Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product has great features I’ve been trying out Samsung’s Premiere 7 Laser Projector (LPU7D, 2024), and honestly—it’s a really fun way to bring the movie theater home without having to hang a giant TV on the wall. The biggest win is the ultra-short throw design. You can set it just a few inches from the wall and still get a massive screen (up to 120 inches). No ceiling mounts, no messy wires—just drop it on a cabinet and go. The design itself looks clean and modern, so it blends in nicely instead of screaming “projector.” The picture quality is solid—4K via pixel-shift looks sharp, and Samsung’s AI upscaling does a decent job making lower-res stuff look better. That said, it’s not the brightest projector out there. If you’ve got a lot of sunlight in your living room, the image can look a little washed out. It really shines in a dark room, though—movies and shows feel way more immersive. I also like that it’s basically a smart TV in projector form. You’ve got Samsung’s Tizen OS, streaming apps, even a gaming hub built in. No need for extra boxes unless you want them. The built-in speakers are surprisingly decent too—30 watts with Dolby Atmos. Obviously, a soundbar or surround system is going to beat it, but for casual watching, it’s more than fine. If you’ve got a controlled lighting space and want a stylish, all-in-one projector that doubles as a giant smart TV, the Premiere 7 is a solid pick. It’s not the best choice if you’re battling a bright room or want absolute top-tier picture quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BAD SERVICE I bought this in Jan of 2025. I had to send it in because there was a white dot on the screen that showed up after having the projector for 1 month. After sending it in to samsung to get "fixed" I unpacked it and with in20 minutes of turning the projector back on it just shuts off. It will stay on for only about 5 minutes then shuts off by its self and Samsung is not helping is fix this problem at all!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome UST projector! Buying this projector and a 100" screen turned our living room into a movie theater! And the picture quality is beautiful, especially in 4K! It's such a treat to watch. We use it mostly to stream movies and tv shows, but we also have a PC connected to it. The only downside is that we watch WAY too much TV now!

Gaming on it is great, too. First person shooters will experience some lag, but what TV doesn't! All in all, this has been a great purchase for our theatre room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome projector! Had it for 5 days now. Picture could be brighter in the day time. My living room is also not blacked out that's why. You will need a screen especially if your walls are textured like mine.. product is good for 20,000 hours . Hopefully I can buy an extended warranty. Don't want issues 2-3 years down the road

The picture and sound quality surpassed my expectations, the sound is clear and crisp even at full volume. I love how the audio follows the action across the screen. If in the market for a projector this one is definitely a good choice.

I called customer care and the only thing they would do was send me a label to return the device for repair. So apparently I paid $3,100 to get a refurbished projector!! Not pleased with this outcome. A brand new device should not need to be repaired. And who's to say a few months down the road it won't just stop working again!?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Projector My wife and I bought this projector for our basement theater room, and we mean an actual theater room. We have a 150' screen on our wall and it projects stunningly! The picture always amazes me and our friends. An old friend of mine came for a visit and said, I bet you have the biggest TV in town, but what he saw blew his mind beyond his expectations! We watched movies all weekend and played video games. We hooked up a 7.2 surround sound to it visit Sony. We never go to the theater anymore and everyone loves coming to our place for parties. Even watching TV programs on it is incredible! I will say this, we did have an issue about half a year after we bought it. However, Samsung was one of the best customer services I've ever dealth with getting it repaired, and it cost us $0. We've had it since it first released, so around 4 years. Most other brands cost $4200 to get something comparable. The cost was great for us and I cannot recommend it more. Thank you Samsung for making s great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Premiere. Crisp picture. Great for gaming 8K resolution at over 120 inches. Works well with all of my consoles. Easy setup and you can move it around from room to room if needed. Only downside is that the picture-in-picture only works with Samsung TV channels and not all HDMI devices.
