Samsung T9 consistently shown up on the list. Then I researched Samsung, Best Buy, and Amazon on reviews and honestly had the highest rating. I have Samsung TVs and laptop and love the quality. I went with the T9. Uploading documents to have a physical copy was quick and seamless. It’s simply the best and amazing quality. You definitely want this one.

I was considering others, but this literally was the best. It takes seconds to show up on my MacBook and S23. I use it daily to record my videos for YouTube. So fast, I can't imagine it being faster. I edit my videos off it with final cut pro and NO lag whatsoever. Very happy with my purchase. I love the grip addition in comparison to the T7. Prevents dropping easily, WHICH IVE DONE IN THE PAST.

Mine was no problem setting up, as I use a Samsung Fold. My elderly mother, however, uses some other brand phone and it took me forever to set hers up. Otherwise, good product. Does what it's supposed to. Gives me some piece of mind that photos are backed up elsewhere.

Not only is it stable on my Mac and pc, it also transfers data really quick! This is my second portable ssd, my first was a t5 1tb. I can notice the speed difference instantly. Looking forward to purchasing more samsung ssd's in the future.

No setup or formatting was needed to start using it. Originally used it to back up our aging laptop (now replaced) and now use it for digital photo storage. So quite naturally i looked for another T5 but i was unimpressed then i saw the T9 and was compelled to trybit out and the speed of upload and download to and from it was so fast i didnt have time to even click from the icon. Needless to say the storage is massive as i make a lot of videos. this is a must have in your portable storage arsenal.

Rapidly flashing blue light when connected. It's toast. Going to call support on Monday. 5 year warranty so should be an easy swap.

Looks great form factor nice finish of satin black plastic was of great fit and finish.

Samsung really nailed external storage with fingerprint security. Improvement suggestions: 1) stronger two-factor authentification security. Fingerprint causes pop up on phone to match fingerprint. 2) even smaller design. I think two terabyte is The Sweet spot, the size of a thumb drive with fingerprint would be nice 3) automatic backup from AND to phone. I should be able to partition a secure portion of the drive for automatic phone backup. Every time I plug in the phone it should only transfer new files and newer revisions of the same files not an entire transfer.
