Rated 5 out of 5 byleatherboy40 from Great monitor att a great priceI bought a 24" UHD Samsung monitor to replace my old Samsung 24" LED monitor. I'm limited on desktop space and it fit my area nicely. Good sturdy monitor stand, brig picture, fast response times for gaming. Only negative about this monitor is the controls are in a joystick format which takes a bit of getting used to.

Rated 5 out of 5 byGoneShopping from Great ValueOverall, it’s a great product. The only reason I don’t give it five stars it’s because of its sturdiness. For such a large monitor, it doesn’t feel like its frame and stand are strong enough to support. I will buy a monitor arm to attach it to my desk. Other than that, it’s an awesome product for the price. I still have to see how it performs in the long run.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJPonSamsung from Amazing monitor!I just switched from a 1080p 24-inch monitor and use my new Samsung UE590 28-inch monitor for gaming and streaming videos with my Xbox One S. The quality of the picture is amazing and extremely crisp and clear to the point where you can see the pores on someone's face in a tv show or single blades of grass in a game like Battlefield 1. There are tons of features packed into this monitor allowing the user to customize the settings in a way that suits their viewing habits best. The only issue I have found is that this monitor does not support HDR10 so you cannot truly get the full 4k HDR experience but the difference of having HDR10 is so minute and the quality of the picture is so nice that it doesn't really affect the user experience at all. The 28-inch option is definitely worth choosing over the 24-inch version as the extra 4 inches really give you a more in-depth experience when gaming or watching tv as it is noticeably larger than its 24-inch counterpart and allows you to see more of the details in the picture clearly. The monitor even has an audio out jack so you can plug in a sound system which is great for when you want to switch to Netflix after gaming and no longer want to wear a headset. If you are looking at this monitor for regular computing purposes it is also a great computer monitor due to the fact that it includes many customizable settings such as Picture In Picture mode or Picture By Picture mode which is great for someone who does stock trading, for example, and must have various computer windows open at the same time. All in all, this monitor is jam-packed with great features and is amazing and for the price. You won't find another 4k monitor for this price that even comes close to rivaling the UE590 whether it be the technical specifications or the user experience.

Although my computer does not support 60 Hz refresh (yes to 4K at 30 Hz), the colours and picture quality is very nice. The overall design is great as well! Plus, it's EnergyStar certified.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJCKodel from Stupidest monitor ever!1) The VESA holes are on top of the monitor. No matter which adapter you use, it will never be higher than the original support (the holes are so high that the plate stays above the monitor border). And the holes are lower than the back of the monitor (where the cables are connected), so there is no way whatsoever to fix that. 2) Is hard to turn the monitors off. There's a bug on nVidia + DisplayAdapter where my second monitor keeps turning on/off when the computer is in stand by. To turn this monitor off it has to be on (remember: it is flickering on/off mode), and you'll have to use a menu to turn it off! Cmon!

Rated 5 out of 5 bykettlebell5000 from misleadingthis monitor is great as long as you only use the DP cable. The HDMI ports do not offer 4k at 60HZ. it is also not compatible with an xbox one s or a ps4 pro so if you are looking to stream 4k media through either of those consoles do not purchase this monitor...you will only get 1080p

Rated 5 out of 5 bySamsungluv87 from This monitor is beautiful! This monitor is absolutely stunning, I have never played games on such a beautiful screen at unbelievable resolutions, definitely recommended!! Only complaint is that has a large bezel traded in a 27 inch 3D Samsung that's probably half the size of this one as far as the bezel goes. Other than that absolutely beautiful!!

Rated 5 out of 5 byFlyboyTex from Great ProductThe picture on this monitor is terrific. I have a R9 280 video card with an AMD 8 cpu processor and the monitor really improves my X-Plane flight simulator. Working on pictures with Adobe Photoshop is also greatly improved. The display is a little bright, but I much prefer it as is instead of using the eyesaver mode which is just a push button away. Installation was just remove from box, hook up power cord and display port cord and start windows 10. It came up working in max pixels. I switched to HDMI so I could use the monitor speakers (not an option with display port cord). I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 byopaceo from A lot for the moneyThis monitor offers a good image for the price. Mind you it's OMG awesome and if you are using it as a desktop computer monitor you will probably see some discoloration on the sides of the screen at what is normal viewing distance for a desktop monitor. In general I would say the flat field (uniformity of color over the entire viewing area) is okay but not accepatble for critical applications. I bought two of these for my PC. The amount of detail available on a 28" 4K monitor at desktop monitor viewing distances makes for a generous amount of productive work space.

Rated 5 out of 5 byschm1822 from Great Product! A Few Things to Note!Main Use of Monitor: Graphic Design / Video Editing / GamingGraphics Card: AMD Radeon R9 290XOverall this is an excellent monitor at a great price! A few things to note:-Be sure to use a DisplayPort 1.2 connection for full 4K at 60Hz (HDMI only does 30Hz). Don't forget to install the driver included on the CD as well, or from the Samsung website.-If you use Catalyst Control Center, be sure to set the refresh rate to 60Hz if you want 10-bit color. The 64Hz setting restricts you to 8-bit color.-There is no DisplayPort 1.2 driver available for Windows 10 as of the date of this review. This isn't a huge issue but I have experienced some flickering when I have light colors on one side of the screen and dark colors on the other. Some blogs recommend going into the Device Manager and navigating to 'View>Show hidden devices', and then deleting old monitor drivers if present. I can't comment on the effectiveness of this, but thought it should be noted.-It took me hours to get AMD's FreeSync feature working, as the option wasn't showing up in my graphics software (Catalyst Control Center). After updating all of the drivers and at the end of my rope, I simply unplugged the cable and plugged it back in. Sure enough, that did the trick. Of course. Be sure to go into the monitor's OSD and select FreeSync>On.-I enjoy 'Game Mode' with AMD FreeSync for video and gaming, but keeping 'Game Mode' on allows you to only adjust the brightness of the screen. You will need to adjust the color profile in your graphics software or elsewhere if you have 'Game Mode' on, not from the monitor's OSD. If you're a graphic designer or photographer, I would recommend a third-party color calibrator for more accurate colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 byGatiss88 from Faulty monitorI bought this monitor less than 2 months ago and I guess my model was faulty at the beginning. It is hurting my eyes like the GPU driver isn't installed, however it is and I have a GPU that supports 4k. THe feeling is like the screen is flickering all the time and I cant work more than 2 hours on it. And this is not a brightness issue. Even with low brightness I still can't work on it. Also, it was not turning on with the PC and I had to manually turn it on. So I brought it to the official warranty and I received it back only 1 month later. It turned out that the motherboard of the monitor was faulty. It seems that it fixed the eye hurting and weird static sounds the screen was making. Now a week or two later, the screen is hurting my eyes again and the HDMI2 sometimes is turning off and doing some visual tearing. And it is not the cable fault as i tried it with multiple ones. Now i have to take it again back to warranty for the second time owning a new monitor for less than 2 months. I feel absolutely tired of this. I want to get my money back or get a new screen, as it is complete nonsense that you have to fix a completely new screen already 2nd time in couple of months. Besides all this, I am not sure if the picture quality is also that good based on the device description.

Rated 5 out of 5 byxwred5 from Excellent 4k Monitor for the PriceI bought a refurbished monitor a few weeks ago. Great quality, picture looks great. I did have slight flickering from my 60Hz HDMI port - I switched to the display port and it went away. I didn't bother trying a new set of HDMI cables.... maybe I should.I've played a few games at >1080 with no issues. Monitor changes resolutions responsively. I need a new video card to really play in 4k.I am adopting relatively early, so the tech is only going to improve. For the for the price, I have no complaints.

Rated 5 out of 5 byEEJerry from Pure Visual ExcellenceWhat do you buy a monitor for .? You want a visual experience that is great. This monitor exceeds my expectations. Keep in mind that most users are going to use this monitor for 4-7 hours a day. While building my system the most important is (eye candy) i want to be able to look at my monitor that is easy on my eyes and has great visuals. I have used this monitor with the onboard hdmi and display port on my Asus 1080ti video card. Both are very easy to watch and use. Gaming graphics @ 4k is stunning and with the 1ms response time it makes the games the best experience I have had.The negative. The Vesa mount is 75mm standard , however it is offset. It is located at the top ,instead of the middle. I use multiple monitors and have a desk mount to support dual monitors and they cannot be side by side due to the mount difference. however if you just use it on the desk , the adjustments that can be made are very extensive. Planning on buying 2 more very soon. One other thing, The power supply is external and can be replaced if you have a power line problem. So a new power supply instead of sending it somewhere for repair, if that ever comes up. I will get another monitor very soon to replace the other monitor I use , then the VESA issue will be corrected. For the price point you really can not do any better. And in some instances you can more and still come up short in quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 byPDXTabs from Holy monitor stand batmanFirst of all, I would buy this monitor again. Second of all, I have no problem with the TN panel. However, the stock monitor stand is every bit as bad as people say. To add insult to injury the VESA mount is at the top of the monitor, which:1. Makes it hard to line up with you other monitors if you have a dual monitor stand.2. Makes it hard to get the monitor high enough in some applications, potentially negatively affecting ergonomics.

Rated 5 out of 5 byKHGP from Great Monitor - Super simple setupThis is a great monitor with more features than I will ever need or use. The monitor is surprisingly light weight compared to my old Samsung 24 inch. The colors are bright and the contrast allows me to not have to use my reading glasses when using it. The setup was very simple and I didn't even have to make any adjustments it Windows 10 to use it. That is about as plug and play as you can get. The only thing I will need to do that is extra is purchase a 10 ft DP cable as my computer/monitor setup on my desk makes the 6 ft cable a tight and somewhat stretched fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 byf4ik from Ergonomic disasterThe height of this monitor can not be adjusted at all. Of course, this may work fine for you depending on your height, the height of your chair and your desk, but for many, it won't. I would never sit in front of such a monitor for an extended period of time. Since I immediately returned the ones I received, I cannot say anything sensible about the performance of the monitor, as it is unusable to us due to the above issues. I am appalled that something like this can come out of the design process of a company like Samsung.

I edit videos and pictures on this bad boy, have my work computer hooked to it as well as watch tv on it. One of the coolest features it has is PIP, not to mention the monitor came with an HDMI cord and a cord for my work docking station already in the box saving me from having to buy them. Light weight and just great. Highly recommend. Only con is the power button its like a tiny joystick that controls everything from sound to settings to input selections. I would have liked dedicated buttons instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 byMrUniverse from Great Work and Play MonitorThe size and clarity provide an excellent canvas for my work both as a teacher and an engineer. The ability to snap a different window into each corner, all with plenty of space to work in is fantastic. Brightness is fantastic, sometimes way too bright (of course it can be easily adjusted). Color accuracy and viewing angles aren't the greatest (as with any TN panel) but response times are excellent. Overall a great monitor for work and play, so long as you have a beefy GPU and color accuracy isn't needed for work.
