much flawless. I am very impressed and if ask to make the same decision again, I would buy a second time. Good job Samsung.

I can't update the software as I can't see anything on the tv screen to be able to update it. When the tv comes on the screen is black, there is sound for maybe 10 seconds, it does not allow you to change it to any other channels or devices. It was streaming a movie on Prime when it went to black screen and switched to my directv box. I know it switched because what little sound I did get to hear was a directv channel. I changed the channel on the box and could hear the channel i changed to for about 10 seconds. Unhooked everything from the tv and still a black screen. No menus, settings or anything else will show on the screen. It will flash to a dark gray, but that's it. I bought a new tv yesterday (different brand of course) and everything on it works fine, including the directv box and antenna. I have the cheapest brand that Best Buy has in another room for 3 years and it still works fine. Samsung products are inferior products!!!! I also have a Samsung refrigerator that I paid over $1000 for, and it has problems too. I WILL NEVER BUY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE OR TV AGAIN!!!! I always thought Samsung was a good product, but I found out the hard/expensive way that they're not. I see you have already tried a few troubleshooting steps but I am going to put a few additional ones below. 1. Press the Home button on the remote. If the menu appears, the TV is powered on but is either not on the correct source or not receiving a signal. If the menu does not appear, the TV may be having power issues. Check the red standby light, a little red light at the edge of the TV that you aim the remote at. In normal use, the red standby light is on when the TV is off (indicating the TV is on standby), and the red standby light is off when the TV is in use (or doesn't have power). 2. If the menu appears, please try updating your software. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. If you are connected to an external device via HDMI, please try the below: 1. Confirm that the TV is set to the same source as the external device. For instance, if your cable box is connected to HDMI 1, set the TV source to HDMI 1. If the TV is set to the correct source, but there is still no image, unplug and reconnect the AV connections one cable at a time from both ends of each cable. If there's any damage to the cable, it will need to be replaced. After reconnecting the external device, please turn it off and back on. 2. Test the HDMI cable. The test is designed for HDMI cords less than 6 feet long and may not give accurate results on longer cords. To perform the test, make sure the TV's source is still on the HDMI setting for the cable you want to test, and then navigate to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information > HDMI Cable Test > Start Test. If the test says the cable is bad, replace the cable. Service is not required. 3. Test different external devices. The final thing to rule out is the external device you're using. Try connecting a different device or using a different source port. If the TV can display a picture in any other setup, then you've ruled the TV out as the cause of the issue. Keep trying various setups until you identify the device or cable that is not working and troubleshoot or replace it. Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect TV To Come Home To! I got this TV to replace a Samsung TV I had since 2012, it was still working after all these years mind you I just wanted to upgrade. And boy let me tell you this was an upgrade, I'm an avid gamer and movie watcher, it's clear, smooth and so far reliable, just like my last one. Everyday after work it's game time and it hasn't disappointed me once. I would 100% recommend this TV or any Samsung TV for that matter! 12 years of service and still working? Can't get that from anyone else... hah Keep up the good work, Samsung!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great smart tv.... I love my Samsung smart tv. It is very easy to use and is a dream when I am trying to view favorite shows on my favorite apps. I also love to watch MLB, NFL and college sports on my Samsung tv. I love the bluetooth capabilities so I am able to watch it while my girlfriend is asleep in our bedroom. The compatibilities with my apps is amazing.

It is more than that I had not purchased a new television since 2018 This television was larger than the one from 2018 and cost significantly less money The Picture and the smart TV options and use are amazing for the price.
