We had to purchase several add on devices to make streaming and casting work...but they have difficulty, are not seamless. Our previous Roku Television was much easier to use. I don't want to have to click through 5 times to watch the same channel every night. This television is made for techies - not the regular consumer. Attempts to reach Samsung fo rhelp were fruitless

Slow to respond to remote. I really don't like this "not-so-smart" TV very much. There's so much more to using a TV besides a good picture!

We have been so satisfied with he quality that we bought another 50” Samsung TV for my mother to use in an assisted living facility. She too is happy with the ease of use as the picture and she is 96 years old. Now no more calls that my TV doesn’t work. All happy customers!

Decided to buy a mid-stream TV, knowing it would last 5-7 years on the covered patio. Humidity, dirt fibbers, etc ends up getting to the electronics. This TV over delivers for the price.

I called customer support and they said I needed to return the TV and they’d send me a coupon for the inconvenience in 2 business days. It’s been 2 weeks and no coupon and no functioning TV. This is the second Samsung TV I’ve purchased with dead pixels in 3 years. Quality is really starting to falter and so is customer service.

The picture is so clear and beautiful I love that this Samsung tv comes with a guide it makes it so easy to find what you would like to watch. But the thing I love most about this tv is the Samsung tv plus you are able to watch so many free channels without having cable. I absolutely love this Samsung tv and I would definitely recommend this tv to everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very disappointed with customer service The product itself was fine, until it wasn’t. The owner’s manual, product information and specs are very misleading. Had an issue after using the TV outside in a very protective environment. The owner’s manual states it could be used within a certain temperature range (which it was). Website chat with a “Samsung Expert “ confirmed it would be fine used outside. Tech support on phone never questioned or inquired about the outside use. Service technician who viewed the inside of the TV stated ‘“It looks good, no signs of moisture or corrosion”. Even with all the above mentioned backup support, customer service voided the warranty. Refused to repair or replace the TV. They were very argumentative. They could not provide me with any written documentation stating not to be used outdoors. They said the technician noticed condensation, completely contradictory to what he told us. Do not understand the need for dishonesty. I do understand being loyal to your company but customer loyalty is far more valuable!! Let me conclude with my facts, the TV is only 8 months old, used in a covered porch within a wall insert. Porch has a weather resistant curtain. When not in use, the TV is completely covered by a designated TV cover. Very disappointed in Samsung and the people representing them. They lost a customer for life

One even at times went on and off by itself before quitting altogether. We are on our third identical Samsung tv and so far works fine. Picture quality is great.

The sound is very average, not awful, but definitely not impressive; you’ll want a soundbar. The search takes a minute to see the ‘App’ tab hidden in the header. I gave up after months of use looking on the left for the apps and then one day accidentally swiped to it; the UI is not obvious

It starts recording and we have never recorded any thing and keeps changing to the channel that is recording. It goes to the escape screen with out of changing channel and have to put in different thing to get back on the channel we were watching. We are not happy with this TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It took some time, but it was worth it! We bought a Samsung CU8000 50 last fall from our local electronics store. It took us a while to get it set up. It sort of worked with a great deal of help, like three (3) hours on the phone with technicians. However, the tv would connect to our home Wi-Fi, shout out to our communications provider, and another hour on the phone, but not our local network. A call to Samsung, resulted in being told it was not the tv’s fault but our communications provider. We needed 2.4 gigs not 5, which we have. Call to store for service. They called on the appointed day; could they come early? Yes. They worked on the tv for more than an hour, finally said it’s not connecting properly to the Wi-Fi. They refunded the service fee and delivered a new television the next week. Hooked it up, showed us how to operate the device and left with a nice tip. We are now very happy with our tv, especially the reception on all our local stations.

I purchase Samsung electronics because I love the integration between them and my mobile devices. The cost, look and styling of this unit fit perfectly in our outdoor upgrade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cannot turn off Bluetooth. This is terrible. This tv would be great except for one feature --- you cannot turn off the Bluetooth. If you have neighbors who are trying to connect and are not careful, you will receive repeated notifications that block out the entire screen while you are trying to use the television. This is really annoying when playing video games. I only got this tv because my prior Samsung was amazing, but it allowed me to control things like whether the Bluetooth is on. Samsung send out an update to allow us to turn off Bluetooth. I am seriously thinking about getting an LG or just a computer monitor and throwing this television in the garbage. Samsung also collects a lot of information and does not disclose what it is collecting. It also unilaterally added news channels to my Home Screen and that cannot be removed. Basically the television removes all choice that ones has over a device.

I've tried all the "self help" options, but nothing has solved the issue. As a die hard Samsung customer (phones, TVs, appliances), my experience with this TV has shaken my confidence in the quality of Samsung products. I'm very disappointed with this TV.

This TV is just great, Netflix and YouTube streaming is absolutely fantastic, and now all I need is a good sound bar to have a better sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TV is crooked on the stand Although the TV works of, however the 48' tv stands are not going in straight which is causing the tv to be crooked. When the delivery guy took it out of the box and placed it on the chest, he also had a time trying to get it straight. We both thought he did at the last attempt. However, I slightly pushed it back and it became unleveled again. You can also see the legs are not even (so it's not the surface). As I have a bad back, I'm now trying to have to get someone who is younger than I to help me take it back to BestBuy to either fix or exchange.

Impossible to find way to add streaming services like Max. Even disappears my cable provider app. Samsung support doesn’t know how to correct these problems in a way that be permanent fix. Don’t buy this tv, it’s just a headache.

V.W.V.V. takes us on a trip without leaving home and the expenditure is much less. It has all WE need for home entertainment, movies, sports, gaming, and news. We just need to add a surround sound system and the experience will keep on giving.

I had purchased other 50in Samsung tv's and the sound was great but this one sounds just like all the other flat screen tv's. I basically was forced to buy a soundbar. Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a Good tv. This is a good TV for the price, even a great TV, but definitely not an exceptional TV. The processor works well, however, it could be just a little bit faster. I really wish that the quality was just a little bit better, and the blacks could definitely be better (darker) and would absolutely be better if this were not anti-reflective because that made the previous generation darker than it should have been. But it is certainly better with reflections. Other than that, for the price point, this was a really good TV. For transparency’s sake, this review has been edited using Galaxy AI for spelling and grammar. Also, for transparency’s sake, the only editing done to the picture was cropping it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV for the price good clarity It’s a great TV has a lot of good modern features the UI takes a bit to get used to but once your used to it. It’s very intuitive the voice commands works great and the TV isn’t slow at all unlike most Roku TVs

This is my first smart tv, won’t hesitate on buying another smart tv. I will definitely recommend it to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enjoying our new TV I enjoy my TV. Has excellent picture and sound. It was very easy for me to setup. Mostly use to stream tv programs, YouTube videos. Love that the remote is rechargeable and not cluttered with buttons that I'll would never use. I use in my bedroom as I'm am a disabled veteran and tv helps with PTSD.

The size of a 2 wring pens stuck together. NOT USER FRIENDLY!! Especially for seniors or slightly impaired!! Wish I had realized that different remote is not available. Samsung has lost my respect!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not what I expected from Samsung I have all Samsung TVs in my home but this latest one I purchased on Amazon has a horrible delay between changing channels or even The time it takes for the TV to turn on once you push the power button. When you select a station to watch and hit the select button it takes somewhere around 30 to 40 seconds to even open that channel up and I have excellent Wi-Fi service with a Wi-Fi connector hooked right below the television. This is the second television I have bought in a year and a half that have these issues. The other two Samsungs I own are perfect sets so I don't really know what is going on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung TV I hate it. I just want to turn on my TV and not hear them tell me what I trying to watch. I stream and have been doing it for years. I brought the TV because my Phillips was still working but it was not a SMART TV. They do too much. I am Cisco Network and have experience in computer etc. I am up with the times but oh my god. I just hate the way everything is so smart. Phones etc. We going to get struck with all this technology because they never work out the bugs, just bring in something new. Oh well, the TV works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for a reasonable price I always purchase Samsung tVs for myself and Family they are very reliable where I live in winter we have power outages which effects the TV I contact Samsung one of their tech people talks me through what I need to do They check back within an hour and again the next day to make sure everything is fine Customer Service is excellent
