Rated 5 out of 5 by from Limitedfunctionality compared to previous models. I bought this TV mainly for one reason, ehich was to use SmartView to mirror the TV to a samsung tablet. My wife is legally blind and cannot see TV, but can somewhat by using a tablet held close. All the searches and literature I reviewed, included Samsung web sites, indicated this was possible, but apparently this functionality has been taken away. So, I am dissapointed in the purchase and would not have bought this TV had I known of this limitation.

Also, I tried calling customer service and discovered that the excellent service Samsung used to have (and was my reason for bying this TV) is gone. Customer service is turned overf to an inadequate AI. No humans left, at least that I could get to, and I tried.

The display brightness is amazing, even in a well-lit room, and the contrast is super sharp with deep, rich blacks. Colors have incredible vibrancy and look completely life-like. The UI is fast, the screen responsiveness is top-notch, and panel uniformity is excellent across the entire 55-inch display. Highly recommend if you want a premium picture quality!

I’ve had other Samsung products, I know that this is not the highest end as far as cost, BUT everything is phenomenal in the tv. My only complaint is the remote is very difficult to operate for the volume up and volume down. It does not work very well so I have to use my phone and that’s not always convenient. I’m hoping to find a physical universal remote for this TV but other than that, I have no way to connect my cochlear streamer into the tv as it’s missing the white/red cords in. It’s not a huge negative, but in order for me to hear through my calculator better that streamer needs to be able to be hooked up to the TV and since there are no, I guess they’re called holes or cord inserts where you press the little round thing into the yellow, sometimes a yellow, white and red there’s nothing there I can do but as far as the picture of the clarity and all that so far, I love it I might even buy a smaller one for my bedroom same model everything I wouldn’t know it wasn’t high-end, except for the fact that I paid for it

The remote is easy to learn to use, and closely resembles the Amazon fire stick. The only thing I had trouble with was there was no quick connect for my ear phones, or the optical sound cord from my old TV. Once I ordered the parts I needed for HDMI audio out I solved the problem except for speaker turning off when the TV shuts down, and needing turned back on in settings when TV restarted. Really liked mini LED Picture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sound issues! The sound keeps dropping. I’ve been on forums, googled, restarted, reset, checked connections, ran the sound test, you name it and nothing gives. Looks like I will be removing it from the wall mount that I had such a fun time putting it up on and returning it. I tried to connect it to my sound bar too, but wouldn’t recognize my bar on Bluetooth. I have a cable to connect the two but that’s not even an option with this tv. I have so many other things I need to do - messing with this tv is beyond frustrating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Appropriate given the cost margin Good Budget-friendly TV, big enough to enjoy some 4K content, and does bring me, a multi-samsung device buyer, coming back for more (i.e. upgrade). Obviously every price margin has its up bur also its downs. The lower RAM/Memory does make for a big of a laggy experience, but de-bloating the TV, such as removing extra software/apps that I do not use, seems to help. I just got this today, and will probably keep it. When more income or possibilities (cough* promotion cough*cough*) come along, I will consider getting an OLED instead. For now, this will do!

The remote control is undesirable at best, it is rather difficult to traverse the screens. Moving through the settings is a quest that could be easier. I was setting this TV up to watch with an antennae, this took awhile to figure out. I wanted to add an app that was not preloaded and unable to load it. I did have another remote to make things easier. If I had known this tv was not user friendly I wouldn't have bought it. should I buy another TV I will probably buy a better Brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Smart Mini TV Finally decided to divorce the family from cable subscription and purchase the Samsung 55” Mini smart tv. Our old smart was 60”. Not missing it one bit. The Mini is pre-loaded with Samsung Plus, Netflix, Prime and You Tube which makes viewing very convenient. Picture colors are vibrant and clear. To augment audio, I purchased a Samsung sound bar compatible with my TV. In all, this meets all our entertainment requirements and expectations. Hopefully, it lasts a lifetime.

The picture quality is definitely the standout for me The brightness is excellent, especially in a bright room, and the contrast gives the image a really nice sense of depth. Colors look vibrant without being overdone, and everything just looks sharp clean, and detailed I'm also very pleased with the screen uniformity. Bright and dark areas look consistent, and I haven't noticed anything distracting that takes away from the viewing experience, The responsiveness of the TV did take a bit of getting used to. The menus, apps, and general interface feel a little different from what I was used to, so there was a bit of a learning curve. That said, once you spend some time with it, it becomes easier and more intuitive My main disappointment is the sound. I would much rather have the TV audio go through my AV receiver and external speaker setup. The built-in speakers are fine, but if you already have a proper audio system, the integration could definitely be smoother and more straightforward Overall though, I'm very pleased with it. The brightness, contrast, vibrancy, sharpness, and overall picture quality are all excellent. There's a bit of adjustment needed with the interface, and I'd prefer better integration with an external receiver for sound, but none of that really takes away from how good the picture is Great picture and a very enjoyable TV overall

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just get it, you wont regret it. Replaced a 4 year old tv recently with the Samsung 55 inch Mini LED flatscreen. Blew my already high expectations out of the water. The connectivity with my now tablet and ease of use with even my third party device is lightning fast and being able to mirror my screens for emulators has been amazing. The brightness, seemlessness with my other devices (instantly paired 2 controllers and my tablet), and loudness of the speakers are my favorite parts of the TV. Another part of the tv that is nice is the gaming hub, GeForce now and Xbox cloud gaming work great. The smart things app that lets you use your phone or other deces works great too, im able to instantly open my remote to launch geforce now from my devices lock screens and play a game within seconds.

I had checked around and no one could beat the price I got. I was even more surprised at the quality of the picture, how great it handled darkness and boldness of the colors. I always buy Samsung TV's and again I wasn't disappointed. It has a outstanding quality picture for a bargain price.

We still have not successfully added all. Our pathway is to search and find the app. Getting to show has only worked once.

My new 55” is for my new apartment and it really brings the room together. Contrast and color have come a long way since my previous purchase. Also costs half what I paid back then. You get a lot of TV for the price!

I love how Vibrant all the colors look especially when I’m gaming and watching movies it’s makes it seem so much more exciting. I also really appreciate that it comes with many free channels incase I ever cancel my subscriptions to save money it’s very convenient! It’s very sturdy and the responsiveness of the tv is good but it could be better in my opinion but that shouldn’t stop you because it’s barely noticeable. it’s very bright as well so I like being able to adjust it throughout the day! Overall if you’re in the market for a tv you should definitely consider this one it’s very uniform and great! This was my first samsung purchase so i’m excited to look into more products!

Most TV response time is very slow, but the responsiveness on this one is very quick and feels very natural. The vibrancy makes it feel almost like real life as well as the unmatched uniformity. I would recommend this TV to anyone.

Contrast is on point. Controller works fine, I’m not sure why this tv has that overall complaint by reviewers.

I love the brightness of the mini LED and the responses enough to working with Soundbar and speakers to play all of my favorite videos of rock and roll and the adjustments and the controls at the touch of my telephone wonderful product very very happy The picture quality on the television set is like watching a 3D at certain times it's vibrant it's contrast is adjustable at any level Informity And the television seems to work Effortlessly with other add-ons
