The beautiful thin black frame is subtle and classy and works well with my decor. When not on it kind of disappears on the wall like it should. I also use interface and casting from my S22 Ultra and S23 Ultra phones. Samsung TVs have fantastic features and easy to use features and functions that make my work easier and efficient. HDMI Ports are seamless connectivity. Pixels and Hardware provide fantastic viewing experiences. I want to upgrade to QLED soon. My nephew loves to game on our Samsung TVs and picture is always impressive and impeccable. Picture, color and lighting is remarkably impressive quality. Sound is seamlessly integrated and matches well with various soundbars. Smart features are baked into the cake of our TVs and every Samsung TV I've owned and apps load and run smoothly. The remotes take a minute to master but overall user friendly. I will remain an impressed customer and look forward to the day I can upgrade to QLED and/or QD-OLED devices.

Was going to buy this 40" to replace my 15 year old outdated Samsung 32" I have mounted in my kitchen with a great soundbar/subwoofer. The 15 year old 32" has an Optical audio out to connect to my soundbar but this brand new 2025 40" does NOT have an optical audio out jack nor does it have a digital audio out or analog audio out. The soundbar only has these 3 ways to connect besides bluetooth and doesn't have an HDMI/ARC port because it's not a TV. So I'm left with connecting via Bluetooth only. This makes no sense. I have my S25 and my Tab S9FE connected via Bluetooth to my soundbar and will have to turn off Bluetooth on both devices so the TV will connect with out going to settings everytime I turn the TV on. I will find a 40" that has an optical audio out jack.

The picture quality is clear and bright, with good contrast and vibrant colors. The smart interface is simple to use, and streaming apps load quickly without any problems. Sound quality is solid for a TV this size, and the slim design looks great in my room. Overall, it’s an excellent TV for the price and works perfectly for movies, shows, and everyday viewing. Hi....we just purchased for XMas a 40" F6006F (UN40F6000FFZA) TV .Before we ordered it I read the manual and it clearly showed you can record from the Smart TV to a USB drive. And the sales person said yes they can. But then I try it and the remote doesnt even have a record button nor are there options! Not good.  Is there a work around to this??? Can I add on a DVR drive via the USB port and get a different remote?? It does have a very nice picture!! Very good price....tons of free excellent channels via their Smart TV but without being able to set a record tim its only good to watch it live. It can be a bit pokey when scrolling through the options but I have no experience with other 2025 tvs to say if thats normal or not. I've load all the APPS I need and it runs them fine.

Connection was simple, sound is good even without a sound bar. Will consider another one for our vacation cottage. Hardest part was getting the husband to put up the wall mount and there was, as expected, not a function on the tv remote to addresss procrastination. TV is great with a great price.

The 24 in. was only 720p so I really enjoy the higher resolution on the new TV. The new TV connected to my Wi-Fi network with no problems. This is my 3rd Samsung Smart TV. I also have 2 Samsung monitors. When I find a good brand I stick with it. The Smart TVs have all been very easy to get to work with my network. The operating system on the new TV is very different from the other 2 but very easy to learn how to use. I'm looking forward to using the new TV for a good while.

Syncing the app with the TV was also easy and convenient. Picture quality rivals that of way more expensive TVs. If you want something for a bedroom or a TV nlot to hook up anything to this would be okay. The HMDi, antennae hook up etc. is limited. In order to hook up to the antennae for local stations it is almost impossible to reach and screw in and it did not work. No place to hook up almost anything else. Picture quality okay but when changing channels it first comes in dark then lightens up. I called support and they did not want to do anything about no being able to get antennae when we think it just doesn't work. We bought it at Best Buy and no return after 15 days. We did not open it up until about 20 days because we were waiting for Spectrum to hook us up and they were two weeks late. We are now stuck with a TV that we can not use and do not need anywhere else. We bought a Vizio instead that has many hook ups and they are on the side and easy to get to. WE got it at Sam's where we now have a 3 year warranty and return policy that is customer friendly. Wish Samsung would make a 40 inch with more HDMi etc. and also be able to return if one hook up does not work.

This TV is another great product. I love that it comes with so many apps. Makes it easier to watch the programs I like and saves me the time not having to find and add the app. Plus it acts as a great extended monitor when I need a larger screen for my computer.

I have a surround sound set up to the TV. When I put the volume up to 50 or higher, it sounds like I am in the stadium.

The way everything is set up with all our apps makes the whole thing easy to navigate. We loved the 1st Samsung TV so much that now every bed room & our living room in our house, they're all Samsung and almost every member has a Samsung phone. Our youngest child was gifted an Amazon tablet from a grandparent and although it's much newer than our old Samsung tablet, Samsung takes the WIN... yet again.

I did not give it 5 stars because it seems to take longer to get the apps loaded than with other Samsung TV’s I have and have had. I expected this to be better with a 2025 model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for a great value! It is very easy to utilize my Samsung phone and connect with my TV. Which I think is a game changer. Without any cable or additional wires I am able to use the TV attached with my phone to have meeting or watch lecture videos or just use it for entertainment. While connected I can use my phone as a remote which I have never thought could be done and it has a variety of apps to download not really restricted to geographic locations which is awesome. The quality overall is very great and makes it more worthwhile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Remote is useless for over-the-air channels Generally, this TV is decent enough. As others have stated, it is very slow to respond to commands from the remote control. And its connectivity options are extremely limited. However, the big problem is that the particular remote control included with this TV does not have a "-" (dash) button, which is necessary to directly tune over-the-air channels if you are using an antenna. Over-the-air channels have a format of a number followed by a dash followed by another number. Without the dash button, you cannot key in a specific over-the-air channel number. Instead of having a dash button where every other Samsung remote control has one, which is to the left of the zero on the numeric keypad, it has a strange button labeled "TTX/MIX," which (whatever that is) is a feature that this TV does not even have. I called Samsung support to try to get them to send me a remote which would actually work, but they would not do so. So, if you plan on viewing over-the-air broadcast channels, either do not buy this TV or plan on spending more money to buy a different remote control that will actually work with your antenna.

We can project their school lessons for the laptop to the TV screen which is alot better. My husband uses it to project his games from os phone screen right to the TV screen by sharing the view. Plus it comes with some apps already predownloaded on it. The bonus to having a Samsung smart TV is that u can watch free shows and movies if u want to. The a plus in my books

Due to ordering it with enough time to wrap it, Samsung won’t replace or fix the TV! Make sure you open and test right away if you buy as a gift! 2 Stars because at least one works!

The menu is way different from my other three Samsung TV’s, so there was a learning curve. The connection between the remote and the tv lags as do the apps. My internet provider says the connection is solid. So I get a little frustrating searching for my apps and then waiting for them to load.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trouble to turn on television. We loved our older Samsung TV, but our new 40” tv doesn’t even have a port to plug in the soundbar -the old 40” had about 3 ports. We have to turn on tv and go through 4 steps to get sound to blue tooth. We even bought a new soundbar and it will connect about 1/2 the time. I have called the 800 number and employee told me Samsung 40” doesn’t have but one port. Model #:OHSK3CGY 401468R. Why did they make it like this?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very poor connectivity all around Just purchased and seriously hit by buyers remorse. 1- The unit has delays from the remote itself, it literally takes a couple of seconds for TV to respond to any command. 2- I have a the Samsung HW-B400F and it suffers delays in voicing as well. 3- WiFi connection is horrible, router is practically next to it and consistently keeps loading (all devices connected were shut off and no change). My LG is downstairs and never has this issue, while 9 different devices are connected. This Unit is horrible!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pleased I am an older person and after 15 years without a television, I bought the Samsung and an LG about a couple of months apart. Both are great, but I like the Samsung better. Both were extremely easy to set up. The Samsung picture is amazing. Very clear. The Samsung remote is much less complicated than the LG remote which has way too many “buttons”. Both remotes can do the same things. The Samsung moves quickly from task to task and starts immediately, while the LG takes a little longer. I also think the Samsung settings and options are easier to navigate, especially for an older person. As far as sound without a sound bar, the LG is more clear. On the Samsung, the background noise sometimes interferes with the dialog, a problem fixed with a volume adjustment . I’m sure the appropriate accessories would negate this issue. Overall, I highly recommend the Samsung and would purchase it again. Best Buy, as always, had great prices, wonderful service and knowledgeable people who moved fluidly from those who are technically oriented and those of us who are not. They are my “go to” for anything technical or any issues I might have (not that I ever have any).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TV does not come with wall mount bracket screws I like the TV but I wanted to use my previous TV wall mount bracket. Be aware this TV does not come with bracket screws. I had to order them separately. They were cheap but an aggravation no less. I had to do a little searching to find the correct size screws to use. In my search Samsung referred to my user manual and of course there was no mention of screw size. The screws should be supplied or at least give the option to order them when ordering the TV

The bluetooth audio connection is screwy and I regularly have to reconnect bluetooth speaker, which is torturously slow. The apps are slow and clunky. I can’t even get it to connect successfully to my digital antenna. via coaxial cable. Not everything needs to be “smart.” TV inputs should not be part of the smart software. Heck, just put a physicsl toggle switch on the tv, that would be better than this crap system that some low-paid software designers without and ability to understand how people actually use TVs designed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Affordable TV For an inexpensive Smart tv this 40 in Samsung is great. However, I did have to make a few adjustments out of the box. The picture quality wasnt quite sharp enough and was able to go into the settings and make adjustments. Also the sound quality isn't the greatest either. The sound volume changes between watching movies and commercials. I'm constantly having to adjust the volume with the remote. I was able to adjust the settings but that's still a problem. A soundbar might fix this but because this is a Samsung product, I feel I shouldn't have to buy an additional accessory to fix this problem. I do love the Samsung Plus feature and the ease of switching from tv to streaming channels but wish the remote had backlit lighting. This tv replaced a 15 year old LG tv in my bedroom so overall I'm happy with my purchase even with the few shortcomings.

I have to unplug/plug in the TV just to get it to respond. I recommend running an Ethernet cord directly to the TV if you do get it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from can't hear I received the 40-inch Samsung Smart TV for Christmas along with a Samsung HW-S50B soundbar. The soundbar is connected vis HDMI cable. My problem is that I don't hear well, and even with the TV volume set at 100, which is the maximum volume, I still have trouble hearing. I can hear sounds just fine, but clearly understanding voices is a different matter. The maximum volume setting just isn't enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrible This TV is absolute garbage. Constantly freezes and restarts, or just freezes to the point you have to unplug/replug. If you click anything, good luck stepping back. You have to start over from the home button. Great price, but I would never recommend this headache.
