The nib (tip) is barely held in there.
Wow. That broke quick. I baby my pen, and I even have a case that protects it perfectly. Pulled it out today and the nib was randomly hanging out halfway. I thought, "guess I'm buying a new one for $20-$30 bucks." NOPE! $60 before tax and it's out of stock.
I've always had Samsung because of quality. This is extremely disappointing. First time I've questioned Samsung's quality, but it's going to rock my future decisions.

A review that's just like the other (bad) reviews
Much like the majority of the reviews here reflect, this S Pen is bunk. I'm perplexed as to why Samsung cut corners on what is arguably the most important tool for the Galaxy S7+ tablet. Now, don't get me wrong, the tablet was a dream to work with for the six days that the S Pen worked until the nib broke. No biggie, right? I mean, it's still under warranty, right? Well, it's all for naught when the replacement S Pen is out of stock for over a month (and counting), forcing me to reluctantly purchase the newest S Pen model that boasts reviews comparable to the reviews you're reading here. But what sealed the deaI for me was the promise of a 1-year warranty on the new S Pen, so I purchased the new S Pen with the hope that next month I won't be stuck S Pen-less and waiting on two replacement S Pens due to faulty nibs. Anyhoo, thank you for reading my rant as I kindly remind myself to be grateful that I am privileged enough to complain about something so menial as the shoddy manufacturing of a piece of plastic & rubber when compared to all other troubles found in this whole and vast ever-expanding universe.
...the S Pen's still bunk, though.

Worthless
Half of the time I can't get it to connect to the charging strip on the back, and it doesn't work like the descriptions show.

Fragile nib
I should have read these pen reviews before I bought my Tab S7 5G. I love the feel of the pen, but the nib seemed fragile, so I started looking for replacement nibs... only third party hard plastic available? So, Samsung chooses not to support its own product? I am disappointed.

An $800 Tablet with a 10 cent Spen
the quality of the spen sucks. i didn't get two weeks out of the pen that came with the tablet. it is crazy that samsung does not have replacement nibs.
samsung should step up and include 12 nibs with the pen. that way, they may last until the warranty expires. since samsung decided to not sell the nibs, they should have no problem replacing the spen twelve times during the 1-year warranty.

Nibs wear out too quick
i love the s pen with my tab 7 but you don't sell replacement nibs! they wear out so quick yet you don't include replacements with the pen.

the tip of of the pen broke so fast! what's even more frustrating is there isn't any replacement parts! the whole point of the tablet was to make homework easier. i should have just grabbed a microsoft product.

Does what is needed
i use this everyday for work during meeting for the past 2 months now. it is perfect, does what it needs to do. love the feel and feedback when writing, so much better than paper and pen.

bought 5he tablet and pen broke with in 3 days with no replacement. went to go buy a new one and the store is out . tht was the whollllllleeeeee point of buying one. i wish i bought the ipad...

Pen
i am a samsung avid user. i have my samsung note.ky husband is also samsung user. we recently bought the tab s7 like 2 months now.
i just saw and read reviews and thought of writing a reciew as well.
1 month of using the tip of the pen just suddenly wiggled. it was moving. i didnt know how because i dont write that hard enough to loosen it.
i tried calling the store where we bought it but they said call samaung. i called samsung and disapointed i was they said they will not replace it and i should buy new one. i just thought it was unfair. its just barely 2 months and clearly it was a product flaw but they dont want to replace it. i was hoping theyd consider it.

Better than Lenovo
i bought the $100 lenovo pen back when i had a lenovo touchscreen laptop and it felt terrible. the pen was to heavy and it felt like you were writing on ice. this pen is awesome. only pen i've felt is the microsoft pen but that feels heavy too. it's the perfect balance of weight, and friction while you use the pen and the magnetic storage makes putting your pen away a snap. i can drop the pen on tablet cover and it slides and snaps in to place with out me touching it. the one thing i wish is that it was held in place better. it does fall out unfortunately, but this is rare.

Broke in half
This literally broke in half under pressure! The quality on this is that cheap! I hope Samsung is willing to replace this for me for free! Though not even sure how long the replacement would last.
It was fantastic when it worked at least.

Terrible.
Break too easy and no way to fix them. Then they want you to spend 60 bucks for a new one. Buy a different brand. I'll no longer be spending my money on Samsung products.
